anonymoose_au11:13pm: So, the stomach seems to have settled right down, go figure! Oh well, I shouldn't bitch this is very good news, I even came back here to the apartment! But oh crap, I wonder if I have enough clothes left, I meant to put my washing on, but I went and forgot. Damn my arse!
In other news, I forgot to mention it was George McFly's birthday! He'd be 71 years old, and one wonders how often he's had to be in that back harness thing...Old Lorraine seemed to suggest he thrown his back out before. LOL!

Stress & Anxiety
1. Everyone has *some* stress, but do you ever get overly anxious about things? Is it enough to be a problem? If it is, have you done something about it?
Ha! This question is apt, apt I tell you! I've evidentally been entirely too stressed this week and my stomach had a complete fuck-up! Ah, shit. And let me tell you, it is a problem, I keep getting close to being fired! Not to mention the scratches on my person, ouch.
As for what I'm doing about it, well, I'm going to my psychiatrist and I should practice that deep breathing more often, it seems to work.
2. What is your biggest stressor? How come?
It's a chicken and egg situation! When I get stomachaches, it stresses me waaaay out and then my stomach hurts worse and then I stress more, etc. etc. But what made the stomach hurt in the first place. Often a mystery!
3. What kinds of things do you do to destress?
Get on the net, or play The Sims 2 or write a story and so on. None of which I can do at work, which sucks, but hardly surprising! If anyone else has some work-friendly destress tips now's the time to let me in on the fun!

Library Week
I saw that National Library week is coming up in April, and that led to some questions. How often do you use your public library and how do you use it? Has the coffeehouse/bookstore replaced the library? Did you go to the library as a child? Do you have any particular memories of the library? Do you like sleek, modern, active libraries or the older, darker, quiet, cozy libraries?
Library week, yays! I've got one of those rubber bracelet things that has I Love Libraries on it. Funky! Anywho, i've fallen right down on my library going! This is a shame because one of the best things about where I live is that I'm just down the road from Sydney University Library a veriable treasure trove of books of all kinds! But I can't get on the net there 'cause I'm not a student, so that's no fun!
And indeed I did go to the library as a teenager, not so much as a child because there was only one library in town, and it was pretty shit. At school I went to the library practically every lunch time until I was in Years 11 and 12.
And of course I worked at Mosman Library for about two or three years, good times, good times!
And I remember that I once almost ran into my school principal at the local library so I hid behind the shelves so I wouldn't have to talk to her, LOL!
And, I perfer the more open libraries that are newer if only to avoid the dust, no good for my nose!

April Fools, Non-Reality, Cracking Your Knuckles, And Other Off The Wall Questions
1. Did you play any April Fools jokes on anyone or have a joke played on you?
1st of April was a decidely pisspoor day for me, so no. My boss played some tricks on his family though and I got involved a bit. Before my stomach tried to kill me.
2. If you could be on any non-reality TV show as a guest star or star, which one would it be and why?
It would have been cool to be on Fraiser! But I take it you mean show's currently on...
Man, I dunno...maybe Cold Case that's a pretty cool show. I bet i wouldn't be much of an actor so I'd probably be a background character, like the person who brings in the recently uncovered evidence.
3. Do you crack your knuckles?
No, I can't seem to do that...if my knuckles do crack it's a generally unpleasant sensation.
4. If you remember your first day of kindergarten, were you scared or excited? If you have kids or grandkids, were they scared or excited?
I seem to recall I was standing with my mother, nervous about going in, I was always a weird kid and being on the outside of groups, so yeah.
5. If you are in the shower, hear the fire alarm going off and smell smoke/see flames, will you just run out of the house with a towel on or grab some clothes & dress as you run out?
Geeze, that's a tough one, I'd probably take the towel though because yikes, actual smoke and flames! Maybe if I didn't see that I might grab something to put on, but that smoke can kill you quick, so it won't matter if your nicely dressed!
6. Last week the Thursday Thunkers asked about your Daddy (twice), so this week tell us a little about your Mom.
Whoops I think I missed that one, I'll have to go back and do that one. Anywho, my mother is currently in Hawaii, the lucky woman! But she goes for what she wants and has a lot of confidence, so I guess that's how it works.
7. Which search engine do you use most often?
Google!
8. Did you participate in Earth Hour?
Aye, aye! I hope you people did too!
9. What was the last new-to-you movie you watched? Was it in the theater or on DVD? Was it good?
Well, I watched The Castle the other night, which I haven't seen all the way through before, it was really funny! Good times, good times.
10. If you do something embarrassing, do you laugh it off, or sit & worry about it?
Depends what it is and in front of whom.
11. Where is your favorite spot in your home to sit & relax?
Right here on my computer chair.
