9:38pm: It's the second part of the Monarchy docu, but alas, not much on dear GIII. They're allready onto George IV, sigh! The historians love George IV and Henry VIII even though personally speaking you probably wouldn't want to have lunch with either of those guys. Whereas, I'd enjoy a good dinner with George III, especially since he wouldn't insist on you drinking yourself under the table or eat 60 courses and we can talk about books and stuff!

In other news, I've been trying to do some work on my other ljs teh_ho, one_cooldude, hooked_onb_ball and trendygwendy, all Spider-Man related. Which means if you don't know Spider-Man you probably won't care.

Back to the doco, George III has just died and David Starkey says "Finally came the day he (George IV) had been waiting for" Now hey, Dad might be crazy, but that's a rather heartless way to put it wouldn't you say? When you think about it though, being heir to a throne really must suck because essentially what you're doing is waiting for your parent or relative to die. Hey that's cheerful.

Plus, George IV seems to be a bit of a poseur, wanting to outdo Napeloen all the time, with his coronation, and the buildings, and the spending of money...GIV really should have got himself a hobby or something.

Now we're up to William IV...who is a funny fellow, even less King-like than GIII in his personal life. He liked to go walking in the street, shaking hands and whatnot. He hated pomp and ceremony, so he certainly didn't apperciate all of George IV's stuff. Interesting stuff.

But hmmm...the United Kingdom sure did come close to a French Style Revolution, lucky for Willie IV they didn't!

Hmmm...I guess I should be getting ready for bed, I didn't get enough sleep last night, so I don't want it to catch up on me this week.

Besides I'm sure you're all bored of this history lesson. :O)

Oh, but good news! My boss seemed to be in a much better mood today, with me at least and when I told him about the dent in the car he wasn't mad. Phew!

But I made a goof up at the end of the day, so I'm not looking forward to having to confess to that tomorrow morning...Ah well.

9:40pm: Man, I feel really, really tired...I have no idea why. I'm wondering if it's prehaps my eyes are dry because I had to take some Claritne because my hayfever was having a spaz. That stuff works a little too well, if you ask me.

Anyway, I'm watching that Monarchy program, we haven't got to George III yet...I'm not sure how much this guy is going to go into him since this seems to be mostly a history of events rather than the person of the King.

10 Movies That Disappointed You

1. The Matrix - I got totally the wrong idea about the plot of this movie before seeing it, thinking it would be about parallel universe (which, I suppose technically it was). Beyond that the volume in the theatre was so damn loud it almost killed me.

Uuh that's all I can think of really? Generally, I only see movies I know I'll like (they're expensive after all), so that's the only one that really pissed me off. What a waste of prefectly good money seeing that was.

A few British monarchs have died from rather inauspicious events...William III died from complications after falling off his horse, which must have sucked, but not as bad as how George II died from a heart attack while on the can.

Moose must sleep, because, like I said, I'm tired as Hell. I sure hope my eyes won't be dry and painful tomorrow, because if so I'll be damn annoyed, because that just hurts.

3:00pm: I'm over at my parents house for an extra night because my co-worker Chelsea came into work today and there wasn't any need for two of us at work during this quiet time. So I'm going to work tomorrow for a few hours instead.

The problem with that is My Family is on tonight and I didn't bring the tape (not knowing I'd be here), I've got another tape, but I have to stuff around to dub things and what. Sigh! Them's the breaks I guess.

Also, been over here means I'm lagging behind on the Christmas Meme!

10:10pm: Good news! I don't have to go to the boring Committee meeting and take the minutes after all! Huzzah! I was really dreading it, because seriously, those things are so boring its unbelievable.

I've just been watching an interesting historical drama about Beau Brummell, a man who once hung out with the Prince of Wales, George III's eldest son. Alas, ol' GIII didn't make an appearance since he sure didn't hang out with anyone his son did (and vice versa).

I don't have much else to say about today, went to work, did work stuff etc.

6:07pm: I have just recently returned from my day long library hunt for the Uni assignment. Unfortunately the Uni assignment doesn't actually invole writing down anything I found out, instead I've gotta write out some weird shit about information seeking and stuff. Bah! But now I really want to read the articles on the database, I mean how fun!

I wonder where my nail clippers have got to, I need to cut my toenails, because when I took off my shoes when I got back here there was owww.

So anyway, I woke up this morning when M phoned asking if my little bro had arrived and all that (he had), but I didn't realise until I put on my glasses that all his boxes were here too! They weren't last night, he said a friend brought them over, I hope so, because if he took the car...Seriously, M and Grandpa would kill him and then me.

Here's not here at the moment, I think he's working, but I wonder if I should call him, he should really leave a note. I wonder if he'll be back late, because last night he stayed up after I went to bed and I slept very poorly 'cause he was watching TV and banging around the place (must have been getting the boxes). Can't afford that tomorrow, with work and all.

I can't find the nail clippers, this sucks. Oh wait, here they are, under a pile of books on my table, LOL.

Right, I should be working on the assignment, but while I do that...

12:08am: I forgot to update last night, instead I went to bed at an early time for me, although it turned out to be a big ass waste of time because I ended up waking up at 2am and not being able to get back to sleep until 4! I don't know why...perhaps I'm eating something wrong before I go to sleep? I can't remember if I ate any chocolate last nihgt, I shall avoid it tonight and see what happens.

Anywho! I've been busy with The Sims 2, Seasons is so much fun! But also I was making a house for my Royalty Sims. :O) I downloaded a version of Hampton Court where old George I and George II lived, but cripes it was a big ass thing. It'll take forever to play, so I tried to make a smaller version, but it doesn't quite look right. It's times like this that I want two computers so I can use pictures on the net...I suppose I could just print them out or something.

Now did I do the Tuesday Memes? Apparently not, whoops. Oh well here they all are.

11:19pm: Tonight David Attenbourough's series about the Natural World was on ABC and tonight's show was about the Frozen World, in other words Penguins! Oh they're so cute waddling around the place in their tuxedo like feathers. :O) And I was surprised to discover that lots of stuff from Happy Feet such as the 'singing' and the bunching up for heat thingos are based on facts. Cool. But it was very sad when a group of little chicks got seperated from their group and ended up dying. :O( They were so cute and fluffy! Poor little penguins!

So I've written up a short story, of course the problem is...it's kind of a last minute job, bummer...Well, you can't win if you don't enter I suppose. I'm not sure if it will even be of interest as it's about Queen Charlotte's journey from Germany to England to get married (it's not as dry as it sounds, LOL!) Of course, I kept getting distracted by the fact I've made a Font of Queen Charlotte's handwriting to go with George III's. Unfortunately there's no memeber of the Babysitter's Club who has similiar handwriting to Queen C (snicker, that's got to be the biggest coincidence I've ever seen!), so I had to do it from the ground up. There was difficult due to the fact I'm left handed so half the damn letters were tilted in the wrong direction, but I figured out how to fix that. I think it looks pretty sharp if I do say so myself.

Anyway my stupid hip is playing up again, I think I must be sleeping on it wrong or something, I will take the advice given of WebMD about how to lie and see if that helps. I'll also do some more walking tomorrow, that is to say, I'll actually go out. I was going to go shopping today, but I got distracted and there were good shows on tonight, so I ended up not going.

But yes there will be walking tomorrow! Looking for that Post Box for one, I wonder what I should do if I can't find it...oh well, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I be tired, despite the fact I total overslept today (which is why I ran out of time for shopping), what's with that shit anyway? The body is a pain in the ass I swear.

1. Did you participate in competitive sports as a child? If so, which one(s)?

Well except for the one time I was in a trampolining competition (I can't believe I did that...go me!) nope. Competitive sports aren't my think, team ones paritcularly, because having people scream at me when I do something wrong isn't my idea of a good time.

2. Were there any sports that you wanted to participate in, but could/did not?

Tennis, diving, gymnastics...the first I just suck at, the second I can't do at all and the third I tried to do, but I wasn't very good and with my muscles...well let's just say I can't even touch my toes!

3. Did your High School have a 'good' football team?

We had a rugby team, but I don't know if it was good or not, it was the chick kind of rugby though, where you don't tackle people you just tap them, so it wasn't the biggest of spectator sports.

4. Did you go to high school football games? Why or why not?

Hells no, I didn't go to any of the games, it's not that big of deal. Although, that's probably changing now because there's so many fat kids now. In the old days you were able to stop doing P.E (Gym) in Year 9 (15 years old), so sport wasn't big. The only time you had to go see a sport was the Swimming and Athletics Carnival. Gawd I hated that shit.

5. which was the best in your high school: the Football team, the cheerleaders or the band?

Um, we had no cheerleaders, and football wasn't really football, so it would be the band. We had some very good musicians though.

6. Are you more partial to college football, NFL football, or arena football?

Oh fuck no, first of all I hate football, second of all I don't like stadiums and I sure as Hell ain't gonna go to see a game I don't like or understand.

Nah. Although I heard it can be a bit dangerous to go to a soccer game down here, because for some reason there's a team that's considered to be 'Serbian' and another that's considered to be 'Croation' and there's always a bust up when those two play each other. So I wouldn't go to one of those, if I liked soccer, of course, which I don't. :OP

12:39am: I've been playing Sims 2 though and got a bit carried away...I got Photoshop working again, so I was able to make some nifty jewellery for my Queen Charlotte sim.

Then I went to check out George McFly's mother and her family, who are all going well...I played them for a bit, and probably would have for longer but I woke up early this morning after going to bed late, so yawn!

In other news, I was looking for something to watch an hour ago when I saw Whose Line was on Ch. 9, the newest eps I'm sure! LOL, hilarious stuff! I also saw while watching the ads that there's a big as book and CD sale going on at Darling Harbour tomorrow...oooh, maybe I should head down, I might find something to get my little bro along with the Ferrero Rocheres.

Anywho, I'm to tired to do the Memes, which probably aren't up yet. Also I have to do something about my poor left control key, it's developed two cracks now and I'm sure it's going to break! I'm not sure what I can do though...sticky tape...or glue maybe...but probably not. Damn me, poor key.

9:21pm: I was reading some of the George III books I've got and I noticed that in the 18th century they don't use contractions! Everything is 'we are not here' and 'I do not know that' etc. etc. So I'm in a bit of quandry, it appears that these people don't write them even in casual writing, so...do I write my story with that in mind, or do I just stick the contractions in? I've changed a few, but it all looks so sitled now. Beyond that would people really not use contractions when speaking? If so that must have been a pain in the ass.On the other hand it will sure up the word count, LOL! What say you?

Anywho, as I mentioned last night, I accidentally close my Firefox window and lost all my memes so...

That's all I have to say for now, now that it's like an hour after I started this. I've also screwed up with taping Smallville, I seem to have misplace my tape, god damnit, that's so annoying... I hope that I can find the tape to tape the repeat on at 3am or whenever. I brought four tapes at the beginning of this week and I've somehow used them all all ready! What's the deal with that?

7:19pm: I just called up my friend Zep to ask her to tape The Simpsons because there's still no Channel 10 here and she told me her costume course is currently doing Historical type costumes, they're up to King Henry VII, but in October it'll be George III! Coool. She said I could come a long to the classes and see what's going down, they're at 6pm so even if I do get the job in Lane Cove I should still be able to get to them in time. Although at the current time I was non-committal partly because I was on my mobile (and I keep forgetting it costs megabucks with my brother's plan to call people!) and partly because the lower digestive system remains annoyed. Dad (who I also called) said I should have stayed over there, but it's come to my attention that seeing as Mum and Dad will be going overseas next year for an extended period (gulp!) it's probably best I ride it out, particularly if it's related to anxiety....or my poor eating habits! I make sure to have fruit and bread and stuff, but I suppose if you keep having cheese and chocolate there's bound to be a rebllion at some point.

The Champ is playing for the Lot on Tempatation! And he's looking good! I'm not actually playing because the stomach is distracting me too much, well not exactly, but I like to play at my top form...which has been sadly lacking recently, which brings me to wonder what happens on those shows if someone is unwell. Do they have to leave the show? Do the cancel it for a while? I suppose since the actually film the week's show on one day and in a week in advance they probably just show up another day.

Ooh, he's won! But now they want to tempt to come back for the prizes and the jackpot, wow...he's been really good so far, so it's really very tempting for him because it's not like he's winning by the skin of his death. But still! The pressure! You wouldn't want to lose all that money! How tense...he's just about to make the decision...He's taking the money! Which is probably a good idea since some of the prizes don't actually seem to be that useful...like a washing machine or a couch or something.

But congrats to him! First Champ who wears jeans! LOL!

Now The Simpsons is on! I sure hope Zep is taping it...

Well...I've caught up on my Friends Pages and now...I got nothing to do! Dang.
