I should totally be in bed...but after many false starts and hard hours work I've finally put together my Royal Family Sim style!

From left to right: Princess Anne aka The Princess Royal (hmmm...dejavu?), Prince William Augustus, King George I (who totally wouldn't be holding a kid...but that's Sims for ya), George Augustus- later George II and Caroline (who did actually love each other despite the fact GII liked to have some on the side...), Princess Amelia (who lived for like 80 years and played cards every evening for highstakes), Princess Caroline Elizabeth (I have no idea what she got up to...) and GIII's father-to-be, Frederick (who shouldn't even be there because his folks- on GI's orders admitedly-left him in Germany for 14 years while they lived in England...closeknit family huh?)
Yeah I wasn't going to play my Royal Sims that way, but I do so love the generational thing you can do with the Sims 2 so I figured what the Hell? Now I just gotta move Frederick out because like I said, he's in Germany, poor fellow.)
Will I actually play with these Simmies? I better after all the work I put into them!
3X Thursday
Animals
1. What's your favorite animal (This doesn't have to be a mammal, mind you!)? Why?
Hmmm...I've always been particularly fond of the dolphin. They're one of the smartest animals around, they live in the ocean and they always seem to be having a Hell of a lot of fun. :O)
2. If you could come back as any animal, what would it be? Why?
Toss up between the dolphin and a bird of some kind because I've always wanted to be able to fly (I used to have dreams about turning into a bird and flying away all the time). But don't make me choose. :OP
3. As pets, Betta fish live in vases or bowls by themselves. Do you suppose they have stressful lives ever? How so/how not?
My father says he's got a Betta fish...or something of that nature, the girls at school gave it to him. I was worried about it, because it's in a bowl which doesn't have a filter or anything, Dad says the fish can live in a dirty puddle, so it can handle a bowl. In fact I thought it was dead a few times, but nope, it was just sleeping.
Er...anyway to answer your question, I dunno, I assume they're build to live in harsh conditions, so they're probably OK with it.
Bonus Question for Comments: Are you glad your're a human being instead of, say, an amphibian? Why/why not?
Duh! Humans rock man! I mean even the smartest (other) animals in the world (dolphins and chimps) haven't got as far as we have...Imagine having to hunt for food every day and not having a verstaile language like we do. Nah, I like being a homo sapien!

Eating Your Way Through Fiction
1. Do you enjoy books that have cooking or eating scenes in them?
Eh, I don't really care...although the cooking scenes that sometimes pop up in Patricia Cornwall novels can be rather jarring, because they're so detailed and it's a real "Do I care about this?" moment.
2. Have you made or eaten anything that was inspired by a recipe or scene in a book?
Nope, but reading about cakes and icecream always make me hungry for those particular foods, LOL!
Thursday Threesome
::Free Amazon Prime::
Onesome: Free-- isn't always free! What "freebie" have you discovered over the years that really isn't?
Umm...uh...dunno...Free TV channels? Considering how highly addictive those TV shows can be, they're probably behind the laziness and obesity epidemics!
Twosome: Amazon-- It's been a bit since we've done our Amazon Survey: do you use Amazon? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk rock man! :O) I've ordered a few things from them and the mailing service from Amazon.co.uk is particularly good. The price of books here in Aus are quite shocking, it's seriously cheaper to buy a "Very Fine" 2nd hand book from Amazon and get it sent over than to get it in a bookstore here. Like WTF?
Threesome: Prime--Time! Are there any shows you are looking forward to seeing in the Fall lineup on TV? (okay, football counts ).
Eh...aside from the new episdoes of The Simpsons, not really...Is Family Guy coming back? And whatever happened to Malcolm in the Middle, I really want to know!
OK, I better get my ass to bed right now, or else I won't get up tomorrow and I'll miss the RPG! Everyone else will probably be finished and poor George 55 won't have his briefcase back, LOL!
BTW...Photobucket is still being an asshole for my laptop, I take it that no-one else is having a problem? (I know
docsgirl isn't) How odd, I wonder if it's something to do with Australia...or maybe my provider. It's very annoying.
Anywho, good night all!
