10:42pm: Well, I do...my lower leg muscles, especially the right one...wearing my high heel sandals yesterday and doing all that walking around was apparently a big mistake. Aw, fuck. It's really made cleaning up my room impossible because going up and down stairs really hurts.

This also means I've been sitting up here on my laptop for waaay too long and my eyes are hurting - I did go out today actually, to my IPL treatment thing and even did quite a bit of walking...which probably wasn't a good plan now I think of it. Still,it doesn't really hurt walking or whatever on flat surfaces.

I also don't have much else to say...I'm watching I Shouldn't Be Alive right now...oh man, these three guys have decided to go hiking in some dangerous ass canyon and you know it's going to go pearshaped (ahem obvious statement is obvious). I think I may have seen this one, there's a cave in and one of them has to cut his own hand off or something.

Honestly though, ignoring the GPS...why bother bringing it along?! Just watching this is making my legs ache in sympathy.

So yeah...got nothing more to say...I really need to work on making these entries more interesting, LOL.

Oh...did you hear? Apparently some of the families of the people on the Malaysian Airlines plane were informed that 'all hope has been lost of finding anyone alive' by SMS?! WTF?! Why would anyone think that was an acceptable way to inform anyone of something like that? Everything that's happened since the plane disappeared has been one giant fuck-up...

And I'm sleepy because my parents managed to wake me up at some stupid hour, I should really close my door.

9:40pm: In a brilliant move of dumbassery I managed to burn myself on the microwave. And yes it damn well hurts and it's also left a mark.

Not to mention the rather embarrassing stuff up I made the last time I was at work, I was asked to water the plants, which I did, but somehow I forgot to to turn the hose off at the tap! Only at the hose itself.

So basically when the boss's son came in there was water everywhere in the bottom room! (But no water on the second level, I don't know how that works...) I managed to clean the rest of it up, but still yikes! I also had to water the plants today, but I made doubly sure I turned the hose off!

Anyway, not much else to report so here's some memes:

Uh...I dunno, really... I don't use salt or pepper with my food, or salad dressing or any spices...which I supposed would be considered kinda weird.

LOL no way! Oh wait, except for a story and it's around somewhere.

How easy or difficult is it for you to say you're sorry?

Depends what it's for...I find it easier to apologise for big things than little things actually, because little things seem more likely to be unintended and accidental, so like you should be sorry, but not on your knees begging.

10:51pm: Yep, it was a good old lazy day today...well except for when I went out to Coles and then Woolies to get more cupcake pans. The ones from Coles turned out to be too big, which is why I had to go to Woolies and alas, in doing so I gave myself a blister. Stupid shoes! M gave them too me and they fitted just fine on Christmas Day. Don't you hate it when shit like that happens?

So yes! I've got like 35 cupcakes ready for tomorrow and will be going with the grandparents up to the boss's new place, but I figure I'll swing by Chatswood on the way and see if I can finally use that Phantom Zone gift card Zep and Ben got me for my birthday, it's gonna run expire in February!

Oh and Happy Birthday to docsgirl 'cause I won't be able to say so in person (er, in IM at least). May all your Docs come true. ;O)

Almost half way throough and it's almost a week to the middle of the month! Which probably means I'll have to take a few days off and make up the story in my head, so I can rest up this wrist of mine, I'm quite concerned about it, I mean I don't want to develop carpal tunnel or something.

10:16pm: So the Indonesian Government has announced that the the Bali Bombers will be executed by firing squad early next month.

As an ardent anti-death penalty person, I feel compelled to send an objection to the Indonesian Government, because even though those bastards did the worst thing, you don't have much cred it you only speak out against the death penalty for some people when you're against it on the whole.

Although I can't seem to find who to write to on the Amnesty International website, which is lame, I suppose I'll just have to do original research.

In other news, I've written too much longhand and now my wrist hurts...son of an ass! You may well ask why I'm writing longhand if it ends up busting my wrist, to answer I just really want to write this out longhand.

So Air Crash Investigation is on, another ep I haven't seen, I'd wished that bring this out on DVD, it's a great show!

This reminds me though, I should probably get a Foxtel man to come out and look at my connection because this vertical hold problem is really giving me the shits. I really can't figure it out though because it doesn't appear on my tapes when I play them back...How does that make sense? That would indicate that it's the Box, but the Box plugs directly into the VCR. It can't be the TV because the video would be affected too.

Weird shit.

10:11pm: The Mood Theme is completed as I've always envisioned - with 132 different pictures for all the moods. Sweeet! Of course, I've made them a bit bigger, I hope they don't overwhelm you who don't have high resolution moniters.

Moving on, the lower abdominal area continued to annoy today, but it's thankfully settled down, I think it might be that stupid "mittlzemertz" thing, damn you womanly cycle, damn you to Hell.

I have good news, my tongue is starting to clear up! Thank God, because I was beginning to wonder what the Hell it could be if not Oral Thrush. I kinda keep forgetting to take doses, you're meant to take it 4 times a day after food. But I don't have four meals anymore...plus I keep leaving it in the car...Well, whatever, you can only do your best.

Phew, it's getting warm here in the apartment, I may have to turn on the air-con before I got to bed, which I should do since I didn't get to bed until late last night because my mother was working on her laptop in my old room until midnight!

In other news, this sourdough bread is going all right, except it's so small it got stuck in the toaster and I burnt my thumb getting out. Bah humbugs to that!

Also, Cold Case has returned! But so has Good News Week, they're on different channel one after the other and because TV stations can't run on time anymore I missed the first few minutes of the sooner, pain in the butt there.

8:28pm: First courtsey of foxywriter bizarre You Tube video of what appears to be some sort of Back to the Future video game. If anyone can figure out what the Hell it's about do drop us a line, because at present it's a huge mystery.

Second - This intriguing Wikipedia-like site "Fandom History", specifically the BTTF entry. I do like the headings and what not "Kerfuffle" and "The Big Enchiladettes". Amusing.

Third - While I was down in the Box Thing looking for one of my notebooks (which turned out to be in a bag right here in my apartment - I'm a winnar), I recalled I have a heap of floppy disks (old school!) with unfinished BTTF fanfics on them. Now, I don't have a floppy disk drive anymore, but fortunately, two of the computers at my work place so I was able to get a few of them onto my memory stick and find a program to open them with (for some reason the Writing program I used saved them as some weirdass file type).

And I tells ya, these fanfics of mine make for bizarre reading:

In one George is investigating the mysterious disappearance of twenty people over a twenty year period from a cliff near Hill Valley. Doubtless this was written during my interest in crime stories. Dave ends up disappearing - a victim of the mystery (ooooh)? Any impact this story might have is negated by the fact I repeat myself like 40 times. Also I describe what everyone's wearing...

Another tells the story of how Marty and Jennifer meet and start going out. Jennifer's the new girl in town hoping to turn over a new leaf from a rebellious life of boozing or something (this includes a bizarre section where Jennifer tells the entire class about her crazy life of rebellion). Things get messy when Linda, on a bet from her friends (all of whom have bizarre names), sets out to set up Jennifer with her ex-boyfriend, the hilariously misspelled Fredick. The prize if Linda wins the bet is her friend's new top of the line hair dryer (is that the best thing I could think of?) I quite like the premise of this one, I must say.

Finally another one that has promise is a story from Lorraine's point of view about a year in her life. However, I can only find the last half of it, which is a shame. Also, I used to think Milton was a lot younger than he is in canon (I made him more like 11 rather than 5 years younger than Lorraine), so I'd have to rewrite it anyway. Although from the looks of it, I all ready started reworking it, there's still a lot of things that read wrong since I didn't have a grasp on the character.

But yes it's very amusing to look at your old stories, although most of them are so embarrassing I can hardly read 'em, LOL.

Anywho...I want to go play Sims 2, so I'll meme and run:

7:35pm: I decided to make some spagetti sauce (which also doubles as lasagne sauce) tonight, and all went very well until I accidentally spilt boiling water on my right index finger. It burns and buurns!

I've wrapped it in a wash cloth, but it makes it a bitch to type.
