10:36pm: Of Family Guy! This is second copy I got because the first one went strangely missing. My little bro borrowed it months and months ago, we have no idea what happened to it.

But anwyay, he must have borrowed it before I got a chance to watch it, because I totally haven't seen any of these episodes! Except for one.

But I LOL...

In other news, I'm worried because I haven't been able to get onto the Recuritment people, I called the woman today but she was on the phone to someone else so I left my number, but they never called me back. I'll have to try again tomorrow, I don't want them to think I'm not interested in this job!

This is more important than ever because the boss mentioned to me today that he doesn't usually hire people from this side of the Bridge, which this week has amply demonstrated I've been late twice! He's not like my other boss, but no-one likes a late employee! Gulp.

Hmm...there appears to be something in this apartment that's aggravating my nose, I have no idea what, but I'm obviously going to to have to vacuum tomorrow before I go to the library.

Speaking of which, I've made cupcakes! Which I hope will be well recieved and also apologise for the screw up with the books last week.

And whoops, I never called Vinnies about not coming in last week. Fail. I wonder if I should bother to do so tomorrow since, it's kind of obvious now that I didn't come in. LOL.

Well, I better be off, so there's not a repeat of last week with the oversleeping!

8:58pm: Oh man that Family Guy segement cracks me up so much! Hi-freaking-larious! Alas the clip does not show the animation, I don't know what that's all about.

I've just finished making cupcakes for the get-together tomorrow, although once again I kind of managed to over cook them, which sucks. But I'm sure they'll taste just great once I put the icing on, and I've got a second batch in the oven, so hopefully they'll turn out OK.

In other news I have to go out and move my car somewhere because they're repaving the street or whatever tomorrow and are starting at 6:30am! I'm not getting up that early.

Oh goody, the second batch of cupcakes are done and they're not as dry, good-oh!

11:48pm: I didn't end up updating last night because...er...I was lazy and this own't be much of an update either because I had to give the LCD computer screen Dad lent me back to him and now I'm using an old school CRT screen, which apart from having really bad resolution is also hard on the eyeballs.

Anywho! I have just returned from the Get Together, which was fun although it sure is quite a hike out! Also, I ate way too many nuggets and too fast and had a bit of a stomachache. That was also because I laughed so hard at the Family Guy movie Blue Harvest, unfortunately I missed the first half, must purchase that one, although I can't really afford that nice Collectors Edition with the t-shirt and everything.

Then though they wanted to watch some other movies, now my friends and I get on (duh), but we have completely different ideas on what consitutes a good movie. I like stuff like Bridget Jones's Diary, they like Saw III and weird shit like that.

I ended up reading Spider-Man 3, while the watched that new serial killer who kills other serial killers Dexter. So, yeah I'm sure that was rude, but hey they don't mind.

I wonder how long the rest of the friends are going to stay, bookscorpion and I had to leave a bit earlier because bookscorpion has something on tomorrow.

Well, I shan't do the memes, because I'm rather tired (I actually had to have a nap today!). But I'll be on that tomorrow.

In other news, look at the time! I've spent all day watching Simpsons and Family Guy commentaries on DVD, I feel so bad...! I mean, it's the weekend, the sun is out, etc. etc. I really should have agreed to meet Mum, she called me up to say she was driving through this area, but then again, the apartment is still a messy and there's really no cafe to go to. (Mum likes going to cafes.)

In other news I'm also a bit worried about the Family Guy DVD becaus when it comes to playing the end of Holy Crap the DVD starts skipping like mad. It doesn't happen with any of the other eps, and I've cleaned the DVD and expected it closely and their doesn't seem to be any scratches, so I don't get what the deal is. However, since I brought it at Chatswood if I want to return it it'll be a long haul. I suppose I could pop in after work sometime, but still what a pain in the ass.

Yesterday I finally figured out how you're meant to open the bonnet of the car, turns out not only do you have to pull the latch but you've got to reach under the bonnet and release some sort of switch. What a pain in the ass, I mean apparently it's so the bonnet doesn't fly up, but really if you're dumb enough to reach all the way down to pull the latch while you're driving you deserve to have it fly up!

And it turned out it was almost completely empty of oil, which makes me wonder where did it all go? Did it evapourate? Well, it sounds much better now, although while I was trying to relase the under ponnet switch I scrapped my hand, so now it got one of those gross scabs on it, but that's probably before the best, because before it was hurting whenever I brushed against anything.

Well, I've just taken a shower since I've been in my pjs this whole time...and ow, seems getting water on the scrape hurts. How annoying...well it's stopped stinging at least.

Anyway, that's all I've got to say for now. So, off I go!

It's true! I was wondering what people were bitching about in the Sydney Morning Herald the other day, bu tnow it has become clear, instead of putting ads at the end of the show like they used to, they're gonna stick two one minute slots in each program. This sucks! SBS News has always been about no ads interrupting your intake of World News. Now the ABC will be the only news with no ads...and they have this weird thing where they suddenly bring up the name of the program in the middle of the show, like you'd forget what you were watching.

Hey! New Family Guy episodes on Ch. 7! Why was I left uninformed! That ain't cool...luckily it's just started...I've been trying to download them from The Pirate Bay but they just haven't been showing up! Tsk tsk. :O)

Err...sit and wonder what the Hell is going on...and think to myself "I'm just your memory...I can't give you any new information."

Um, I have no idea what to do with Iraq, the problem is really that Iraqis don't trust the Americans too much (you can't really blame 'em after the end of the 1st Gulf Wall, that was shit thing to do), but what to do about it. I'll tell you what they shouldn't do, cover up atrocities. :Oo

3. One could argue that the USA has it's priorities all mixed up. What's one issue that you think we should pay attention to that we are not, or are not giving enough attention to? Why?

I don't live in the US...but I really think they should try for the Universal Healthcare...they're seems to be a lot of problems in the US because people can't get access to the health care they need.

Nope, Grandpa and my brothers did once, they actually caught something too! I think my Grandma had to clean them...poor Grandma! It was a good fish though!

Nope, it's just coming in to Winter here, so no summer holidays for at least six months...no visitors either...although I've got to go down and see M and Grandpa...haven't seen 'em in weeks!

4:40pm: And they make it so hard for you! First of all, when I went to bed last night my download of Family Guy wasn't even half way, so I left it on, only to find it had hardly moved at all! And at that point I realised that the title of it indicated that it wasn't just one episode, but all five of them! God damn! What a waste of twelve hours that was! So I go back to the BitTorrent site to download the other one, which takes forever too!

I go to work two hours ago, figuring it'll be finished by the time I get home, but when I return, the download appears to screwed up! It says it's done, but I can't get to play...so now I'm downloading another one! Pain in the ass. But this one is downloading fast (fingers crossed) so I've got high hopes. :O) It's all ready past 54 percent!

In other news, I've downloaded this hacked object from www.simlogical.com that will let me create my own townies, hopefully this will work and at least I'll have townies appropiately dressed for the time period, I wonder how I can 'replace' them as time goes on, we don't want some 1940s person walking around in the 1960s do we? I'll have to back up the neighbourhood though, just to make sure it's safe since I don't feel like restarting!

Ouch, for some bizarre reason I've got a pain in my chest it must be heartburn or something...owww...that's really not cool. But it seems to be going away now I've eaten some vegetables.

Just gotten back from the Parentals and I finally burned the new Family Guy episode onto my CD so I could bring it over here and then...I misplaced the CD! Aww nuts! I think I must have put them on top of a pile of CDs on the table, CDs that my bro took up to the attic area...so now I have to go back to the Parentals tomorrow to retrieve it. I hope its up there because I looked for it everywhere else and it wasn't to be seen.

Bah! I figure that I'll head on over there tomorrow before 10am or so, and then go back to the Uni to do my papers and go to the Library to do my Reading Reasarch Report thing for next week and get that extra reading I need to do to complete my Report for Thursday. And also while I'm at I should write up what I'm going to do for the big essay for the same subject. Hmmmm...I usually get a lot of work done in the Library, so fingers crossed this will be the case.

Right now the bro is out at a movie and will return at 11.30, perhaps if I go to bed early I'll be asleep before he gets home and on the internet phone. That was I can wake up early tomorrow and not be too rushed. Although I must make a very important note to go to the Darcy Society Meeting tomorrow! I still haven't got my shirt, I sure hope they still have some, otherwise I spent $7 for nothing. And that'd suck since I just had to give my mother 350 bucks for two weeks rent and bill money, I've still got $120 left, which is good! :O) But I still want that t-shirt, it has a lovely Mr. Darcy quote on it, now if I could just locate the sheet of paper with the room and whatever on it. Hmmm...where did I put that?

Anyway since I'm going to work on mooseys_sims tonight, I'll do the Memes now.

Vacation...

1. Where Do You Visit The Most On Vacation?:

Well it used to be Sydney, but now I live here it's more likely to be...er Sydney :O) I don't really like to drive long distances so I usually stay where I am. But once I get to another location I enjoy it. :O) Although Canberra is probably the place I got to second most often (or something?)

2. What's Your Idea Of A Dream Vacation?:

Going to New York, or maybe to a nice tropical island since I like the beach (although I like swimming in the pool), but I really do want to go to New York one day. :O)

3. Ever Been To Disney World or Disneyland?:

Yes! I've been to Disneyland twice! Once in the US, once in France, they were both pretty much the same although the Paris Disneyland was newer. And it also gave us oppoturnity to go on lots of the rides, I don't think that we went on the Small World ride twice, at least I hope not LOL! However, in those days I wasn't afraid of roller coasters and didn't get motion sick so I went in the first carriage on the Space Mountain in the LA Disneyland, ahh how fun! I'm glad I went when I was young, 'cause I'm worse than my father now, even he will go on some roller coasters. I don't want to go on any!

4. What Has Been Your Favorite Vacation So Far?:

When my family and I went 'Around the World' for three months, I missed a term and a half of school :O) (I spent half a term at an English school, a really weird experience I tell you!) We went to LA (Disneyland!), Boston, all around England, Wales and Scotland, and around the top of France (Paris Disneyland!) and then to Hong Kong before we came back home. It rocked! So many experiences! I sure wish I had have kept a good diary of the time. My Dad kept a Travelling Diary of his own, but well it's not very detailed, except for the weather. :OP My big bro kept a diary of his own as well, but pft it's not very interesting either (don't worry he showed it to me! I think...)

5. Have You Taken A Cruise?:

Nope, I thought about going on one to celebrate finishing school, but I don't really like ships although I hear the big ones are stable, although did you hear the latest story about the Norwiegien liner? It was almost knocked over by a huge wave! So I'd really rather not...although a cruise in calmer waters would probably be cool. Just as long as it is a big ship. Even my mother got sea sick on small boat and she loves boats!

10 stupid things you did as a kid

1. Ran body first into a tree during a tag game, I fell over like some cartoon character. Luckily I turned my head away other way otherwise I bet I would have broken my nose.

2.Went on this whole rant about peasants and pheasants while a video camera was running, the sound of my shriekey voice still haunts me today.

3. Kept going past that house with the crazy dog in the yard, even though it had chased me once before. It came after me again and almost took my leg off! :O0

4. Jumped too high on my trampoline and ended up falling on the frame in a very awkard manner (think Sideshow Bob falling onto the pipe in the Springfield Dam episode). Luckily there was no permant damage..and in fact it didn't really hurt.

5. Had a huge fit over a boy slipping and running headlong into the window of my classroom that I was allowed to paint...and not about the possibility that the boy had really hurt himself. I was upset that he'd broke my window!

6. Standing really infield during a T-Ball game and getting a softball right in the crotch! Everyone laughed at me, including my teacher.

7. Emphasising the first syllable in 'Dictionary' in Year Three and getting in deep trouble and ending up been sent out into the hall with the worst bully I've ever encountered. (Bastard)

7 and a half. Set a piece of paper on fire when I was trying to singe it to make it look old for a project. I dropped it on the carpet and I had to stamp on it to put the fire out.

8. Chased after a schoolmate with a stick in my new school, because I thought they had locked me in a ticket booth at the North Sydney Park.

9. Writing an 'anonymous' letter to my Primary School newspaper complaining about the hypocrascy of the school's music teacher and having to be revealed to the principal and getting a good talking to.

10. Conducting a hymn in church whilst at the same school and getting sent to the principal again for inapporiate behaviour.

Hmpf, well that was embarrassing!

Tuesday Twosome

1. Do you have any phobias/fears and if so, what are they?

Yes! And how! Public speaking, throwing up and being all alone without any family near by.

2. Do you believe that everyone is a little prejudice or that there are some people that are truly "pure in heart"?

Hmmm...that's a good question, I think everyone probably does have some prejudices, maybe not racist type ones, but maybe looking-down on certain people a bit. I for one imagine that the people in the Western Suburbs must be pretty bloody bored. Yeah it's not exactly a prejudiced, but it's a rather looking-down type thing. I also don't much respect people who appear on A Current Affair, I think they must be pretty silly...
So yeah, prejudice there...

3. Do you have any insecurities and if so, what are they?

Yes! And how again. "What will I do after Uni?", "Will I get a good job?", "Will I keep in contact with my friends?", "Am I a good writer?" etc. Da-yamn!

4. Are there things in your life you are proud of and if so, what are they?

Yep. Getting a good HSC mark and getting into this Writing Course, being a nice person, living on my own (sort of), my icons and mood icons. ;O)

5. What do you hope for your future and explain?

That I have a decent job and am able to keep writing, that I'll remain fit, that my family will be close by and that'll I'll keep up with my friends and maybe make some new ones (but as I told my mother the other day, I really like my current friends and can't imagine any other ones! :O)

1. Eat earthworm cake OR ladybug ice cream?

Oh dear! I don't like the sound of either yuck yuck yuk! Er will the earthworms be alive (ick), cause if they're not moving I might be able to eat the cake because earthworms probably don't taste like anything, while lady bugs...eww. But seriously, I wouldn't touch either of them with a ten-foot pole!

2. Punch your best friend in the face OR kick one of your parents in the shin?

:OD Oh no! I shouldn't laugh, but that's a bit funny...what a choice! I guess I'd kick one of my parents in the shin, because with my uncoordination I might be able to pass it off as an accident. You definitely couldn't claim that if you punched someone in the face.

3. Have your teeth turn brown OR your finger nails turn yellow?

Fingernails turn yellow I could probably paint over them anyway, but having brown teeth would make me think my teeth were rotting and it would just be really uncomfortable. Hopefully though the nails turning yellow wouldn't indicate some sort of fugual infection, 'cause that'd suck!

4. Wear a tutu over everything OR wear a top hat all the time?

Is the latter supposed to be a punishment?! Because I'd so go for that! Woohoo! A top hat! I love top hats! Having to wear one all the time would be cool...well at least for the first three months...

I'm downloading the new Family Guy Season 4 premiere episode! I know I shouldn't but I will buy the DVD as soon as I'm able...although it just occured to me that since Family Guy is on Free-to-Air it can't really count as stealing. I mean I record TV shows all the time, but I'm not stealing them...

Hmmm...that's a load of my mind, but of course I shall be buying the Season 4 DVD as soon as I'm able...which will probably be quite some time since I'm here in Australia. I'm pretty sure the new Family Guys will not arrive here for quite some time, and once May 1st comes they'll be spoilers on the LJ community and such.

So, yeah, however, since we've overdone our Downloading limit here at Cammeray, it's not downloading as fast as it can, so I'll probably have to wait 'til after Church to see it. :O) Also it didn't give me an option to save to file, I hope this doesn't means I can't save it when it's done. I'd like to show my little bro...his birthday is coming up actually! I'm all ready getting him Season 3 on DVD, maybe I should toss this in just for kicks. Although news is on the street (or from my Dad at least) that his computer is on the fritz...hmm...I guess he could play it on Dad's computer.

Bah! This is me today, but I've taken some cough syrup (ugh! Awful taste!) so I'm hoping my cough will settle down because it makes my throat worse.

Also despite getting 13 hours sleep I've been up for less than four hours and I'm already feeling pretty buggered and such...humbugs!

However, I'm enough on the ball to make this icon of one of my favourite scenes from Family Guy, unfortunately I once again had to cut it down so it could fit...I suppose there's away to compress files to make them smaller, but I'm not sure how to do that. But anyway here's the complete one...



There's actually not that much of a difference...meh.

Meanwhile...um I'm talking to docsgirl always fun :O), also yesterday applescruffs85 mentioned that for April NaNoWriMo is having a mini challenge where you can make up your own word count and write it during that month. Good stuff just what I need to get my butt into gear regarding my story 30 Years is A Long Time to Wait.

Also, the backtothefanfic Community March Challenge is ending soon, so I should try to put something up for that as well.

Well, Doc's Girl has gone off to sleep :O), I meanwhile should go and lie down because...damn me, I'm tired! Zzzzz...
