11:06pm: I keep thinking that it's Friday - although earlier today I thought it was Wednesday (because a colleague of mine who usually has Tuesdays off, also took Wednesday off), but it's not! It's Thursday and I've got work tomorrow so I need to make this quick! Although, as it happens, even if it was Friday, it's my Saturday shift this week so I'd still need to go to bed early, LOL.

Anywho, moving right along...hmmm...I though I had something of interest to say, but I don't...I do have some plot ideas in mind for the McFly July prompts, but as they say the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. On the plus side though, my right thumb isn't sore anymore, so thank God for that!

Oh wait, I do remember...I restarted for like the sixth time Hill Valley in Cities Skylines, I had a good thing going with my current save, when it occurred to me that I totally messed up the highways, so I fixed that and while I was at it I added a waterfall to the map. Would Hill Valley actually have a waterfall somewhere? I always thought so, so there it goes.

I'm watching the ABC news, and I'm reminded of something else, some crazy dude popped open the emergency exit on a plane that just landed, jumped onto the wing and slid down the engine before trying to make a break for it, only to be detained by some ground crew. Yikes...talk about weird? Originally I heard it was before take-off so I figured maybe the guy had a massive panic attack or something, but if they've landed... And if he sneaked onto the plane at the departure airport that still doesn't make sense, because having taken some domestic flights recently they're a bit lax with checking your ID. At any rate the guy is in big trouble now!

Also sad news in the penguin world - one pair of the famous gay penguin couple Sphen died, leaving his partner penguin, Magic and their adopted chicks on their own (although I think both chicks are pretty much grown). Apparently, that type of penguin mates for life, so Magic's pretty bummed.

On that note, though I better go, I think I've been lacking in the sleep department so I should try and catch up on that, or at least go to bed before midnight!

10:54pm: Maaaybe, I went and saw the lady at her house today to discuss the carer's position - she's very nice, and it sounds like a good position except for one thing...as part of her personal care some toilet related stuff is necessary. That was pretty much the thing I avoided when I did the one week placement for my course, not so much because I think it's beneath me or something, but because I'm not sure about my visceral reactions to such a thing. I mean I certainly wouldn't want to offend by making a horrified face or something, but I feel like I might not be able to help it. And this is a bit more involved that I thought it would be...I should probably spare you all the details though. :OP

Anyway, tomorrow I'm going for a trial with the current carer so I'll get to see how everything is done and whether I can hack it or not, I better decided quickly though, because I don't want to jerk the lady around. She can't start her day without a carer to help in the morning, so if I can't hack it I better step out of the way so someone else can do it.

Of course, all this is complicated by the fact that I called the lead my aunt gave me, another nice chap who told me to send in my resume and then a meeting could be arranged to see about getting me some work through his firm. I have no idea though, if it's a sure thing - like they have positions that need to be filled with clients or what. I guess I'll have to wait until we can meet, hopefully this week...

Finally, there's the library job! Which if my calculations are correct I can expect to hear a yay or nay for the interview stage on Monday. But it could be longer, who the Hell knows?

And this is why job hunting is so difficult, if you get more than one job at once how do you turn down one without sounding like a dick? Or worse, if you get one job, but then you get another one, the one you really want how do you quit the first one without being an ass? I suppose some would say if employers don't owe you a living then you don't owe them anything, but I'm so bad at that, I get anxious and will probably start crying and just generally feeling like a shit.

But, I suppose I shouldn't get ahead of myself, for one thing, maybe I'll be OK with this carer stuff - I did mostly all right at the Aged Care Facility, even with bodily functions limited my exposure to it was.

Anway, I should probably hit the hay, the hours are usually 8:30am to 11:30am, but tomorrow for my trial we have to start at 8am, so I need to be up at 7, so yeah, need that shut eye.

Wish me luck though! Being gainfully employed is what I'm aiming for after all, and hey helping someone is a good job to have.

I called my father on an unrelated matter just a few minutes ago, to have him tell me off for not saying anything about the car accident on Thursday. If you recall he was called up about it by the Police, but here's the thing: The Policewoman says the car I ran into was severely damaged.

Now unless she saw it with her own eyes I find the whole thing suspicious.

Either the guy is been really nice to me by not making me fork over a huge amount of money to pay for it to be fixed, or he flatout lied about the damage in order to get the cops to call me right away.

Now come on, they don't know that I'm a young student with no money, if their car was that badly damaged there's no reason why they wouldn't make me pay for it.

In fact I wish they would, because then insurance would cover it, not me.

As it is, it really really looks like the dude is using me to pay HIS parking ticket, which isn't my fault and I'm finding increasingly unfair...$180! That's heaps!

Plus I hate having my father mad at me...:O( What a blow! I mean yeah I know I backed into the guy, but if there's no damage...If the cop says she saw it and it was bad, fine, I'll gladly pay $180, if not...I'm not sure what to do.

Anyway, I gotta leave now so I can discuss Windows XP discs with my father and get to church on time. So that's all for me now, Memes to follow! :OD

'Cause I didn't have a drop of alcohol tonight, but none the less I could barely walking in a straight line and am quite sure that I was shouting like a raving loony. I can hardly type this stuff out correctly, although that's probably because I'm so tired, we walked all the way back to my frined's car, it must have been three kms or something.

Anyway, tonight one of my old friends from Monte had her 22nd Birthday Party at the Opera Bar, which is near the Opera House, very loud music and whatnot...also damn expensive so all I ate for dinner was a large bowl of chips.

But yes, a very good time was had by all, although our gift (a went halves with another friend) was a $50 Gift Voucher, because...well, we weren't sure what else to get her.

Dear me, I'm so tired I can't be arsed to write the rest of this, but I wanted to ask if anyone else has ever had this sort of problem. Because it's weird, not having any alcohol yet ending up as the one who's dizzy and falling over themselves.

The music however was damn loud...maybe it did something to my ears...

I'm feeling confused, I have this nagging suspicion I'm forgetting something, but I can't put my finger on it.

Actually it got be sleep, haven't been getting enough sleep because I've been staying up watching Wimbledon and Crime Night last night.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to go see my father performing in a school play, I'm a bit worried I'll be too nervous to enjoy it (I get nervous at EVERYTHING!), either that or I'll laugh my ass off. Dad tried to read out a story I wrote once, and I couldn't stop laughing, it was just really funny for some reason.

Am also having a bitch of a time taping my three Foxtel shows (no Foxtel at the apartment, yet), Diagnosis Murder, Family Guy and Airport, the thing they're each on different channels- luckily hours apart, but I have to make sure to ring up and get my family to change the channel. Particularly in the morning I have trouble getting them to change the station in time, so I keep missing 'Diagnosis Murder'. Anyone ever seen that show- it's cool! Dick Van Dyke reminds me of Dad, most likely due to the fact he has a mustache. Anyone who has a mustache reminds me of my father, this is bad news when you consider Saddam Hussien has a mustache.

Anyway, I've just watched Absloutely Fabulous on the ABC, funny stuff.

Anywho, I better get going- duty calls!
