11:49pm: My right hip area that is. For the past few weeks it's been sore, at first I thought it was the actual joint, but now I'm not so sure...it seems more muscular. I did have to go to the physio a while back for pain in my side, but it was higher up so I'm not sure if it's the same issue. But yeah, it's really annoying and I don't want to end up doing some long term damage or something.

Anywho, I've managed to leave it a bit long to not only update this, but also clean up my apartment a bit more because Mum is coming over with the Lite 'n' Easy and also to watch our shows and she'll kick my ass if it looks like it does now.

Instead of cleaning up my place I was playing Dressmaker and then American Truck Simulator, I ended up not buying a new used truck because I like my green truck!

On that note, I should be off because midnight is coming.

11:26pm: OK, that sounds really dramatic, but I was the Director of Shoot or DOS today at archery (the Club President gave me a whistle last week and said I should do it this weekend and since I was at work yesterday, today was the day) which meant blowing the whistle to let everyone know when to approach the shooting line, when to start shooting and when to go out to collect the arrows.

This was not without drama, at one point I almost sent everyone out to collect their arrows when some was still shooting (I was sitting down and someone was standing in front of said person) and when someone left their bow behind at the target (which was a weird thing to do, because you don't usually take your bow out when you go to score). In that case a left handed archer spotted the bow because from where I was positioned there was no way I'd see the bow unless I looked over my shoulder like some sort of owl. Although I guess I should have double checked before blowing the whistle. But overall I did a good job, so go me!

Alas, I missed out on a PB by 3 points, but what are you gonna do?

Now, about cleaning...um...I did do my laundry, but I'm sorry to say that I slacked off and the place is still looking terrible. Well shit. It's after 11:30pm! Sigh, I don't know why I do this to myself.

On that note, I better get outta here - once again the Friday Five continues to languish. We'll get to it though!

11:44pm: Not of my car, but in American Truck Simulator which I haven't played for quite some time, which is a dang shame because I got the steering wheel and everything. So I got it out from the backroom and made some deliveries. Unfortunately, my truck is kinda dead, but I don't have the money to fix it! I've already taken a loan out, so I don't want to take another one out because last time I did that I couldn't pay it back and they repossessed my truck! I had a mod that let you have a cat in the cab and it was like the bank repossessed them too!

Anywho, I've got to be quick because it's only 10 minutes to midnight and I have my Saturday shift tomorrow so I need to be good and ready for that. As I mentioned I haven't been keeping up with my zzzs and I'm sure that's no good.

I did mean to do the Friday Memes on Friday, but alas... Oh well, I'm sure you can all hold out until tomorrow. ;OP

11:07pm: So in one of their recent updates The Sims 4 finally got around to implementing an auto-save feature, and it saved my butt just now when my game decided to freeze up on me and I had to restart my laptop. I'm seriously relieved because I did a whole bunch of stuff this play session and I would be kicking myself if it had all been lost. Luckily for me, I travelled just before the freeze up, which is when the auto-save happens.

In other news, the air conditioning people were less than helpful, grumble grumble, so the plumber is booked to come next Monday - I have a half day. I hope this won't cost me too much, but what are you gonna do? I can't wash any dishes that might need it at the moment because of the leak. I guess I'm lucky the dishwasher hose outlet thing is underneath the air con pipes otherwise I wouldn't be able to use it either!

I do need to get a new bin though...the other one is probably slightly too big and may be part of the reason the air con hose is leaking, although you'd hope for a tougher more secure set up for a pipe that has water running though it. Grumble grumble.

Also, to digress, I'm convinced that part of the reason my Sims game crashed is because of this damn pain in the ass AI co-pilot key on my keyboard. It's right next to the left arrow key and is stupidly easy to hit, which makes the stupid Co-pilot pop up and minimises whatever you're doing. It's super annoying and there's apparently no way to turn it off, which I might have mentioned before, but it's worth mentioning again because it really gives me the shits.

Anywho, I've been staying up waaaay too late these past few nights so I better wrap this up before I start regretting all my choices :OP

11:18pm: Haha that's just me trying to make a fun pun, my sink is still acting weird...and I'm pretty sure it's the air conditioner piping, but not because of the air con per se - because I'm running it right now on de-humidifier mode and there's no water. But, when I turn on the sink tap and let the water from it run down the drain I can see it escaping from around where the air con pipe is.

Which makes me wonder...do I call the plumber then? Or the air conditioning people? I was going to call Mum and ask about this, but I totally forgot. I guess I'll do that tomorrow morning.

In other news, even though that time o' the month has past my knees hurt, which is unusual and you know painful.

In other news, I managed to get a PB in archery today, hooray! Still no classification though, which is rather irritating, but as another member assured me, I'm getting closer. It's those random fours and misses that bite me in the butt.

Oh! And I was a little late to the field for set up, but it wasn't too bad, because I don't actually have keys to get into the equipment room, or indeed the field. I'm not sure I helped enough, but I gave it a go so what can you do? I did help some new members with their target though, so go me!

Sunday Roast at the parentals with the little bro went well, today was roast lamb, most delicious! The after lunch ice cream was yummy too - although there was nuts on it, but what can you do?

Another weird thing going on, is Mum and Dad are trying to cancel a streaming subscription they have, but I could not for the life of me help them do so. It seemed they'd already cancelled it, but Mum didn't remember cancelling it...and it was in Dad's name, but then he didn't have a separate account from Mum's so who the Hell knows what was going on there. Also, they don't have a way to speak with a human on the telephone - I apparently got an actual human on chat, but I somewhat doubt it because they were absolutely no help with this bizarre issue where even after signing out and going to a different phone and internet browser I was still on the same 'chat' and apparently, they couldn't help with that.

Grumble, grumble.

Anywho, I was finally going to do the Meme, but I haven't done my word puzzles or Duolingo yet so I better go do that now.

11:36pm: OK, that's probably too dramatic, but yesterday evening after doing some washing up in the sink and letting the water out I discovered a puddle in front of the sink cabinet. Now this has happened before but I figured it was from the air conditioner and I got some special waterproof tape, and when I used the air con on Monday there was no puddle so I figured I'd fixed the problem, at least until the air con inspection can happen.

But now it looks like it's the actually sink pipe...well shit. I asked Mum if she could recommend a plumber, but alas he's retired. There's the building strata's plumber so I called them and they were available, but it'll cost me 90 bucks just for them to come out and $180+ to fix any issue they find. I have no idea if that's a reasonable amount, but it sure seems steep to me. Especially if the issue is something loose on the pipe and it just needs to tightened, I mean surely I can do that myself. Having said that though, I'm not sure if my toilet seat is as securely fastened as I thought.

I did try an tightening the collar thing on the pipe, it does seem to be a bit loose, but it still seems to be leaking. I think I need a new garbage bin, the one I have only juuust fits so maybe it's done something weird to the pipe.

Well, it's almost midnight, so I better dash.

PS. I did manage to clean the apartment enough that I wasn't totally embarrassed when the fire inspector came and my fire alarm and fire door are in good shape, so that's a worry

11:47pm: Right I really should be in bed, but I wanted to give a little update before heading off.

So, I probably shouldn't have bought those other hinges, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but then I realised that the screw hinge thing on them are slightly narrower, which means the seat doesn't click in properly.

So I've gone back to the old ones, which fortunately seem to be sticking down, seriously though how annoying. At least I got a sausage at the Bunnings sausage sizzle LOL.

In other news it was a public holiday today and the archery club had a fun event called The Resolution Climb which involves a shoot starting at 10m and ending up 90m from the target. I somehow managed to get one arrow on the target at 65m, but in general after 40m it was a hot mess...and sadly I broke another one of my arrows! :O( Poor number 7 hit the wooden stand and the tip ended up getting driven back and shattering the carbon fibre bit. Very sad. I've only got one spare arrow now so I'm gonna need to buy some new ones.

Right I better get going, good thing I've done my Duolingo and Wordle and Waffle so once I brush my teeth I can get my zzzzs.

10:00pm: And that I also have my bow strung, LOL. But yeah! I was on fire so to speak with the shoot today, I got a PB and everything! It was raining this morning, but not too heavily and it cleared up by the start of the shoot so it worked out great :O)

Which reminds me I need to sign up for tomorrow's shoot, although a storm blew in this evening, but I don't think it's raining right now so perhaps it'll be OK.

Another thing that's happening is Daylight Saving starts tomorrow! Huzzah! The one downside, everything's an hour later, so it's actually 11pm now, and also archery starts half an hour earlier during Daylight Saving to avoid the heat in the summer months, so it'll be like getting there an hour and a half earlier, at least as far as tomorrow goes.

Apart from that, not much to report, I did end up going to get the toilet seat hinges from Bunnings and using them on the toilet. Unfortunately, it's still kind of...ajar. So now I'm wondering if I need to go back to the sticky ones which are still kinda sticky so maybe...

Anyway, I thought I had something else to report, but nope - oh wait, I do! Squashington failed a uni subject! I've never seen a Sim fail a subject before (from the streamers I watch), totes awkward. I'm having him re-take the subject, so fingers crossed he can pass this time. It takes a while to get through Uni in the Sims 4 let me tell you.

11:13pm: So I bought the toilet seat (after having no luck yesterday because the Bunnings I went to was a small one and didn't have any D-shaped toilet seats) and bought it home and installed it, but I had a few hiccups and had to move one of the sticky hinge things so I could move it a bit. So now I'm worried that the sticky stuff will no longer be secure as it should be, which means I'll pretty much be in the same situation as I was before with a wriggling toilet seat. I guess I could buy a hinge replacement kit, but I'd feel kind of dumb if I had to do that. Maybe I just should have got a professional in.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I also bought this silicon tape because (and I can't remember if I mentioned it) the water pipe that goes from my air con to the pipe under the sink is leaking. Mum said I should get the air con people in, but I'm not sure how long that might take and the weather's warming up, so you know I'd rather avoid further leaks, because I think it almost messed up my kitchen tile.

In other news, I totally need to clean my house before next Thursday for the fire inspection and you know because I really need to stop living in a total mess, I'm pretty sure it's no good for my brain.

Speaking of which, I better get myself to bed, because my quest to get my sleep back on schedule has not been going according to plan.

11:00pm: Indeed, my eyes are actually sore, although I suppose that's possibly due to hayfever although I didn't really go outside today because the weather is still quite chilly after the change came in on Sunday.

Also I've had a dang headache for hours which truly sucks, I took some ibprofen in the afternoon, but it hasn't really done much. I guess I'll take some before I turn in.

So I don't have much to say...although I think I've belatedly figured out how to change my toilet seat... now I just need to figure out how to get a new toilet seat...or maybe I just need new screws.

Umm...hmmm, well I've done my Duolingo, but not the Wordle or the Waffle, which I should get onto so I can get my zzzs!
