10:12pm: So the packing and DVD dubbing continues!

I've cleared the top half of the sideboard which is good because that needed to be done, although I still need to move the rest of the stuff in the cupboard underneath.

As for the DVD dubbing I'm on Strictly Dancing, ah I loved that show so much, although I've just realised why my favourite dancer on it was my favourite dancer. He had attitude, a large nose and a blond mullet. LMAO it's Plushy! :OP Well if Plushy was a hair dresser with a faintly French accent from NSW. I'm so amused!

Although it's occurred to me that since Strictly Dancing came to my attention before Plushy did it might be the other way around! Ha ha that's even funnier. Gotta wonder what ever became of Gabriel and his blond mullet...

What else? Well, I'm rather annoyed that I managed to lose the clip-on holder thing for my fitness tracker. It happened on Saturday and I thought I might have lost the whole thing! So it was quite a relief that I hadn't, but now I've got no clip-on thing so unless I wear the wristband I have to carry the tracker loose in my pocket. Damn. And where am I supposed to put it when I don't have pockets?

And I'm sure you found the above fascinating. :OP

Anyway, I better do a Meme or two, lest I fall completely behind!

Multiples

Do you own multiple copies of any books? Why? Is it the format? Size? Just because you love it?

I do actually! In one case In had three copies of George III: A Personal History one soft cover - that's all dog-eared now and I ended up with two hardcover copies because the first one was the wrong edition with black and white pictures, but it turned out to be expensive to send it back because Australia Post is an ass. But I got the amount I paid refunded. Anyway, I'm back to two copies now. And there's a few other books I have doubles of, like the Harry Potter books hardcover and softcover.

Press

1. In what way are you pressing your luck? Well, I'm probably doing that with the paking to be honest...I should be working at it a bit more, I keep getting distracted!

2. When did you last wield an iron? Last Thursday...or was it Friday? Anyway, one of my duties for Mrs S is to do ironing. The last time I picked up an iron for myself, LOL it's been forever, I hate ironing.

3. Not counting buttons on your computer, tablet, or phone, what was the result the last time you pressed a button? This morning when I pressed the doorbell at Mrs S's place.

4. What was the name of your high school newspaper? We didn't have one...although every so often there'd be a more official kind of pamphlet called Monte Matters.

5. To “press the flesh” means (usually in the context of politics or public relations) to meet and greet as many people as you can, shaking hands and making personal contact. When were you last called upon to press the flesh, and how were you?
Uh...I guess that would have been the pre-Christmas Party with my aunt's fiance's family, hadn't met them before, but I think I acquitted myself well. :OP

Saturday 9

:Sorry (2015):

1) This song is a plea for a second chance. Are you good at forgiving/forgetting? I like to think I am, although fortunately, I haven't had a lot bad stuff happen that needs forgiving and forgetting.

2) Justin asks his girl to "forget this." What have you done/said recently that you wish could just be forgotten? Uh...I'm not sure. Well, I'd like to forget I whacked my shin into the footstool at least if it got rid of the massive bruise.

3) Mr. Bieber says he needs just 6 hours sleep every night. How about you? How much sleep do you require to feel sharp? Well, bully for him. As for me I need about 8, no less than 7.5 though!

4) Justin prefers D&G underwear, which can cost as much as $102/pair. Sam may be crazy, but there's no way she'd spend that much on underwear. What's something you're willing to splurge on? Me neither! That's insane, man! However, I'm willing to splurge on books.

5) He may be picky about underwear but not cuisine. He loves Big Macs. If we were going to McDonald's, what would you order? Well, I don't eat Macca's burgers now that they've changed the cheese, so I'd go with a salad.

6) When it comes to healthier fare, Bieber has told fans he enjoys snacking on bananas and grapes. What do you reach for between meals? Usually it's cheese and chocolate, but I've been trying to do better with fruit.

7) Performing in Germany, Justin Bieber told a girl who approached the stage, "Ich liebe dich” ("I love you") and she fainted. Have you ever fainted? Yes, aaaand it sucked serious ass, I was so dizzy and I felt nauseous and it was hours before I felt better. This was from getting blood drawn...which has left me afraid to donate.

8) As a kid, Justin was teased for being one of the shortest in his class. What do you recall being teased about in school? Hmpf! Pretty much everything, I was a weird kid to be sure...but yeah.

9) Random question: Will you be watching this weekend's Super Bowl? Not American so no, although Mrs S husband watched it and OMG is there always so much stopping and starting in American Football? It's so weird!

Right, better wrap this up, I need to go to bed as soon as I finish dubbing this episode of Strictly Dancing - where incidentally some couple dissed Gabriel and I was all "Oh I will take you down from 12 years in the future!" :OP

So for now, goodnight!

anonymoose_au: (You Get a Job!)
10:29pm: well that's concerning, I'm starting to get a sore wrist, which means I've been on this computer too long. Sigh...gotta get a job.

Speaking of jobs I had to go see the ex-boss today to get that Centrelink form thing signed so I claim benefits. Like that wasn't as awkward as fuck. Why would Centrelink make you do that? Geeze.

Plus there was a section where they had to say why you were fired/let go/left. The ex-boss was nice enough not to put the real reason, but he didn't tick the best box either. I don't look forward to those questions! o.O

Anyway let's have some meme:

"I Want..." Wednesdays

This weeks question is:

What do you want to do dress up as and do for Halloween?

Nothin', although I've been invited along with some other friends to a party, but now that I no longer have my own vehicle and won't be able to leave when I feel like it, I'm not exactly sure I want to go. That's kind of lame though, so I dunno.

In other news I'm dubbing my Strictly Dancing episodes and I'm still not getting the brother and sister pairings. Like doing the tango with your brother?! Ewww.... No-one wants to see that. Especially in dances where you're supposed to go groin to groin.

This was a fabulous series, shame they ended it. Dancing With the Stars is lame. :OP

And that's all I have to say about that. Although funny I should mention the tango, 'cause that's what the brother-sister pair had to do...awkwaaard.

Goodnight all!

Oh dear the poor pedometre is looking very sad in terms of number of steps taken and what not, since at abot 4pm I put on The Sims 2 to see if I could fix the problem Bradley Faulkner was having. First I took out all the downloads...no joy. I tested another house (using a hack to bring the exam forward) and that student did all right, so I went back to the Faulkner house stuck Bradley in the Energiser which worked despite him being in green, figuring maybe his low mood was causing a problem. Nope, still no dice....Finally since the guy had been expressing many a want to influence people and such (despite the fact he was living in a dorm) I figured 'What the Hell' and put him in one. I guess it must have been a problem with the house he was in, because everything worked fine! An A+ and his on the Dean's List. :O) So I continued playing him, because I really want to get him through Uni quick because he's meant to be about six years older than Mircanda.

Currently his a quarter way through Junior Year and I'm trying to get him into the Secret Society, but he's having a bit of a time of it, though he's mostly in gold mood and can harvest his money trees all he wants. :O)

So yes I've played it for about six hours with only a few breaks! Cripes, no wonder my eyeballs hurt. That game sucks you in though...oooh those wiley Simmies!

I've got problems with regards to the car, it's been fixed but the NRMA says I've got to fork over the $850 excess! However I've all ready blown $450 on the repairs all ready, so that's not fair! The problem is, I don't have any proof! The repair shop my mother took the car too went out of business and she doesn't have a reciept. She said I could just sign a Statory Declaration, but I dunno how far that'll go, I mean geeze I could say any old shit.

Oh NO! Oh FUCK! I've just realised I didn't go to Centrelink today! Fuck! I was supposed to, they're really strict about payments! They might cut me off and then I'll have to reapply which will take forever and just be a pain in the ass. Oh fuck crap, damn! I knew I was forgetting something important today, I feel like a dumbass! First thing tomorrow I'll jump in the car and head on down.

Damn...

Monday's Memes )

The Ice Dancing is on right now, it's the Free Program, I'm not to sure what the point is, because they don't seem to be dancing any sort of dance I know of. I was hoping someone might do ice jazz! Because that would be really cool to watch! It'd scrape the crap out of the ice though. But alas no sign of any jazz moves...Bummer. I was going to try and watch Dancing with the Stars since Strictly Dancing isn't coming back (tragedy!), but blah. I wanna see PROFESSIONAL, GOOD dancers dancing, not one professional trying to teach some celebrityb how to do it.

There's also been an obscene lack of tuxedos since the Compulsary program, I'm rather bummed and I feel cheated! Back into the tuxedo my fellows...:O)

8.11pm: Came up with that little reworking of a hilarious Brian Griffin line on the train and just had to put it up here.

I's in the shit here, I went to the library borrowed the book on for my other theory guy, typed up all I got out of it and I'm still 1000 words short, what the Hell am I supposed to do now?

As for my Genre Writing story I think its OK, I've got 3000 words, which I'm sure is the right amount, but I've lot my subject outline and I'm really not sure and I can't get in contact with my friend in that class. I have to fiddle with that damn thing before I send it off, you know spelling and grammar mistakes and crap.

Right now I'm watching Strictly Dancing right now, I missed it last week, most unfortunately...but this one is kicking! Will it be third time lucky for Laura and Artemi who have been on the show three times. But I dunno, they really sucked second round.

I can't believe one couple picked Showtime, what the Hell is that anyway, no-one's been able to figure out that one.

And alas, I'm afraid Laura and Artemi didn't get there and they're looking pretty bummed, oh well, there's always next year! This show kicks major ass!

Well, da-yamn! The Law Revue was damn hilarious...seriously, it was on par with the greatness that is CNN. It was so professional too! Damn those multi-talented law students! :OP They even had a Law and Order spoof, so well done too, the even had the doink! Doink sound effect! Dude, I need to get that souond for my computer! Man, that would rock so much, if ever's there's an error...DOINK! DOINK!

But yeah, utterly hilarious! I almost choked laughing at these sketches...the only time I didn't like it was when they brought out the strobe lights...I hate those things. Also, to be a perfect party-pooper I didn't much care for the making fun of the Pope. Well, actually I didn't mind them making fun of him, except they kept calling him a Nazi, which is rather inaccurate...unless everyone was a Nazi in 1930s and 40s, it was compulsary to join the party. If I remember correctly Ol' Benedict high tailed it out of Germany as soon as he was able. Whatever...actually I was probably more peeved that they didn't bag out the other religions...I mean you know, be fair. :OP

But yes, a great time was had by all, and a nice friend of Ben's called Andrew drove me home, which was much prefable to having to catch a bus. But son of a bitch the University of New South Wales is big! I mean REALLY big, we got lost trying to find the car! Honestly, how many people go to that place?

However, upon arriving home I realised that whilst I remember to set the timer to record Strictly Dancing I didn't change the channel (got distracted with Centrelink) and thus it wasn't recorded. Damn you all! Ah well, ca la vie.

Today our Culture and Technology had to go to the doctor's so class finished early, [livejournal.com profile] _dracaena_ wanted to buy a gift for a friend's 21st and wanted a second and third opinion so Alicia (a girl in the class as well is in my Genre Writing Class) came along with her to Broadway. You know they've got a Dymocks there now! I've got to pop by there at a later date for a look-see.

But we looked around the place and finally settled on something, but not before going to K-Mart, I saw the funniest selection of Spider-Man toys, including a Talking Spidey with the fabulous phrase: Press my left hand to turn me on. Heh heh! Sure wish I had a digital camera...

And even more hilarious was a Spider-Man 4X4 Remote controlled car or something...it looks a lot like an Esclade...LMAO!

I also went to the Work Barbeque, most yummy the sasages where and I had a good talk with the supervisior, she's really interesting and apparently knows a friend of mine, which is just random as Hell!

But most excitingly of all I got my Incredibles t-shirt from Harry/[livejournal.com profile] hansmoleman! It's beautiful! I'm gonna take it over to Cammeray tomorrow and take my picture with it. :O)

In a related question, I must ask Harry...why are you called Harry? I know I've been told, but I can never remember and inquiring minds want to know! :OP

Yeah, so this dude in the US is getting busted for outing an FBI Agent, the annoying thing is the guy's name is Rove, which just happens to be the same name of a very popular TV Entertainmen Show Host here in Australia. So everytime I hear the name I expect to see him on screen rather than some old guy.

In other news, son of a bitch, it looks as if I'm gonna have to forgo HP and the Half-Blood Prince tomorrow due to continuing unwellness. I went out to Coles this evening to get some carrots and stuff, and seriously I'm not up to a two hour wait and a store at 7am in the morning. Particularly since I couldn't sleep worth a damn last night, I tossed and turned for a good hour and then woke up about 6 hours later at 6.40 and couldn't get back to sleep. Ugh!

Well called work at this late stage and got the answering machine...so don't know about that. Also called Borders and they've assured me that my book will be waiting for me whenever I can come in and get it, noice.

However, upon getting to Coles I realised that I'd forgotten to call Centerlink da-yamn! Now I won't get my money 'til Tuesday, but oh well, it's not like I'm going anywhere or buying anything (although I so want my comics collection back! Bah!)

Well, I kind of got distracted and I started this like an hour and a half ago and now I'm watching Strickly Dancing it's Semi-Final Time, whoo! Time for solos, bring it on! :O)

And my little bro has FINALLY got his ass back here just in time for me to have put in another video to tape said Strickly Dancing and to tell me we won't be having IGA sausages for dinner after all...well it's a good thing I got that pie then...

When I started writing this entry and hour and a half ago my back was absolutely killing me, I think the bag I was dragging around today was too heavy, because in that time it's recovered just fine and now I'm enjoying Strictly Dancing. :O) Which was why I was carrying all that stuff in the bag, I had to go back to the parentals to get my tapes for tonight and I'm most excited about the History Channel premiere tonight The Mystery of Flight 191 I hope [livejournal.com profile] msmeg sees this entry before 9.30pm so she can watch it, one of her icons is a pic from the crash sequences. Or if not she has Digital and can tape it when it comes on again at 11.30pm. It's an hour and a half long, whoo! Indepthness! :O)

As for me, I'm going to go and play The Sims again, I've learnt how to replace paintings and pictures in game with my own pics so I can have the McFly's put up a nice little picture of their Family photo in their house. :O)

anonymoose_au: (Annoy me with that Sodding Paperclip)
I should have asked Dad to change the Foxtel box before he went to the movies this evening, I was late getting home and missed the first round of Strictly Dancing, which is depressing! I missed the introductions and everything too. Do'h! What's the point of setting a tape to record if it's not on the correct channel. Most annoying!

Especially since, for the first time a same-sex couple is kicking ass! In the last two series there haven't been much to see in that regard, but these two dudes Alex and Adam rock! :OD They're currently in the lead and I think they'll win!

Even more annoying was the fact that I was late because I was fiddling around with my McFly Family Album only to completely screw it up! I still couldn't get it to upload at all, so I decided to follow some instructions on how to spilt your albums up, so that they weren't so picture heavy. A big mistake however, instead all I did was wipe out the old story and replace it with a new one that doesn't even work! Well, that was dumb...

However, I've copied the whole Storytelling Folder onto a CD and will use www.pics.livejournal.com (or whatever it's called) to make an album that way. I was thinking of making another journal just for my Simmies, but firstly I don't know how much free webspace Photobucket.com offers and secondly signing in and out constantly sounds like it'll be more trouble than it's worth. So, later tonight when I've got most of the story up I'll post a link-especially since one is allowed to make little captions, just like on the Sims2.com.

However, I do wonder why they won't let me upload my album anymore, it's not that much bigger (or is that larger?) than before...but them's the breaks I guess.

8.26pm: The men have won! Huzzah! Oddly enough, it was the dude judge who marked them low on the X-Factor, what is it with that? Very odd...but they're also from Australia, so we've beaten out the Kiwiis! Hee hee!
But I'll have to call Grandpa tomorrow to enquire as to what he thought of the result. I'm sorry to say that he probably stopped watching...Grandpa doesn't care for that sort of thing.

Well, now that it's over I better get outside and get my stuff from the car...my marshmellows etc are in there...ah all those stairs. ;O)

Guess what?!

There's this book I've mentioned previously called The Flying Book, which I've borrowed out from Stanton Libary and failed to return incurring a growing fine I fear. But I wanted a copy of my very own, you see, but since it was printed in England and I'd never seen it in a bookstore I didn't have much hope.

But....
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Here it is! I found it! Not only that, but it was at the Bargin Bookshop at Central, for only $10, oh that ROCKS!

Prehaps God is looking out for me because of the new job...:O)

Speaking of Central I noticed that a Newsagency there is a sign looking for full-timers and casuals, should I apply there or what? On the one hand signs with full-time/casual sometimes suggested they're looking for people who are willing to work for casual rates 40 hours a week or something. On the other hand they're likely to pay more. But if I'm going to try and get a new job should I really go for another newsagency? Eh, seems sort of a waste and having said all that about the pay I can't know for sure they aren't cheap either.

Well, at least I know that my old boss at the Forum will probably still provide me with a good reference because I saw him today when I had them set aside my father's Agatha Christie's bit of a worry though since we're missing four issues and I don't know if I can get them. I'd hate to see Dad's collection incomplete. Although my mother will be annoyed to see it's now up to #70, I could have sworn there were only 56 Crime Books by Agatha Christie, but now I think about it, that doesn't sound right.
Hmm...dear me.

In other news a few days ago I was reading my Power and Inequality Readings and I noticed in a paper by a woman to the Mexican Govt. she mentions that "In no state in the world are women free of violence."

This made me wonder...it's true, but it's also true for men too, so why not try and decrease violence for both genders? I can see a onesided approach pissing people (re. men) off, plus it might be an uphill battle if you don't try and get rid of all violence. After all just not going to War anymore doesn't mean a country is free of violence unfortunately, it's a bit of a narrow view.

What do you dudes (and dudettes) think of this?

Oooh! Strictly Dancing is on now and Paul looks very dapper indeed in his matching red shirt, hankerchief and tie! :O) Not to mention the pinstripes, Paul's the man, I really should get myself to one of the tapings of Strictly Dancing with the parents and Grandparents...if I dress really down and make my hair all messy, Paul might dance with me! :O) (He always picks an oldie or a sad case from the audience ;O)

Once again though they've got siblings dancing, which frankly creeps me out, I mean doing the Tango with your bro? Ewww...

Well damn I've been sitting in my computer chair crooked and now my lower back hurts...darn! I hope this doesn't end up haunting me!

But right off to go and concentrate on the sequins.

Incidently the bro and sister are doing damn well...

Yep, so I've been spending quite a part of the day putting in more Lorraine themed mood icons to even out my set a bit. The Lorraines also insisted up on it, even 1985-A Lorraine!

1985-A Lorraine: There's seven choices of icon for Morose/depressed/crushed and you weren't gonna use me?

Dead George: You even added me!

I decided it was for the best...for my REALLY anxious moments :O)

Old George: You put me in? How nice...

In other news: Smeg! I need my Low Income Health Card so I can go to the doctors and buy my medication without breaking the bank, but despite the fact I've had one for the last year and I took myself down to the Centrelink, they still have to check it out to make sure I'm legit! I could be waiting for weeks before it arrives! And I got some medicine cheap yesterday on the understanding I'd bring the Health Card in quickly...now what am I going to do? This bites!

In other even better news: Strictly Dancing is back! Hooray! Just in time for me to realise that the ABC is working on the satillite, especiallly since as it turns out I did miss The Glasshouse, that bites! Ah well....

Hmmm....what else? Mothing much, I need to go and catch up on my LJ Friends List because I'm far behind again. :O)

It was on last night, my favourite Nikki and Gabriel were there! Hooray! They're just so nifty! And kicked ass in the Semi, I hadn't seen anyone dance as good as they did.

But unfortunately they didn't win this Final! :O(

I wasn't able to watch it last night, because I had to pick my mother up in town despite the fact I was feeling dizzy and whatnot (which I still do now, what the Hell is that? I mean I've eaten, I've had enough fluid, I've gotten like twenty hours sleep in the last two days and I feel like I'm gonna pass out). So I'm watching it now to see how it went down.

Paul McDermott (the host) and the commentators are all dressed up for the Big Finale, I love formal gear!

But oohh, they've got the bitch judge, I've never seen a judge this harsh and these judges are all ready harsh.

But it does look like the two eventual winners are wiping the floor, all ready! At this early stage! They've gotten into 8s all ready! They hardly ever give out 8s!

Oww! Pulling back their hair with a rubber band! Do these women remember the horrors this can cause? I used a rubber band in my hair once, and pulled out chunks of it when the time came to take it out, I cannot tell you to avoid it enough.

I don't believe it! The winning couple are dancing the Jive, but they've nicked Nikki and Gabriel's Jive! Hey rip off! I didn't think you could do that! That's just weird. Well, I guess it wasn't exactly the same, but it was pretty close. Hmmm...I suppose there's only so many ways to do the Jive. It wasn't as good as Nikki and Gabriel's semi-final Jive anyway. :O)
But they even went with the sailor theme as well (yes, yes common theme, but still)!

Hooray! Costume change for Nikki and Gabriel right in the middle of the performance! They're the masters of the art, even though the first time they did it, they wacked a judge!

Most of these guys have great butts too, always a bonus! ;O)

And WTF 8.9 for Csaba and Luda's Jive! Were we watching the same Jive? I guess the judges wouldn't remember Nicole and Gabrielle's Jive and I suppose it wouldn't count, but man their's would have kicked Csaba and Luda Jive's ass. People these days...they've got a good Hip-Hop though.

The Hip-Hop and Funk sections are damn funny, it's seriously sad to watch, particualarly that time they had the over forty five couple dancing and they had to come out with the backwards caps and whatnot and do the whole 'Hey, dude' thing. :OD

Not enough breakdancing for that catergory, I don't blame 'em I would throw myself on the floor and do that stuff unless I was trained by professionals.

People are complaining that Gabriel is always doing his hair, but he IS a hairdresser, further more he's got really nice hair.

Owww, spilts! I hate watching spilts, it's just painful, I can't do a spilt at ALL, I've mentioned that the old man in my stretch class is more limber than I am so they you go.

Ah Lex the Commentator, he's a funny man...with his 'tude, which has remained unmentioned thus far :O( and his chicken-bone in the throat theory, you know for those weird dips dancers always do. :OD

A Jive for the Jive-Masters! They're good with the lifts you see and youv'e gotta have those.

But yo've got to give Csaba (pronuced Chuba for some reason) and Luda credit for their Coktail Sumba, they've got their Dancing legs on.

But hey! 8.5 for The Jive-Masters? I say nay!

There's also something wrong with my tape format, it's cutting off the scores so I can't tell how close it is, or isn't...and I don't think it was the way I set the tape either.

But yay! Tango! I love Tango! And of course the 'Tango Legs'! Luda and Csaba made a good choice with the white though, white always catches the eye.

The Cha-cha is the dance my parents claim to know, but they sure don't dance any of the steps the Strictly Dancers do...But dear me, poor Nikki and Gabriel seem to be falling down on the job, I blame the tan clothing...being in Tan House in school I can tell you it's a shit colour- pun intended.

Aha! All is revealed! Csaba put Luda in a suitcase- yes a suitcase (a friend of mine did that once, so it is possible) and then let her out on the dance floor, not a costume change but a scene stealer. good idea too! Although claustophobia could be an issue.

But Gabriel's got the face acting! You shouldn't deny the face-acting, there was this poor couple who spent the whole time counting, which didn't go down too well. And they even wore white and stuff.

But it's good to see so much Jive! And wow! The young couple kicked ASS! 9.1! Despite lack of lifts but geeze man! Those kids had the legs going mad! And it's all in the legs you know!

But I can't see the friggin' scores properly! Hello!

But it's a little funny to see the westie dude from last week, this dude is a bit up himself and seemed to think he'd kick ass tonight, but...nope.

But Nikki and Gabriel came Second! And you know the old ryhme...I do hope to see those two next season. :O) But I'm still thinking their Jive didn't deserve the score it got, it wasn't very energetic at all! And they get five thousand bucks for Talent Development, do they make sure it's spent on Talent? Or could you nick off to the Bahama's with it?

Hey! The women get to hold flowers and the blokes get to hold the prizes! (If any, the poor 4th place guys didn't get any money.) Ah the unfairness.

But I shall keep my dnace card free for next year!

The HATS

Oh excitement! Strictly Dancing is on, and not only do they have Jesus, or rather the judge who's last name happens to be that...they have HATS! Cool gangsta hats!

Just last week I was at the Ball where there were many hats, including one guy who won the 'Best Dressed Male' Award with a black hat with a purple ribbon and feather. Nifty!

However, I find they're Tangoes not...Tangoey enough, I swear our French Friend Gabrielle and partner are gonna win- they were the BEST! :O)

Where's the 'tude! As Lex would say? ;O)

Nice pants though- shiny.

I'd still like to see those Judges do a dance- seriously just standing their looking stern and sometimes rippin' the crap off dancers. I like to know my Judges can acutally DO what is they're judging reasonably well.

I'm restless, I haven't found any surveys to do on the net and I haven't written up my story yet- must research the 50s a little more, as I absloutely HATE anachronisms.

Hey they can Salsa these couples and there appears to be some flapper clothes out there- interesting and WOW! I'd love to get some of those red elbow length gloves! Sweeet!

But dear me they can't Jive worth a damn compared to Frenchie Gabrielle and partner-seriously they kicke ass! I'm glad I got that one on tape!

Eh still bored...going off to hunt some interesting stuff on the net.

Aesthete

Hmm, sounds like me indeed, but what kind of word is Aesthete? One of those big words that basically means something simple like 'Dreamy.'

Anywho, anyone see 'Strictly Dancing' last night? That was so cool! I love that Gabrille guy he's so funny! And wow great costumes they had too, except when he accidently hit the judge on the face. Ah well, they're only human.

Also loved the 'Glasshouse', Dave is the funniest man on Earth, a friend and I went and saw him last year at the Enmore Theatre and I practically wet my pants it was that good, lots of 'F' words, but what the f-.

Yeah so, this is my life- oh I was at my Grandma's (M) and Grandpa's last night and Thrusday that was heaps of fun, but Ihad absloutely NO luck in beating M in Canasta-I swear God mustn't have been watching.

Am very glad I don't live in that area normally, it was a total BITCH getting to UTS from Harboard, well OK, it wasn't THAT bad, but I had to get up really early and it was FREEZING outside I thought my fingers would fall off!

Speaking of which NO LUCK getting into a Writing Subject, but the class I have on Tueday which I'm not sure I even LIKE is taught by this woman who I saw in the news and the paper lately! Wow, neat although she was bashing that 'Role of Women' thing the Pope said. Personally I'm not sure what it said, but I heard part of it was women should 'wait and watch'- for what I ask?

I also have Gender, Power and Equality, say do you think gender's a totally social thing made up by the awful Patiarchy to oppress us all- or do you think Biology really does give us some traits?

Also I'm taking Pyschology now that's heaps of fun, but I take issue with people who have 'psychological' problems been described as 'deviant', isn't that something that more adequently describes Paedophiles or the like? Also the lecturer had a dim view of using drugs to treat the problem- well geeze I'm just a lazy arse who can't be bothered to go throuh Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. But actually come to think of it changing though patterns really does work, but in the mean time...
What's your opinion on getting your extra serotonian from a pill?

Bah! Nothing more to say, but all answers to these deeply Philosophic Questions would be greatly apperciated.
