10:30pm: Yes! One of my Plurk pals (I don't know who because they were anonymous!) was giving away two month paid accounts to a few lucky friends who put their name in. Which I did and as a result was one of the lucky ones who got one! So now I have my Pinkie Pie Mood theme to compliment the rest of my journal, yaaaay!

I can also use more icons...at least for two months, LOL, I suppose I may as well upload a few while the going is good, the account will expire oddly enough on my big brother's birthday on 15th September.

In other good news, my new mobile phone case arrived today! It's very nice, and the black holder bit for the actual phone is a more mallable plastic kind of material, which I hope won't end up breaking away like the case I had before. The only downside is the volume and button that turns off the screen are covered, they still work, but they're not quite lined up with the intentations of the black holder part. Ah well, they seem to work OK from the fiddling around I've done with it.

Moving on, I took the buses to work today, it worked quite well! And also allowed me to get quite a bit of reading done, which is the main reason I like catching public transport. Although I suppose with the Casual Pool situation I should err on the side of car taking, but perhaps not the buses to Mona Vale run pretty often, I guess I'll just need to check how quickly I can get from Mrs. S's place to the library.

Speaking of which, I still haven't received an email link for the online oritentation stuff, the HR person said she'd email a link to me by now, I wonder if I should call tomorrow or wait? I probably should call, show some iniative and stuff, it'll make me look good, right?

Finally...er...I had something to write, but I've gone and forgotten what it was now! Man, I think this is a sign I should get more sleep! I don't think I'm getting quite enough zzzs. Anyway, hopefully, whatever it was wasn't that important.

9:37pm: I'm so embarrassed! After work today I went down to the Telstra shop to get the charagers the Boss needs for his new phone. Unfortunately, I didn't have the piece of paper with the info on it and as it turns out I got the wrong ones! Fuuuuck! The Boss is going to be most displeased! What a complete pisser, seriously. :O(

Anywho, as you may have noticed I have a new mood theme! Which I didn't make myself, except for two pictures. Well it will be two pictures once I figure out how to put a damn border around them, seriously, I can't figure out how to do it!

Right figured that out.

So yeah, new mood theme, yay! Although the piccies are a lot smaller than I usually do, probably because the resolution is so high on this screen, so it probably looks bigger on just about everyone else's computer.

Hey! There's a show on right now called Help! I'm a Hoarder!, which is about compulsive hoarding, which I don't think I have, because well, I have stuff I need, just not enough room for it...I don't go picking up thrown out shoes or whatever on the street! Or like the dude with 5000 bicycle parts.

I'm more lazy than anything else.

There's a lady on this that makes a good point that some things that people chuck out are perfectly good, but the thing to do would be to take it to the local op-shop/Vinnies/whatever, not take it back to your damn house, what's that gonna do?

And yikes, here's double trouble, two hoarders married each other! Not quite realising at the time...oh snap!

Although, it really does look quite bad in here...I need to do something about that! At least get rid of the dang plastic bags since they're beginning to take over again.

10:16pm: Or rather I've all ready been and it's actually my Grandparents' house, but anyway, the point is there was Canasta played today!

And unfortunately, I got thrashed by M, it didn't help that this stomachache I've had since yesterday was throwing a complete spazz. I actually considered not going, but I fought through it. It presisted though and made it sort of hard to concentrate, still I think M would have won either way, because I sure didn suck today!

M very kindly brought some non-yeast bread for lunch since I told her about my unfortunate tongue issue. With ham and cucumber and lettuce on th side, yummy, very yummy, how I love a good sandwich! Plus she gave me the bread so I can take into work tomorrow too, huzzah!

Anywho, I kinda didn't do much writing this weekend because for some reason I got the inspiration to twick with my George and Lorraine Mood Theme and the next thing you now I was working hard on get 132 individual moods like I originally planned. And yeah there goes a lotta hours! I've done them all though now I just have to upload them and set them, good stuff.

Lookee! I finished my Mood Theme! However, I really shouldn't use it until I get a response via email from the person who took most of the pictures I used to make the icons.

In other news, today the internet here (knock on wood, touch gold) just crashed! Like it was down and out for the count...I had to actually call up the Telstra people to get it reconnected...which was a huge schmoozle because we didn't have any phone bills at hand and Dad and I didn't know what name the Bill was under or any of that. Honestly, the big bro hasn't told us anything about what service we're on and he was uncontactable. But eventually, everything was back up again.

However, whilst the net was down I made the best of it! My friend Ben called up and asked if I wanted to go the Australian Museum where Zep has some work being displayed. I promised to go see that aaaaaages ago, so it was good to head on over. :O) And WOW! Zep said it wasn't a big deal, but it sure looks like it to me! I mean there were walls around it, and there was writing on the wall...Man I've always wanted my name on a wall! Some people came along while Ben and I were looking about at stuff on an upper level and looked at it with great interest. I think it's going to be there for six months so heaps of people will see it! Ah, I predict great futures for all my friends...however, I'm not sure where I fit in. Gulp!

Ooh, a new series of Infamous Murders is on Ch. 7, it's a very interesting program when you can't get Crime and Investigation Network, this first ep is on Hate Crimes. Geeze, the 1960s is whack...and the Klu Klux Klan is the freakiest thing ever...those guys are still around, unbelievable.

The only problem is I didn't have a proper tape, so I just had to grab one, I shall have to make a purchase tomorrow.

Anyway, I'll have to watch the rest of this tomorrow because I have to get to bed now.

Indeed I am! For there is no chocolate to be had here and so I go to bed without my customary desert. Ah well, what can you do.

Well, I'm feeling a little dumb, I'm pretty sure tonight marks the end of my paid time on mooseys_sims and I'd been planning to collect a few more special purpose pics to complete my mood them before this time came, but alas! Although looking at the email I got, maybe I've got one more day because it goes by US time. We shall have to see if I can get the images together in time.

In other news, tomorrow I'm going over to my Uncle Sam's for a trail run out in the granny flat, which is quite nice, painted blue (not my favourite colour), the only weird thing is the refridgerator is in the shed, which means I'll have to tramp over there every time I want to get a cold drink out of the fridge! I'm thinking I'll have to take the water cooler (which I actually own), so I won't have to do that (since I get thirsty a lot).

As for today's interview, I was sorely disappointed to find they were just setting me up with an account to access the Job Network, I suppose if I can't get a job in three months then they'll do the heavy duty type stuff. Hmmm well...I'm expecting the email to arrive tomorrow.

Yawn, the Moose be tired so...

10.45p.m: Yeah new mood icon theme! In fact I've overhauled my LJ...by which I mean I've changed my little collage on the side to reflect my latest obessession...one of the weirdest of mine yet! King George III (and family...and it's a BIG one the dude and his wife had 15 kids! Cripes! :Oo)...I blame his Huge-Ass Library and fondess for boiled eggs in the mornings (even got his own royal egg boiler) for this.

Now, the Mood Theme isn't entirely done because I don't have the movie (The Madness of King George) on DVD...I wasn't actually planning to use the movie since it's only a representation, but I decided...screw it. Only problem is I really don't have the money to buy it at the mo...so I'll either have to borrow it from somewhere (it's not in either of the video rental places here) or wait 'til someone gets me a gift card for my birthday.

Which reminds me, gotta think of something to do that's not inviting my friends here (still unsure of parental reactions), but the weather is still rainy so the bech remains out of the question, although tonight at sunset gave us quite a show! The whole cloud covered sky was tinged red! Isn't that bad luck for sailors or something? I swear there's something about that...

But yes! My friend Ben has just got online back from Japan and his Uni, so I'll ask him what he thinks about it and see if I can set up a day and an activity of some description. I almost wish I could have it at someone else's house, but who the Hell does that? It'd be worse than inviting myself over (which my mother taught me was a cardinal sin), so yeah that's out kinda.

Hmmm...so, yes, that's about all I've got on the agenda for tonight...although having spoken to Ben (well ICQed him at least) it looks like he might not be able to come to any party of mine because he's back at Uni all ready. Shame :O( But I'll have to see what the other friends are up too.

What do you think of my animated Bouncy mood icon? Does it hurt the eyes or anything? I wonder if I should animated any others? Probably not, since the only reason I animated this one because it's for bouncy of course!

Hmmm...well damn this is a pretty usless update...although just a minute ago I saw Scott Biaio eg Jack from Diagnosis Murder on the Nanny! He was playing a doctor no less! Awww, I miss Jack, he was so cool, I'm still peeved he didn't hang around longer, what was behind that, if it was to move onto bigger projects it was a bit of a bust, he hasn't been in anything big ever since!

That also reminds me of something else I saw on TV!, they have the best Law and Order: SVU ad! It features heavily the 'Doink! Doink!' They ask they actors about the 'Doink! Doink!' It sooo cute! I need to tape that one!

Yep, so I've been spending quite a part of the day putting in more Lorraine themed mood icons to even out my set a bit. The Lorraines also insisted up on it, even 1985-A Lorraine!

In other news: Smeg! I need my Low Income Health Card so I can go to the doctors and buy my medication without breaking the bank, but despite the fact I've had one for the last year and I took myself down to the Centrelink, they still have to check it out to make sure I'm legit! I could be waiting for weeks before it arrives! And I got some medicine cheap yesterday on the understanding I'd bring the Health Card in quickly...now what am I going to do? This bites!

In other even better news: Strictly Dancing is back! Hooray! Just in time for me to realise that the ABC is working on the satillite, especiallly since as it turns out I did miss The Glasshouse, that bites! Ah well....

Hmmm....what else? Mothing much, I need to go and catch up on my LJ Friends List because I'm far behind again. :O)
