11:19pm: Ah yes a somewhat cryptic subject heading! The first part has to do with a pretty fabulous purchase I made today, which was a pen tablet! It was only $35 and was on sale at Aldi, I had no idea about it (I don't remember seeing it in the sale catalogue...) But I went to the Mona Vale one after work at Mrs S's this morning - I had to exchange the zipper for a smaller one - and there it was. And even more exciting...it's green!

The only downside...it's supposed to come with software you can download, but I couldn't get the download to work, I'd click on the button and...nothing...except the website still registered the clicks and you only get five chances to download the software and I 'used them up' despite, you know, not having a program at the end of it! I've had to send in a help request to the Wacom people, I hope they get back to me. I have no idea why the program wouldn't download, I've download plenty of other stuff tonight.

I did accidentally download a demo version of the program, since I originally went to that website instead of the pen tablet website, so I did my first drawing using that. Although since it's a demo when you save the file it ends up with those "Made with so and so" on it. here's the picture I did. Da Vinci I ain't, but hey it's fun to use!

As for the typing part, I got to work on my NaNo today, I did briefly consider doing a Back to the Future story, it's the 30th Anniversary after all! But I don't actually have an idea right now - I'll have to get back to that. In the meantime I'm going to try and finish that Robotech fan fic, it also happens to be the 30th Anniversary of that show too. LOL.

8:23pm: Well, this isn't the best news for my Robotech fanfic, but ever since watching BTTF last weekend and ressurecting some of my old stories I've been feeling the need to write some BTTF fic.

And what better medium to do it in then my trusty BTTF Flash Fics 88 Table?!

Anywho, I had quite a shock today when I went through my bag and discovered my wallet wasn't there! This means I drove to work and to get lunch and back to my parents and then to work again without a wallet! If I'd been pulled over by a cop I would have been so screwed!

Fortunately, it was here in the apartment, I think it fell out when I was lying on the bed the other morning when I felt unwell and was thinking about not going to work.

Hmmm, right now I'm watching some dumbass criminals...leaving a book on Arson in their house and following what the book says? Good work, guys.

Oh shit, an add just came on for Jeans for Genes Day, I wore the jeans (I usually do to work), but I forgot to make a donation or anything (not that I could without my wallet) and now it's kinda too late 'cause I don't feel like going out. I suppose, I can always buy a pin or something tomorrow, I think they'll still be on sale.

Right, as mentioned I want to play some Sims 2, I just have to figure out what year all my Sims family's are at so I can catch them up.

7:44pm: Hey, I've just realised it's Michael J Fox's birthday today, happy birthday to him! This is also Marty's birthday in my fanfic universe, although usually I don't make character's birthdays as their actors.

In other news, good times were had last night hanging out with the friends. One of them brought over these Question books, you know the ones that have all sorts of weird (and personal) questions in them to spark conversation? LOL, those are always good. Another friend brought some board games, but they were way to nerdy for anyone to know what wa going on there.

I didn't actually have any tacos though, because the meat was too spicy, instead I helped myself to one of the potatoes, it was big ass one let me tell you! I never did finish it. But then I'd filled up on choclate, sweets and chips. :O)

And although he thought he'd be too busy, Ben was there, at least for an hour, so that was fun. Micki showed up as well and I haven't seen her in ages despite the fact she lives not too far away from my parents' house. At least for now.

I didn't leave until 12:30, so it was a big night. :O) I might have stayed longer, but they were going to watch some scary show, and I don't like those things. My friend Zep has a good book collection, I have to say, but one really can't spend all their time at another person's house reading their books.

Anywho, today, I went shopping for new jeans with my mother. I have to wonder though, what's with jeans these days? The colour of them, I mean? They used to be such a nice blue, but I can't find that colour anymore, they all seem to have a grayish tinge. Hmmm, maybe they'll turn a nicer shade when I wash them or something.

Aside from that I've been trying to work on my story, but it hasn't been going to well...I'm not sure where I'm going from here, which is the problem, I should spend time thinking about that first. That's waht I get for not planning ahead.

10:11pm: The Chapter of my story that is...I quite like it as is, but I may be covering old ground with it, doing a bit of a "As You Know Bob" with it. So that being the case I might hold off until I've given it another re-read.

In other news, not much...except I didn't have a proper dinner tonight -gulp- although you should have seen the size of the sandwich I had for lunch, seriously! It was a baguette and so big I had to cut it up into slices so I could actually eat it without out looking like a wild animal gnawing at something, LOL.

Whoops, I just got distracted by a website and have just realised how late it actually is, I gotta get to bed because it's been raining solidly for about two days now and as a result the traffic's rather shitty. I was actually a bit late to work today! Good thing my boss wasn't there because he flips out over stuff like this.

I must say, it's nice to see some rain, but it makes cleaning out the Boss's pool quite difficult, as well as sweeping the paths. There's leaves all over the place.

Yeah, so I actually don't have all that much to report today, although I have to say I'm going nuts over this whole US Presidental Election, OMG it takes them this long to pick whose gonna run? Ugh, I'll say it again I'm glad we don't have that over here. Although Barrack Obama looks like a good politician for once, it'll be interesting to see him in the top job - I'm particularly interested in the whole diplomacy thing with Iran, North Korea et al. Hope that works out.

Right, like I said, I must get to bed.

9:25pm: Indeed, I blame the torrent I downloaded a couple of nights ago, which turned out to be the wrong thing! I swear it was labelled as having 'subtitles' so imagine my annoyance when I found out there wasn't any subtitles! Lame.

In other news, something I downloaded the other week has disappeared, most annoying because I could have sworn I saved it to 'My Documents' but I can't find it anywhere. So now I have to redownload it.

Moving on, I'm trying to post the windup of my Robotech fanfic (I'm hoping to get back to my George III story), but I'm trying to figure out how to do so. I don't want to leave it too open ended, since I plan to continue it, but if I don't well, I'd still want it to be satisifactory.

Oh, and I got my figurine out of its box and set it up and it's nifty! The Japanese really know how to make a figurine, the ones you can buy in Australia/Europe etc always have shitty looking toys. Well at least when I was a kid (LOL, way back when).

I is tired so I should have an early night, especially since yawning is frowned on at work and suppressing one's yawn's really puts pressure on the jaw area. Plus, I have to leave a bit early tomorrow because one of the streets I usually take to get to work is going to be closed, so I have to take another way around. And also get petrol before it goes up in price.

Tonight was a new Simpsons! Season 19, I really liked the opening, that's only the third time they've changed it. The episode was really funny too, Homer, you crack me up. :O) I also noticed they seem to have moved up in the animation, it's a lot more streamlined now and there seems to be some 3D going on, like in Futurama (which reminds me I still haven't watched that DVD of Bender's Big Score). Fun - :O)

Anywho, it's nearly 10:04, so I better turn in.

9:49pm: I've just realised it's probably not a good idea to stick two weddings into you fanfic...Or at least not one that's kinda written to have sappy speeches and shit. I feel kinda silly writing it, but it kinda has to be done.

In other news...not much going on, work today was the usual, although for lunch we had pies! I didn't know the other co-worker approved of pies, but apparently they used to have them once in a while. Which is cool because we're kinda low on the lunch choices right now.

So yeah, not much to say...except I've noticed that the characters from Friends have been showing up in my dreams a lot, which is friggin' weird becaues I really don't watch that show. So it's completely random, although less annoying that the time Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman turned up in a dream of mine (seriously, WTF?).

I was gonna clean my apartment up this evening (I know, I know), but I needed to go shopping first and didn't get back until 6:30pm and then I just got lazy. However, I realised this morning that Michael and Rui won't be here for two weeks (this is one week more than I thought), so there's still time!

I totally need to do something so I can keep my apartment clean once I manage to get it into shape. Writing notes properly won't work with me.

Anywho, better Meme and high tail it I didn't get enough zzz's over the weekend and it's negatively affecting my work performance (what work performance :OP)

10:18pm: At least I think I do, I've noticed that the picture seems to go all skippy sometimes, but lately it's been doing it constantly, which apart from anything else is bloody annoying.

In other news, good day at work, I had to go and show a prespective tenant some of the factories, at first actually it looked like it was going to be just awful! I don't know if it was nerves or that damn Macca's burger, but I still had a stomachache this morning and at the beginning on my way driving to the first factory it felt even worse! I was actually afraid I was going to have to bow out of the whole damn thing. But I managed to feel the fear and do it anyway, or something.

I wonder if the guy will take one of the factories, if he does I'd get a nice bonus! But I'm not too sure. There was a really embarrassing moment though where I scared the shit out of the dude by some lousy driving. I swear, I'm not a bad driver! But yeah I wasn't too sure where I was going so when I saw the turn I was supposed to take I almost took it without stopping to check for oncoming traffic! Fortunately I remembered to and stopped in time, but yeah it was a bit dodgy.

So today was the first work day without Daylight Saving and boy does the end of it suck, what with it being dark by the time I get home, totally lame. But I'll stop complaining now as I'm sure you're all tired of it.

Moving on, at the end of the work day I got a flash of inspiration of how to end the current chapter of my fanfic, so the ball is rolling again. Although I may have to ask little_details about how long it would take a cut muscle to heal, because something happened to my main character and I need to know the anwer to that particular question.

By the way, good news, my shoulder feels fine now! It must have been a one-off or something- cross fingers.

11:08pm: This is a very good question, especially since I have to go to the stupid Strat Meeting tomorrow, if they pull the same crap they did last time I'll really want to shoot myself. Seriously half an hour to decided not to hold the meeting. Forget that.

The reason I'm up is because I was working on an old story of mine, and I got caught up in that and then I missed the Animation Domination on Fox 8 so I'm watching it now two hours later. But I'm feeling rather tired...so I think I'll just leave the tape going.
