Sleeepy...

9:19pm: I really need to empty my recycling bin before I go to bed though, since there's enough space for paper in the bins.
Speaking of sleep, I've had the weirdest dreams the last two nights. On Tuesday, I dreamed I went back to my old school and someone was getting assualted or killed or some shit for information and two of my classmates and I were running around looking for our science class like this was all usual stuff. Say wha-?
In last night's dream I went skiing with
missnickers and
foxywriter except I didn't have any skis so I had to get some, but they didn't come with poles :Oo And typically when I finally did get my skis the damn snow disappeared, that pissed me off.
In other news, a girl I used to school with was in the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday having been named as Social Worker of the Year.
Congrats to her! But I can't imagine doing that kind of stuff or getting into the paper. I mean I don't even have a business card! (Nearly all my friends do)
Well, one day I might be a famous writer...or at least have something published, in the meantime I can be happy that my Robotech fanfic has got such a good response from the readership. I posted Chapter 48 after doing some pruning. Good times, good times.
Tomorrow evening my mother and I are planning to see the new Colin Firth movie, which I just had to look up the name of. And Then She Found Me - which apparently has some Hewbrew in it and thus subtitles, that reminds me that for some strange reason I purchased a Hewbrew Phrase Book planning to use it for a story. I never did though.
OK, I've emptied the recycling bin and am very relieved indeed, now it's time to fill it up with more stuff. I've gotta get this place cleaned up! I've definitely got the makings in my of a compulsive hoarder and as previously mentioned I don't care for being on A Current Affair.
3x Thursday
Your Opinion
1. So, we finally have a Democratic candidate in the U.S.: Barack Obama. What do you think of that? Do you think he can win against John McCain? Why/why not?
I think he will, he's got a lot of support and what seems to be a lot of good ideas, although I was somewhat worried by a comment he made today regarding Iran. Perhaps he is not so willing to talk with them. There are a lot of people who are all "Talk to the Iranians? You can't do that, they're bastards!" Be that as it may, talking to them seems better than flinging warheads around the place.
2. What is your position on illegal drugs?
I got no idea...I mean if tabacco and alcohol are legal despite they're deadliness then why aren't other drugs? Having said that, the illegal ones do seem to have the potential to cause damage a lot more quickly. Like Pot can screw you up if you're seriously depressed and bring on pyschosis and Ice will make you freak out. So...I think they should be illegal, but decrimilised so that if you're busted with them you go into a program rather jail.
3. What do you think of the health care system in the country in which you reside?
It's very good! I can't imagine living in the US where there's no Universal Healthcare. Shocking! I mean you have to pay here, but you get a lot of it back and most medicine is affordable. Although the hospital system seems to be very overcrowded, fortunately I haven't had to go to hospital (knock on wood).

Trends
Have your book-tastes changed over the years? More fiction? Less? Books that are darker and more serious? Lighter and more frivolous? Challenging? Easy? How-to books over novels? Mysteries over Romance?
Hmmm...I don't think so, I generally stay the same, I did actually end up reading some classics though, which I always steered clear of as a kid despite my mother buying me The Classical Adventures Collection with the magazine and the little abridged versions. And Jane Austen, who I was a little leery of, but damn those are good books. :O)
Thursday Threesome
::So, Ya'll like Music, -eh?::
Onesome: So-- what if everyone else does it?!? I'm different and I'm going to do it my way! Heh, what is that for you? ...the peanut butter and banana sandwich? ...tie-dyed seat covers for the car? ...or maybe an unusual sport?
It's sandwich, dude. As for unusual stuff about me, eveything is! :OP I don't drink or go clubbing, I love to go to libraries and read and I just say weird things a lot. But hey, it's working out for me, so I'm rolling on with it. :O)
Twosome: Ya'll-- gonna' be catchin' any big ol' trout this year? ...any fishing people out there on the porch? Hey, even watching on TV counts for something...
Fishing? That seems to have come outta nowhere... and I shall say nope, don't like water and boats very much. Also I don't have much patience so fishing's not for me.
Threesome: "like Music--, like friends": we all have different varieties we listen to from time to time. How about an update on your musical tastes? Go for it!
Well, I recently downloaded War by Edwin Starr and Live to Tell by Madonna, which I've added to my rather eclectic Playlist with Phil Collins, The Beach Boys and Pachbel's Canon among other songs on it.
Right, I better head to bed now, but before I do I better get my Birth Certificate ready for tomorrow and also get together my Stanton Library books so I ccan return them and not get fined like whoa.
It's been a good day I even got some shopping down and had rice for dinner, except I neglected to buy more Stain Remover and washing powder, will have to make sure I do that next time.
And now I bid you all good night.
