11:14pm: Well actually it's my knee...stupid thing... I dunno what the deal is with that.

Anyway! I've got my mood theme done, doesn't it look good now with the little 3D button effect? Good oh! Although I've got 106 pictures but there's 132 moods so I've been trying to find some more...but you know you're not likely to find a lot of paintings of angry royalty, LOL!

Anyway! Today we went to see Happy Feet, it was a lot of fun, a lot of singing! And all the penguins, awwww...so cute! I love those penguins! Although I sensed some sort of dislike toward religion or something...werid.

But yes, very good movie and afterwards M took Mum and me out for lunch. I had ham, lettuce and cheese, good stuff! And a side of chips, yum!

Then Mum and I went via the library so I could return the library books I'd dragged to the parentals yesterday (it's only half of them though...) and then I had to sit in the car while Mum looked at second hand cars because she's thinking of trading in our two cars to buy a Prius. Of course I had my emergency book with me so all was well. :O)

7:34pm: I'm a bit concerned, I feel I slept relatively well last night, except when I woke up at 4am to discover the fridge door was partially open (crap!), and I got up at 11:30. However, by about 4pm I was fighting to keep my eyes open. I don't understand!

Granted I was able to go out to the library and check out those books I wanted (not literally because I don't have a Uni Library card). I even walked down to the IGA and got some bread and milk. But I'm still tired!

I hope I don't have some weird virus, although as I understand something like mono has you completely flat on your back and it's not like I can't walk or something.

In other news I forgot to hang up my phone last night and it's out of charge so I wasn' apple to make any calls, and I realised at the Uni Library that Work for the Dole might be on tomorrow! Damn...I can't even remember the number...and the person probably won't be there until 9 so if I waited to call it would take too long for me to get there if I am needed.

Although, it's not excatly the world's hardest volunteer work as I mentioned, last time I didn't really help anyone do anything...

Hmmm...Forensic Files tonight involves the murder of a woman who's husband works at an Abortion Clinic. As such they weren't too popular....I certainly don't agree with abortion, but geeze blowing up clinics and threatening people is disgusting. I tell you there's crazy Fundies evereywhere.

I have to say though, I was rather distressed last night when I found out that there are 90,000 abortions in Australia every year! :Oo That doesn't seem right at all! It seems rather unneccessary...

Hmm, my nose hurts, I've got that stupid staph infection thing again, what's with that? I'm very annoyed...I must dig up my nose cream.

So! What to do tomorrow...should I just go down to the Computer Centre? I suppose I'll have to... Sigh! I really need a job, I applied for one in a Publishing Company that I'm rather excited about, I hope they get back to me!

Oooh neat! New Season of Mythbusters starts on Monday, cool, I love those guys.

Anywho, today I went to the Rare Book Library at Sydney Uni to see if I could get me some of the old books about George III (I have avoided doing this because I tend to get really embarrassed about my obsessions and don't want total strangers to know about them), what fun! Although the book I got was full of those son-of-a-bitch long 's's you know the ones that look like fs? That was a pain in the ass. I'd like to meet the dork who figured that was a good idea...what with there all ready been a similiar looking letter all ready in the alphabet.

What's the biggest physical risk you've ever taken?

Climbing up a tree to do this rope crossing thing, then I got vertigo and was too terrified to go anywhere...eventually I had to jump off (in my harness) so I could get back to the ground. That ones tied with climbing on the garage roof in an attempt to get in through the bathroom window. That was fuckin' scary!

When was the last time you were out of breath?

It's been a while...good for me.

When was the fittest you've ever been?

Probably when I was 8 I used to be able to jump on the trampoline for hoooours. Those were the days...

I guess...having a white Christmas? Last Christmas was an absolutely stinker, phew!

2. What would you be most curious about experiencing if you were able to spend one day as the opposite gender?

Dunno, probably the whole package, would I be taken more seriously, that sort of thing.

3. Would you be able to spend a fixed length of time (such as a month or a year) completely immersed in a culture which did not include the comforts that you're used to?

Probably not, I need the internet! Also it would either be a culture where I'd have to be naked or wearing a burqa or some such, neither of which appeals to me (speaking of which, don't women get hot in those things during the summer?

4. Do you think you would find it easier to deal with being unusually short, or with being unusually tall?

Oooh, I'm tempted to say unusual tall, because I've always wanted to be tall, and clothes these days are cut very long, I have to get every damn thing taken up now a days, pain in the ass.

If you had the opportunity to spend a month living in the shoes of someone that you either don't like or don't respect, just to see if you could gain a better understanding of why they are the way that they are, would you take it? Conversely, if you had the opportunity to put someone of this nature in your shoes for a month for the same reason, would you take it? Ehh...I suppose been Bush or Howard might be interesting...I mean what's with those guys? Why do they do what they do? What are their beliefs and where did they get them and so on. As for spending a month in my shoes, that would probably just give 'em time to sit on their asses doing nothing...although the lack of job does get pretty bad.

7:15pm: Had a bit of a schmoozle at lunch when I decided to see if I could get to Sydney Uni Library and back to work with enough time to do some decent reading (they've got so many wonderful books in there, but I can't afford to join, it's like $200 a year! Not to mention the late fees!). Turns out I can, but I lingered a bit too long and arrived like 10 minutes late! Nobody noticed, and I stayed back to make up the difference, so I think it went OK. Still, I was on time this morning, so returning late from lunch kinda screwed up my image. :OP

After work I decided to go the NSW National Library to look up The Weekly Book Newsletter, I'm still thinking about my future in that department, but it didn't go quite as smoothly as hoped because I got confused and went the wrong way when I left the station at first...But I got to the Library, but alas they couldn't find in the new electronic format. So they're going to search for it and call me up tomorrow. I do hope they get back to me!

That's all I have to say in regards to work and libraries (the National Library was highly deficent in George III info! How lame, I was hoping for some good stuff!), the Simmies or the net (not sure which at the moment) call, so enjoy the survey and memery!

6:09pm: Seriously! I just heard it on the news...how intriguing! And a bit scary...I hope they don't go selling it to China or whatever, as we down here are planning to do (I know, the embarrassment!)

In other news, I've got worries...which I've kind of forgotten just now...damn...hmmm...well I still haven't applied to many jobs, so that's not good...I think I better enroll in that week long course at the Job Find Centre, not next week though because I'm working at the file place on Monday, hmpf took 'em long enough to get around to me!

Perhaps my worries ar related to the fact that I've pissed away a WHOOOLE lot of time figure out the HO and co's timetables and whatnot (thanks martyfan and docsgirl for helping me get a handle on the US Education system.) It's much easier over here what with the term breaks and all..I put the HO and co. on Quartes and Semesters, since spilting the year into Trimesters just proved to be a tremedeous pain in the ass. But yes where I come from when you've down your quarter aka term, you go on a weeks holiday, half the time over there you guys just start the new term right away. Very odd....

But nope, that's not really a worry either...what could it be? LOL, now I get to worry about not worrying! Dude, you know it's bad when you're doing THAT!

Ah yes! I must remember to tape The Chaser's War on Everything, I forgot last week so I had to get if off the net, which takes a lot of time, uses up the bandwidth and I can't type on the comp and watch it at the same time, so I don't like that.

Anyway, the news is still on and they've just shown a woman who is now the holder of this Big World Record, which she got by sailing the wrong way around the world, I find it intersting that these people go out there on the yatch by themselves, I was taught never to go out to sea by yourself! But I guess that's how it goes.

Oh yeah! That's right I was worried I ate too much cheese, I ate a whole packet of Wedges (tsk tsk!), probably because I neglected to have lunch like the dummy I am! But my stomach has not rebelled or anything such thing. Still, I gotta stop eating that stuff so quick! It costs quite a lot besides anything else.

Also, I've got a fine from the Library and a Parking Fine to deal with, do'h! I'm a bit pissed at the library because the book has been due a whole three weeks, God damn! You'd think they'd send the letter sooner...hmpf they're just trying to get money off me I tells you. As for the Parking Fine, I'm quite annoyed about that because it was issued during the week I'd buggered up my knee (again) and I literally could not walk, let alone climb into a car fiddle with the clutch and whatnot. Hmpf I told 'em that and offered to get a Medical Certificate, but no dice. And it's $75! Geeze, is it really necessary to charge so much? It's a balant ploy for moneys I says!

Hmpf...in other news, I've been looking around my Backie friends LJs and once again events are happening that I can't go to because they're all the way in the US! So unfair, the one time they were going to put BTTF on the big screen here, they pulled it at the last minute and all the Aussie Backies (in Sydney at least), got totally screwed over! I don't understand why Universal pulled it! What a bunch of pissers.

Anyway yes, our Prime Minister is over in Canada at the mo, I didn't know they've gone Conservative! I was also intrigued to see they really are part of the Commonwealth, with a House of Commons and everything. Coool, British lookin'! And ooh! They're even wearing the weird English type clothes (well the one the Speaker usually wears), I wonder if the Judges have the wigs?

In other news, a shocking report out of Iraq, it seems some marines went apeshit or something and massacred a town over there. Weak! They killed a young girl's family, right in front of her. What the fuck is that? People are sick!

Hmm, I thought for a while there we were having frankfurts for dinner...but I don't think so...which brings me to another worry so to speak, this morning Mum kicked up a fuss saying there was no milk, so what do I do? Get some milk while I'm getting the cheese to discover...someone else got milk! Do'h! And I don't feel like taking it back...hmm time to get my calicium from another sorce!

Ah, I can't say I agree with Homer on that one...funny though it is. I love books! I've been going around to some of the libraries of which I'm a member looking for stuff to read, mostly history stuff, always been a fan of history (which explains the three history subjects I took in the last two years o' school). Well, when it's not World War I or II, which we did to death.

Yeah, so that's where I've been these past couple o' days...I should be job hunting, but Seek is totally dead at the mo, but it looks like I'll have work on Friday...I hope it's not too hot, it was pretty cool today, but with 2005 the hottest year on record we're probably gonna have some problems this year.

Well, I've stayed up too late again, so I need to get my arse to bed...

Called up Library, but no jobs to be had...crap...called the podiatrist but he can't see me 'til next week, well he could before then but wouldn't you know it I have to work on one day or go to Uni.

Yuk! Work! Five hours means I get a 10 min break I wonder if that'll help my feet...the good news is the podiatrist thinks he can fix it, so here's hoping I get in quick because I've put myself on the Cancellation List so if someone else cancel's I get in. If it's not when I'm at work.

Yeah so what have I done today aside from that, go through all my old LJ Entries and change the icons from my default one to all the new ones I have depending on the theme of the entry. Well, that's productive isn't it!

I've just remembered that I still haven't paid for that Library book I lost like six months ago, I really need to go to Warringah Mall Library and pay for that since, you know I do feel bad about losing it...Libraries they are the future...

Well I didn't actually go to sleep so I still feel pretty tired, instead I just lay down until Dad got out the icecream, but seriously I think he's left it out too long or something because in amongst the nice scoops of icecream there's this werid tasting half-melted, half-frozen stuff, I don't know what the deal is with that...they taste gross though. }:OP. Oh and another thing, I hate it when somebody I would guess it's my little bro puts back the chocolate syrup when it's all ready finished! Why do people do that? It's very annoying.

Gawd, Normal Cable TV sucks ass...especially since they took Unsolved Mysteries off W and put it on Crime and Investigation Network, which I don't get here. I've been flicking through the channels but to no avail there's nothing good on at the moment I'm afraid. The only thing that's coming on is Seconds from Disaster, but I've seen that several times all ready. Right now I'm watching something on the Iraqi War, it's not very fun obviously...Collatrol Damage is a very inadquent word, I mean you know, you've just killed someone there.

Hmmm, considering doing the Legacy Challenge for the Sims 2, but the thing is I generally don't create random Sims, I like to use my Simmies for story purposes, so marrying them off to random townies would just be weird. It would be fun to roll the dice and have a whole grave yard of ghosts...I've never killed off a Sim in my life. At the moment though I've got a Sim I'm supposed to kill off for the sake of a storyline, but I'm not sure I can do that... Which reminds me next time I'm in Newtown I've got to play George and Max because Max got sick with food poisoning and every time I invite the guy over he throws up and messes up the bathroom.

So yeah...

Just seen the Big Bro on the net! It's good to hear from him as he's practicing his Japanese and learning new recipes because usually he just lives on toast :O). He's also found a laptop he wants to buy, but it's expensive as Hell...well that's a shame.

I have three Library-related issues at the moment, first and foremost applying to the job for a Library Assistant, crossing my fingers and praying to God that I get it (oh please!). That is of course if I figure out what exactly I have to send along, to forfil all the requirements.

The other two involve fines- firstly I recieved a notice saying a book that I lost is overdue, now I left this book at Yoga and I was hoping one of the older persons would have found it and sent it back to the Library it came from. I'd actually forgotten about the book because it was so long ago, but no it's still lost so now I gotta call the people up and tell them I need to replace it. I hate paying to replace Library books, they're always obscenely expensive, I once had to fork over $30 for a book that would have only cost $10 in the store, I know they've got all tht processing and stuff, but really? I'm considering buying the book myself taking it to the Library and giving it to them, at least then they won't have to order it in. Unfortunately I don't think it works like that.

The other issue- The Uni Library, I'd forgotten that for an essay I'd borrowed a large number of books, I only remembered this week, I've returned them all, but the late fees incurred have pushed my total to $39, now according to Library Policy anything under $30 is ignored, but anything over and you have to pay the whole ammount or they won't give you your results and maybe won't even let you reenroll 'til you do. This is a bitch because I don't have $40 to just throw at the Uni Library, I'm a poor student! I was going to try and bargain with them today, but the Library wasn't opened when I arrived so I will either have to call 'em or wait 'til Monday.

Right now I'm waiting for my bro to bring back the car so I can go to my parents house for the next few nights, tonight I have to go the church with them because the Bishop (don't know which one...I wonder if it'll be Pell! If I had the courage I'd ask him a couple of questions) is coming to bless the new Stations of the Cross that have being made. My Dad has gone to all this trouble to make sure the hymns can be seen using a Powerpoint Presentation, so they'll have nice backgrounds and stuff, so I hope all goes well.

Aside from that not much to report, I'm going to go off now and research custom content for The Sims 2 I'm trying to do something with one of my family's hair colour and it's not coming along as planned.
