10:58pm: OK, LOL, not really, but I was called into work today for three hours because the person who usually works had to go home early. Although my back did start to hurt after only an hour and a half. Weird.

So, yeah extra money, yay! Although I was reminded while listening to the news at work that I need to look at my health insurance, the premiums are going up as of today and I'm thinking of changing providers anyway. Guess I'll have to do that tomorrow...I also have to go to the church to make that one last ditch effort to track down my keys.

Oh! And most exciting news! The International Court has ruled that Japan's "Scientific" whaling in the Antartic Ocean is illegal. Fuck yeah! :OD Seriously Japan...at least have the balls to admit you're killing the whales to eat them, otherwise you need to reassess your scientists, because they suck.

Also today is April Fool's Day! It's also George McFly's 76th birthday, gawd, that's old. Although not as old as my grandparents who I finally remembered to call today (LOL strange segue) about two weeks after they got back from their cruise. They're both well and Grandpa's back out on the golf course - which you know kind of links back to George, LOL.

And now I'm watching I Shouldn't Be Alive, dudes forgot to bring their mobile phones...although as I recall these people seem to get themselves lost in place where a mobile is no help at all. They also forgot to bring jackets, despite the fact they were in Alaska. They were in a plane though so...But as I might have mentioned this show is good research for what not to do so you don't get almost killed if you're out adventuring.

Incidentally, I'm also reminded, don't change your travel plans otherwise if you do get lost people won't know where to look for you!

LOL, on that note, I should be off...I have to get up at a reasonable hour tomorrow because the church opens at like 8am, plus I'm out of things to say.

1:35pm: Well, in the US at least! I was going to update this at 10:04 Pacific Standard Time over in the US but if my calculations are correct that'll be at around 3pm when I'll be at Church for Good Friday.

That being the case, I wish George McFly a Happy 72nd Birthday! Many happy returns and may he steer clear of golf courses. :OP

8:05pm: To George and Lorraine of course, at least in my fanon, as today 12th August is their Wedding date (in 1958) - it's also Biff and Lorraine's Wedding Date in 1973 (because you know that Biff would be that much of a son of a bitch), but there's nothing to celebrate at all there. Just thinking about what Lorraine put up with in the A reality is enough to put me off my dinner.

Anyway, I've putting together some fan art (and prehaps a little Flash Fic if I get enough inspiration), but it's not quite ready yet. Hopefully by the end of this entry (as I go between this update and other stuff).

8:44pm: It's been like two years since I've visited that BTTF Messageboard (both official and unoffical) and after watching the movie last Saturday and looking over some of my old fanfics, I figured "What the Hell" ;O)

The official board is still going rather strong, not sure if the posts are that good but they seem to have moved away from old reliable "Why don't they just get the DeLorean out of the mine 1885" etc.

As for the unoffical board, I found the old RPG thread, which ended aburptly with Doc being dead (which is why Vic's RPG Doc is ghostly) and, as I just realised RPG George stuck in an arm lock. Man, poor RPG George, that's harsh.

In unrelated BTTF news, I've got that damn "Milkshake" song in my head, argh! I hate when I get song's stuck in my head, because they're always the ones I only know like two lines of.

Humbugs!

Anywho, I've also realised I need to go back down to the Box Thing because I took a box out of there last night and you're not supposed to leave them lying around. Also, it's unlocked so I shouldn't leave it like that...

So the Tour de France is over, but the Olympics will be starting on the 8th, I look forward to seeing some Diving and Gymnastics :OD I wonder if Roy and HG will come back, I so like to hear their commentary, heh heh.

I want to play Sims 2, but it's a bit too late in the evening for that, plus as I said I've got to get back down to the Box Thing, I can't really do much with it right now because the recycling bins are full again. Apparently the Owner's Corporation are as successful at solving that problem as they are with getting me to take out my air-conditioner. :OP

I'm watching Antiques Roadshow, I love that show...especially Michael Aspel the presentor. I still regret not been able to get in and meet him when the Roadshow came down under. Laaame!

Huzzah! It's 10:04 pm on 1st of April, so it's my yearly post dedicated to the birthday of my favourite fictional character, George McFly!

George is 68 years old today...ah hard to believe...I wonder what exciting books he has written during since 1985, 'cause you know whatever it is it'll be good. :O)

Because I'm feeling pretty damn lazy and because it actually feels an hour later then it really is (sniff, farewell Daylight Savings!), I didn't make a new collage, but I dusted off this one which I think is still good stuff!



I also won't put the correct time on this entry 'cause that would just mess up the coolness of it. :OP

Anyway, I'll be back later with Memes, but for now let us all hope that George didn't get too many pranks pulled on him this day.

Old George: There was lots of pizza...

Old Lorraine: You ate far too much, you won't be able to rotate your axis for hours yet!

Cool George: Lorrie and I danced the night away!

OctoGeorge: I popped over there too, most unfortunately OckDoc and I tried to arm wrestle and ended up tangled up! Luckily we managed to get out of that allright.

Firstly I'd like to apologise for suddenly disappearing docsgirl, AIM chucked a spaz on me, stupid thing...:OP. And thanks for help with the story! I've put it up on Fanfiction.net too and super-embarrassingly deleted the Phonebooth so had to reupload it. Ah well, what can you do?

In other news shortly after AIM had a spaz I realised horror of horrors, that today is the day I have to get my paysheet in and it was nearly four o'clock!

I wasn't sure when they closed the Finanical Office, so I hurriedly filled out my sheet and raced to the Uni to get it signed...and phew! I made it! Thank God, now I'll have $80 for Foxtel next week...wipes forehead.

As for the title of this entry, well I was at Bi-Lo today and was planning to get some frankfurters, but the line was too long and also, I've all ready had nuggets today so I figured I should go for something healthier. However, I neglected to go to the IGA to get them! Now it's dark out, my bro has the car and I'm not sure I can be bothered to go out there...but I want sausages! :O(

I suppose going for a walk won't kill me...I think I've been on the computer too long because my elbow feels weird, like it's buzzing or some such...disturbing...I hope I'm not getting that tendonitis thing, because that was just stupid.

Ok, the stomach is growling in earnest now...so off I go to get sausages...mmm...sausages...

Oh and pray or send best wishes or whatever to Indonesia, where another earthquake has hit and devestated the country again in the wake of the Tsunami on Boxing Day.

Dear me, I don't remember any earthquakes being up there before...it's a real worry, but keep those people in your thoughts.

I made yet another new icon, only to discover that once again it was a bit too big! Damn! But then I get a brief moment of inspiration, if I shrink the frames a little (from 100 X 100 to 95 X 95)maybe it'll fit.

And it does!

Not only that, but it's barely noticible! Heh, silly me...this means I might be able to fiddle around with my other icons that I had to cut down because they were a little over 40k...but not at the moment, because man I'm so tired.

The reason behind this new icon is that I noticed while looking up the rules for the March challenge on backtothefanfic I noticed its location was listed as Hill Valley, California, so I figured what the hey, I'd take a look and see what sort of LJer would list that as their location.

And I discovered a George McFly Fans LJ Community yourdensity! Although my excitement was somewhat dampened by the fact no-one has ever posted in there though it was set up in January. I'd looked everywhere for a George McFly Fans Community, but whoever has set it up neglected to put in any interests, or a user pic come to think of it. But I put a post in there, so prehaps whoever set it up will reply! Maybe they'll hand it over to me...hmmm...I'll probably suck as a moderator, but I guess I could give it a go! :OP

Besides I've got an Icon for the Community now. ;O)

As it turned out I went with my father to the Holy Thursday Mass when I realised that his computer presentation would go to waste unless he had more help, so I stepped up to the plate. :O) It was an all right mass, and I didn't even cough that much :O), however I'm not much looking forward to drag my butt there tomorrow for Good Friday, not that I have anything against Good Friday, I'm just a little concerned I may still be tired. But eh, pretty much the only thing nagging me is this cough and the tiredness, so I doubt it'll be a problem.

But gee, I wish I'd brought a Decongestant as well as a Dry Cough medicine, it says on the medical info one shouldn't use the Dry one, if they have a 'productive' cough, but I can't really figure out which one mine is because sometimes it is, but sometimes it isn't. Eh, I suppose it won't hurt.

PS 9:35pm Ah good the practice session is over...I won't have to surrupetiously call the cops to complain about loud music after 10pm. ;O)

I uploaded more of my Sims 2 story about George and Max, figuring that because they were at a new address it'd upload a separate album, but no luck so I have to back and fix that up later...bah!

My stomach hurts again, stupid stress regarding this long car trip and Wedding this weekend...this sucks! What am I supposed to do? I mean Buscopan doesn't help, it would seem and it's not like I want to take some sort anti-anxiety drug (I had one once and it gave me these shocking legs cramps, I mean those were bad SOBs!) or something. I guess I'll have to put up with it and hope it doesn't lead to me having to go the bathroom every hour or so (don't ask), which doesn't really work when one is a car.

But it more cheerful news...uh...so to speak...they've got new episodes for Crime Night! Yay! Although it goes to show there's sick SOBs out there...one guy pretneded his daughter had disappeared when he infact killed her! Not to mention the fact he was molesting her...gross!

Right now on the Crime and Investigation Network is a show called Dead Reckoning I've been trying to catch it for ages! I wonder if it'll come back on again? I have to go back the Parentals tomorrow because we're leaving early on Friday...yuk early driving!

Cool George: Hey, stop dwelling on it would you? Why don't you just sleep on the way down...that'll keep you occupied, and quiet.

PS Wow! You sure can find nifty stuff on the Antiques Roadshow a ring found in a teapot in a box brought from $20 would go for $5000! And a nice set of antique drawers would bring in $20,000! Cha-ching!
