I am quite frankly, due mostly to having to make a made rush to drop my parents at this hotel for the Year 11 Formal (Dad's the Year Co-ordinator Fill-in and a favourite teacher among the kiddies).

But yeah there were all these bloody taxis around, which freaked me out, I hate taxis, call it an unreasonable generalisation if you must but I find taxi drivers to be some of the worst drivers on the road, or maybe it's just 'cause they're in a hurry? Either way they're always cutting you off and shit like that, so I hate trying to get into a lane when there's a taxi behind me. Unfortunately, my parents got me to that not once, not twice, but thrice. Pain in the ass.

This on top of the big confusion of what exactly was going on today, orginally my little bro was supposed to bring the red car over this afternoon, go to work and come back to Newtown on the bus. Meanwhile, I'd take my parents to the hotel, drive to the apartment and stay there, then later in the night when the dance was over, little bro would go and pick 'em up and they'd go to the parentals.

Buuut...my brother didn't drop the car off, he took it to work, and when Dad and I talked him into bringing it back, Mum arrived home and told him that the whole plan had been based on him not being at work...So, basically the whole plan was scrapped...Well, for about half an hour, then we kind of went back to it...

Argh! Confusing see?

In other news, I really should have mentioned this yesterday, but last night we were hit with one hell of a lightning storm, 750 bolts in 2 hours! I didn't really realise it was happening until I noticed that it was flickering nearly constantly outside while I was watching the final eps of Frasier. When I did I looked out my window and saw the bolts going off every half a minute it or so. It was really amazing! Unfortuantely, I didn't tkae any piccies, but here's some I found at The Sydney Morning Herald website.

It really looks like the famous one too! I wonder just how much electricity it held.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any piccies of the intra-lightning (lightning bolts going between the clouds rather than coming down), since that was really cool too...alas you'll have to use your imaginations. :OP

I was typing up an entry last night when in my haze of tiredness and stinging eyeballs I accidentally closed the window! Humbugs! So, since it was late and since my eyes really were hurting something awful I decided to stuff it.

So yeah, anyway, yesterday when I got back to Newtown after the Mother's Day Breakfast I decided to play The Sims 2, and I got to thinking about how when you Make-A-Child in the Create-A-Sim thing the genetics work the same as in-game baby creation. This means that if you have a blond haired parent and a black haired one and use the Make-A-Child function you'll get a kid with black hair, but the kid will also have the gene for blonde hair. So if you set him to adult and then create another Sim (a red head for example) and do the whole Make-A-Child thing again you can have Sims with blond, red or black hair! :O) With all this in mind I decided to see if I could successfully get the McFly Family all related.

I started yesterday with Seamus, Maggie, William and his wife Nadine. I gave them there first four kids, but there's a few problems with that. First of all the kiddies aren't the right age, second of all, having 8 people in the house at once is a pain, I thought about having Seamus and Maggie in the same house to help with the kids, but I think I'll spilt them. My computer's graphics card is pretty good, but the RAM is only just good enough, so it gets all jerky.

But the important thing is, making William the child of Maggie and Seamus (in the Create-A-Sim part) puts green eyes and red hair into his genes (Even though Will has the McFly Family light blue eyes and brown hair)! So when he has his kids with blonde haired and grey eyed Nadine many combinations come up!

Long story short I shall restart the family with Elders:Seamus and Maggie Adults:William and Nadine and Toddlers: Mircanda and Patrick (two toddlers! Eek! :O) and then go from there. I'm getting very good at making Michael J. Fox's likeness (for Will and Seamus) in the Sims 2! I just hope the McFly nose (which, I hope will somehow not show up on Marty) passes to Max and then to George. Otherwise, the family pictures will only be useful as a 'History' for my current McFlys.

The Georges: You're remaking us again?! Am we so replaccable?

Of course not! That's why I want to make you and your family history perfect! You'll thank me later...I think...

The Georges: Hmmpf!

The Lorraines: What about us?

Wellll...I'm afraid I'm gonna leave you guys as is, for some reason I don't see your Grandparents showing up too much. I could make you some and try that Sims 2 thingo (I can't remember what it's called) to make you related, but I never could figure that thing out. But if the McFly experiment works out with Max McFly, I'll test it out. :O)

Okay, I got the googly eyes from Cammeary as well as a book from the library A Concise History of Brazil, none the less I continue to struggle with the questions! Tomorrow morning at nine am the group is meeting and I haven't given any indication that I'm having trouble. Maybe I should now? Although it's a bit late...I guess I'll just have to hope for Divine Inspiration or some such.

Also, right now I'm downloading the latest episode of Family Guy, everyone's talking about it on the LJ Community and unless I want to remove it from my Friend's List, the eps will be ruined for me. Besides I can add it to the CD I'm going to give my little bro along with the Third Season DVD.

I was also dead tired in the middle of the day, although I'm feeling a bit more awake now, I'll avoid the Simmies though, firstly because of the Brazil thing and secondly my eyeballs are still tender. Ouch!

Anyway, back to Brazil.

I blame Harry Potter fanfiction! Er...I can't remember the spell to repell something, so that's a relief, but I need to focus more on BTTF stuff since I've based my main character on George. George where are you?

The Georges arrive with their party hats on, even Dead George has somehow managed to rustle on up! They are accompanied by their Lorraines.

How was the party?

Old George: There was lots of pizza...

Old Lorraine: You ate far too much, you won't be able to rotate your axis for hours yet!

Cool George: Lorrie and I danced the night away!

Cool Lorraine: Indeed we did! Georgie's quite the dancer!

Original George: It was much too busy and loud for me...

Original Lorraine: There certainly wasn't enough to eat, or enough to drink!

Dead George: I visited with docsgirl's Vamp Marty and Doc, it was a very good time, we went and messed with Biff's mind ;O)

1985-A Lorraine: Yes we did! It was very good! *Blows kiss to Dead George*

OctoGeorge: I popped over there too, most unfortunately OckDoc and I tried to arm wrestle and ended up tangled up! Luckily we managed to get out of that allright.

Storm Lorraine: Well, at least we got our tennis in before that, dear.

Young George: Lorraine and I went to the Essex and then to Lou's, it was great!

Also Sim George celebrated his 6th Birthday so to speak, you can see it here, takes a long while to load though, so you have to be a bit patient :O)

Owwww, my nasal cavaties...this is cruel...I haven't had a cold in ages, why is it that one forgets how bad they can be. I feel tired but when I lie down my throat hurts really bad, when I'm not lying down my nose runs like a bitch. This sucks ass people! And my lips! Owww they're all dried and cracking and stuff and putting chapstick on them just made the sting something awful! What the Hell is that? Stupid piece of crap.

Hmm, today is the anniversary of the Iraqi War starting...and there were protests, if not for my cold I probably would have been there because I'm quite worry re: Australia's further troop committments especially after the Prime Minister said he wouldn't send any more troops, although why any of us would even believe a thing the man says anymore is beyond me.

Hmm...way to mangle a Dr Evil Quote there, but I'll take it for now...basically I'm trying to get a working version of Photoshop on this computer here so I copy the one I have at Newtown onto the Memory Stick and bring it on over. However, it would appear that I've forgotten some .dlls or some such...well crap!

So I go to the trouble of using Kazaa to get the latest version, but wouldn't you know it? No serial number included, so I search high and low for a serial number genearator, only to find it a total waste of time...well stuff it I'm just gonna see if I can find the original big folder at the computer at Newtown and upload it too. Hopefully that'll work...'cause I only uploaded the folder in the Adbobe Directory and sometimes when you do that something is missing.

At least I think so, computer savvy I ain't.

But since I don't seem to have access to the 3D version of the paperclip on any of the computers here there's not much of a point...I swear I hate it when I get distracted by something and can't let it go...it wastes time!

In other news I've just realised firstly there's no food in my parents house and I'm hungry for a sandwich and secondly I don't have one of the two medications I'm supposed to take every day to keep me from screaming ;O) So I'll have to go down and get it, but I'm chatting with my American friends and I don't wanna go now! I might get 'em on my way to church or maybe I'll just get off my fat ass after this entry and do it...

But yes I've had an idea! In the tradition of Mini-Damoses (see martyfan's early journal entries for info as well as damostaranth for more info), I've made a collection of Mini-Mooses! When I get the time I'll make a animated gif of them marching! Ok they probably won't march, but they'll move, and in the end isn't that the important thing?

Oh man, I really have to eat something before I pass out...

I've been spending the last few days wondering what sort of Lorraine should be with OctoGeorge, whether I should just have her be normal or what...but finally I decided that I'd give her some special powers and so I present...



StormLorraine!

She has the same powers as Storm from the X-Men, which really comes in handy when OctoGeorge wants to play tennis and it's stormy out! It also helps her in watering the gardens as you can see here :O). Best of all she can fly, of course when she does it gets pretty windy out there... :OD
