anonymoose_au11:03pm: Ow, that was decidedly unpleasant and uncomfortable. Sure hope I'm not getting a cold, gulp! I don't need that.
What I do need to do - which I'm sure is a familiar refrain - because alas, there were multiple issues with work today, firstly I had to go in even earlier than expected, and secondly the catheater change didn't happen because for some reason it wouldn't come out! o.O Some sort of bladder spasm, so long story short a nurse has to come back tomorrow. Which means I also have to go in earlier, although hopefully not as early as today!
After I finished up, I headed down to the mall with the idea of finding a new black watch - because the one I use for every day that isn't my sport's watch has gone to Hell. I didn't find one that I thought was worth buying, although I did end up buying a small Russian-English English-Russian dictionary from Dymocks, it's all ready come in handy! :O)
I did buy a pink watch at Aldi which I'm going to wear tomorrow at the library with my my pink shirt and also this rather nifty invention - a miniature heat pack, you press on a little metal disc inside the hotwater bottle shaped thing and it sets off some reaction that produces heat until the liquid inside turns to crystals. Then you just heat it up again boiling water so that the crystals decrystallise back into liquid again. Handy, huh? I all ready used it and it really works. Quite handy I might keep it on my person in case I get chilly in this weather, which is set to be quite cold tomorrow, brrr! I'm glad I was inside most of today!
And I finally got another glasses cleaning cloth, it's purple, I hope I can keep hold of this one...I don't know how I keep losing them. OK, I do, but it's still bloody annoying.
On a final note, today is my little bro's 30th Birthday! Happy Birthday to him! I rang him this afternoon and asked if he'd like cupcakes for the party we're having on Sunday, he does and with a special request, choc-banana cupcakes. I'll have to look into making those.
Right, better head for bed now, wish me luck tomorrow!
