11:28pm: Quite a bit of driving done today, at least, quite a bit in terms of what I do! Saturday is church day, so after work I drive from Dee Why to Neutral Bay and of course I drive back afterwards. With my shiny green car with it's automatic transmission I rather enjoyed it! Except for a few pot holes, my car is rather low to the ground so you can really feel bumps!

In other news, work went quite well today! Quite a bit to do so time passed quickly, the only problem is the pants I wore were just too tight. Damn this being between clothing sizes, it's a huge pain, I think I need to get a belt with more holes in it, the one I currently have doesn't go tight enough so my size 12 pants are too big and I feel like they might fall down! And although the pants I wore today had size 12 on them, they've been tailored extensively... I suppose I should give them away, but they came with a jacket and I sort of don't want to separate them, but i do like that jacket. Hmmm.

Anyway, in NaNo news I'm still playing catch up, I could have done more, but I got distracted watching Modern Family Season 3 on DVD, good show. :O) But all in all it hasn't been too bad! Though I definitely have to get to bed earlier tonight, I stayed up too late last night and now my eyelids are heavy and I'm yawning.

And now, I'll be off, I've also remembered I need to do some Russian study on Duolingo too before I hit the hay!

11:12pm: Well, once again I had to forego the gym, which I certainly didn't plan to do, but the weather went to Hell today. It wasn't too bad in the morning, so I only wore my green water-proof jacket, rather than my long blue trenchcoat. This turned out to be a big mistake, upon finishing work I headed towards the bus stop the rain was pelting down, and in the short walk my pants were completely saturated! Not to mention my sneakers became waterlogged and my socks soaked through.

I had also felt rather weird in the abdominal area all that morning, although it had settled down a bit by then, but with an absolutely wet bottom half and cold I took the bus down to Dee Why only so I could huddle in the bus shelter down there before the 178 came by.

I immediately took a hot shower upon getting home and put on my nice dry jeans and slippers and I've been huddled up on the couch since then.

The weather continues to suck and seem to recall that it's not supposed to clear up until Sunday, ewww, I was going to go ice skating tomorrow...plus there's church, oh and I usually do my laundry. Ugh, hopefully it won't be as bad as today...well at least I'll be making sure to wear my trenchcoat this time!

In other news, I finally got around to trying out my Russian for Absolute Beginners book, I'm picking up the new alphabet OK...I think, but I can't pronounce stuff for shit, so I'm not sure that counts...the only phrase I'm really able to remember is goodbye, but I already knew that one! LOL. Oh well, guess you can only keep on keeping on.

2. What’s a catalog you’ve always wanted to order from but never have? Hmm, I dunno...never really thought about it to be honest. Maybe something from National Geographic? They've got some interesting stuff.

3. What is physically the largest item you ever mail-ordered? My old green laptop.

5. What catalogs do you still receive in the actual mail? None that I've ordered! Only the junk mail ones that people just deliver.

What are some obscure or unusual catalogs you’ve received? Hmmm, can't think of anything. I'm not very exciting. :OP

1. When was the last time you wrote a check at a store? I've never written a cheque in a shop, I have written some on behalf of my old boss as part of my job though that's about 6 years ago now.

2. When was the last time you looked up something in a book? Just an hour ago, I keep forgetting which n shaped Russian letter is 'L' and which is 'P' they look very similar! What's up with that?

3. When was the last time you used a dial phone? Uh...a couple of weeks back when my mobile was totally flat and I had to borrow the landlord's one to call about a job.

4. When was the last time you played cards with actual paper cards? Only a few weeks ago, Canasta with M! I lost, boo!

5. When was the last time you talked to a stranger? Uh...hmmm...gee...dunno, don't much talk to strangers.
