10:05pm: So I've been Simming again and I accidentally neglected to check that Doc's father was in the gold before trying to reset his aspiration and he turned into a Grilled Cheese Sim! :OD It was pretty hilarious...then I decided to change him back and things went a little strange and I had to delete him from the lot then reload. When I had, he's aspiration had changed to knowledge, but his lifetime want was still...

In other news, not much, although that assignment result I was talking about has finally come back and I passed yay! Although it was hardly a stellar mark, 62%. Better then a poke in the eye with a burnt stick I suppose.

Q1 - Apprehension: Earlier this week, during a game against the St. Louis Cardinals, a towel-waving Philadelphia Phillies baseball fan gained access to the field where he eluded security while running in circles in the outfield. After just 30 seconds of being on the field, the fan was subdued by a Philadelphia police officer who used a Taser stun gun to bring him down. While many people question the use of a stun gun to bring down a prankster, Major League Baseball players have said it's an appropriate action, because they fear for their safety. What do you think... should stun guns be used to stop the occasional jokester, or should fans entering the field of play during games will be apprehended by team security as they always have (by tackle)?

That's a bit harsh isn't it? Those things can kill people! I find it a little hard to believe they couldn't have subdued him in any other way...They're big burly security personnel. I suppose you could also almost kill the guy that way too. Maybe they can just use a net or something. :OP

Q2 - Loans: In Long Beach, California, the City Council unanimously voted to loan the local Cal Worthington Ford dealership $600,000 so it could keep its doors open and 120 local residents employed. According to news reports, the dealership generates $1.8 million in tax revenue each year and plans to use the loan to finance its expansion plans. Do you think cities or municipalities should lend money to local businesses as they've done in Long Beach, California?

That seems a slightly weird thing to do, it doesn't sound like the company was in trouble or anything...I suppose they were threatening to move or something. Weird... I don't know, it does employ a lot of peoople though. Plus California's in a bad slump at the moment, so keeping jobs is pretty important. I suppose if it's unanimous and there's no sign of people getting paid off.

Gawd, that's a lot of movies...but hey Little Fockers, that's a sequel to Meet the Parents/Fockers, that sounds like fun! Also Shrek 4, I neglected to see in the cinema and rather regret.

Q4 - Humor: On the heels of its decision to censor an episode of "South Park" that included a depiction of the prophet Muhammad, Comedy Central said this week it has a cartoon series about Jesus Christ in the works (apparently, "JC" depicts Christ as a regular guy who moves to New York City to escape his father's enormous shadow). Are you offended by the very notion of this new cartoon series (enough so that you wouldn't watch), or could you care less and/or are actually looking forward to watching "JC" when it airs later this year?

Heh...it's a somewhat amusing premise, I mean yikes who's got a bigger shadow than God! But it does go to show the difference in how people take depictions of their God! Personally I think God has a good sense of humour and as long as it's in good fun. Don't know if I'd watch it though...depends if it was actually funny.

It really depends, sometimes I have a seriously short temper, but it really depends on how the day has been.

I've got no idea...maybe I'd give them a second chance, but not a third, unless there was some SERIOUS mitigating circumstances and I can't think what those would be.

My mother made me an egg and bacon muffin last Sunday, it was very delicious!

This is an interesting police drama I'm watching, though they're still doing the whole Police brutality thing, seriously if I was in the interrogation room and the cop grabbed me by the troat I'd scream like a bandshee and sue their ass.

And fuck me, sudden throwing up scenes, they never warn for this shit, God it pisses me off!

But hey I figured out 'whodunnit' before anyone else on the show did, I guess all those Agatha Christie's have done me good after all.

11:30pm: So I'm reading this huge book I borrowed from the library and when I was picking it up a few minutes ago, one of the pages fell out! I think I must have tugged it or something. Fuck man...it's a brand new book! What if the library wants me to pay for the repair? They charge the shit out of you for that. :O(

I won't be able to find out until Tuesday or even Wednesday because the library will be closed tomorrow and Monday for the ANZAC Day and the Public Holiday.

Sigh...

I've been busy today fooling around with the Sims 2 making new neighbourhoods and whatnot, except one of the apartments I downloaded appeared not to have a roof, so when it started raining more poor Sims couldn't sleep! Oh dear.

Umm...I dunno...always be nice to people? They've brought me up really well, but I can't put it into words, I suck at that sort of thing.

Q2 - Traffic: Have you ever diverted your route because of something you heard on a radio or television traffic report?

Yes! One time there was an accident on the bridge, and there was a huge backup of traffic, so I tried to take the tunnel instead, which took for bloody ever...but still less time then it would have taken to go via the Bridge.

Q3 - Groceries: Do you make a grocery shopping list as you run out of items or notice you're running low, or do you make a list right before leaving to go to the grocery store?

I used to just make the list before I went out and did it, now that I live at home again Dad doesn't the shopping so...yeah I don't need to anymore.

Q4 - Dinner: What did you have for dinner last night and was it fulfilling? If not fulfilling did it at least hold some nutritional value?

But! Other news is at hand, next Tuesday I have an interview, fingers and toes crossed, this is the first interview I've had in like two weeks or something. Also trying to find a part-time job seems to be spectacularly difficult, which is weird seeing as I heard there were more of those jobs at the expensive of full-time ones. I was also faked out by an job ad that was looking for customer service people at Sydney Airport, turned out it was just for the Gloria Jeans there. Alas I have no barista skills or interest it that, airport or no airport. Really, though, they should be more upfront I say.

In other news, I saw Jerry Seinfeld on Letterman last night, he's still hilarious and he's looking quite young. Good to see him again.

1. How has your life been different than you imagined?

Well, I was kinda of hoping not to grow up, but having come to accept that (so to speak) I most definately could have done without the long stretches of unemployment. It sucks! Thank God I've got understanding parents!

2. What lessons have you learned from your relationships?

Don't tell the same joke ten times, don't interrupt and listen to their stories, don't just tell your own.

3. If you had to move to a city besides the one you currently live in, where would you move?

Well, it'd be fun to be in New York for a while, I think! Except I'm a homebody so I'd miss my family too much! Maybe I'd just move to Newcastle or Wollongong or something, which is nearby, LOL.

11:25pm: Restoring all the missing photos in my sims journal that is, those bastards better not disappear again, or I'm going to smack a bitch.

In more interesting news though, tonight was a family dinner to celebrate my sister-in-law being here for a month from Japan. M and Grandpa came and even Chris showed up - late, but hey he made the effort. Mum made a delicious pork roast. Good eating indeed! There was also some strange cake thing for desert which tasted quite good, but I can't remember what it's called.

Anyway, tomorrow I have to call some people to see if I can volunteer for another thing, this time to do with Mary McKillop, who will shortly become Australia's First Saint. I hope it isn't anything too people intensive, like conducting tours about her life or something, because I'm not really with that.

10:27pm: Well, good news! I found this nice download on Mod The Sims that makes my Sims 3 sims look a lot better! I have no idea what the makers were thinking when they went for that...doughy look.

But yeah, I've got two Capt John's in different towns, which is kind of funny...They both seem to be getting on, though!

Right now I'm watching Law & Order: SVU, it's a weird one tonight, wife tosses fry pan at husband, then husband apparently rapes the wife! But it's weird because suddenly the wife gets busted for throwing shit at him and then recants...Crazy shit all around, if you ask me. The husband's found not guilty in the end, but you're not really sure if he it was all a lie or not. So yeah...

11:08pm: I've just sorted out My Sims 2 Torchwood and Nexus pictures into their little folders since I'm going to be posting their adventures up in my Sims 2 Livejournal mooseys_sims, so friend if you're interested in seeing what the little buggers get up to! ;OD

Moving right along, not much happened today in the world of the Nexus, but that's cool because I had to do some driving, at first it looked like I'd have to take Dad and our dog, Roxie to the vet, because Roxie seemed unwell. Mum thought maybe she swallowed a chicken bone, but they decided to wait it out since she didn't look like she was in pain.

Dad seems to think it's her hip, not a chicken bone, but either way I hope she'll be OK, Mum will take her to the vet tomorrow if not.

So yes, I packed up early and came over here to the parentals for that. I drove Dad to church at 3pm (he has to get there early because he's in the band and they need to practice), but I didn't say, in fact I took the week off Church, even though I think it was some important event this week. LOL I should keep track better.

11:58pm: Oh dear once again it looks like I'm going to miss out on a day again, LOL! Oh well, Capt John's been busy, very busy indeed! I played The Sims 2 this evening and there was some good times, except I forgot about The Sims 2 jealousy issues, so when Capt John took his latest date out and Capt Jack was there...LOL there was such a bitch fight! With slapping and everything, oh dear.

Yeah must get that anti-jealous hack before the poor Simmies start murdering each other!

8:56pm: Oh shit, as I've mentioned I've been going to bed late and waking up way too early and it's finally caught up with me. I'm soooo friggin' tired I'm going to have to go to bed early, which is no joke. I'm preparing to turn in around 9:30 in the hopes of catching up on it. Because if there's nothing more the boss hates it's people yawning at work. Which is no doubt annoying.

Aaaaanywaaaay, not much to report except last night I played some Sims 2 yays! Mostly so I could put in Capt Joan Hart (I was inspired by the Nexus (LOL - mirror universe like Red Dwarf)! I've even got the reverse gender Torchwood ready to go (with thanks to Boy!Tosh from the Nexus yet again. :OD

Depends...in the last couple of weeks I've been a spender, baby! (Needed shoes) But usually I try to save.

Barefoot in my apartment since it's always quite hot in here. At my parents during winter I'd keep my shoes on because it's cold in there!
