anonymoose_au10:29pm: There was just a huge thunderstorm here in my suburb (and surrounding areas I assume), with flashes of lightning and bolts across the sky with big gust of wind and rain pelting down. I got a bit scared I have to say, I've never been a fan of lightning, although at least unlike last week I wasn't in my car at the time Still it was the sort of storm that makes you realise how easy it could stop a clock or send a DeLorean back in time. ;O)
Moving on, I'm wondering if I should send my application in for the temporary job at Mona Vale Library tonight or wait for tomorrow. I've pretty much written the cover letter and everything and I do wonder if waiting until the last day is bad form, but on the other hand I'm not sure it actually is ready. although as it turns out my mother might not be able to come over tomorrow after all (it seems she forgot that I work Friday mornings) so it's not like I can show it to her. I did think about calling the person on the ad though ust to see if they're looking for anything in particular or at least make sure they know that I'm interested!
Anywho...what else to report? Well I did my volunteering today, which was good, I caught the bus and actually read my book! (Usually I end up looking at my mobile instead :OP) I did get a bit concerned when I realised I'd managed to leave my drink bottle back at the Granny Fat but thankfully it didn't end up being that hot.
I can't think of what else to write, so here let's have a meme before a wrap this entry up.

:The Last Time I Saw Him (1973):
1) In this song, Miss Ross sings of a tender farewell at the bus station. When did you last say goodbye to someone at an airport, dock, train or bus station? Hmmm, at those actual locations? Uh, gee it's been quite a while, I usually don't go to the airport because I have trouble with driving sometimes which is a shame because I do enjoy watching airplanes. But ahem to get back on track...ugh ages ago.
2) Continuing with the theme of "lasts," who received the last gift you gave? I think it was my mother for her birthday? I should work on my memory...
3) Who last did you a favor? My mother who gave me some of the lasagna she made the other day. Yum.
4) What's the last thing you dropped or broke? Well, I do drop a lot of things but thankfully they usually don't break. :O) I think the last thing I dropped that broke was a glass, that sucked! It was a special glass.
5) What's the last thing you borrowed or lent?Murder, She Wrote from the library this afternoon count? I guess it does.
6) When is the last time you danced? Hmmm...it was probably at Mrs S's house, we put the radio LOL.
7) When were you last nervous? Today when I was worried that forgetting my drink bottle.
8) What was your last DIY project? Well, I bought this make-your-own Santa garland thing the other day, it only required threading all ready made Santa cardboard cut-ups on a piece of ribbon.
9) When did you last check your horoscope? Was it accurate? No idea, but it was clearly inaccurate to the max.

My Life Would Suck Without You (2009):
1) This video begins with Ms. Clarkson on a swing. When you were young, did you prefer the swings or the slide? Hmmm, I guess I'd say the swings, the slide was often too hot to sit on comfortably because this is Australia. :OP
2) The first words are, "Guess this means you're sorry." Who is the last person to apologize to you? To me? No-one comes to mind, I'm not usually wronged, LOL.
3) One of Kelly's earliest show business jobs was as an extra on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. Do you believe in witches and warlocks? Nah.
4) Mentioning witches and seeing Kelly with a lollipop reminds Sam ... She needs to pick up a 1 lb. bag of Dum Dums for Trick or Treaters. Have you done anything in preparation for Halloween? Man, I'm so far behind on these things and no I didn't, living in the rear of a property means even if there were Trick or Treaters around they wouldn't come back here.
5) Ms. Clarkson's advice to aspiring young singers is not to listen to advice. "Everyone gives you their 2ยข worth, but you have to follow your gut." Are you good at soliciting and following advice? Or do you tend to follow your gut? I suck at following my gut, or knowing what I should do so I'm very good a soliciting and following advice.
6) The year this song was popular, 2009, saw two major newspapers go out of business. Both the Seattle Post Intelligencer and Rocky Mountain News published their last editions. Do you still read a paper copy of your local newspaper? Sometimes I do if I pick it up, apparently it should be delivered to the house here, but I think either it's not or the landlord's get it.
7) In 2009, Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that Facebook tried to buy Twitter, but was rebuffed. Which social media site do you spend the most time on? I'm gonna say Tumblr, there's a lot of good stuff on there, thankfully I manage to avoid the drama usually. :O)
8) In 2009, the Balmain Collection included a pair of jeans that retailed for $2,165. What's the most you would pay for denim pants? Holy shit, what are they made of?! GOLD! I paid $109 for two pairs of 3/4 length jeans the other week and I thought that was pretty steep!
9) Random question: You buy a charity raffle ticket and tuck it into a friend's birthday card. Before you can give the card to her, the numbers are drawn and you realize the ticket is worth $500. Do you keep the ticket or give it to your friend, as planned? Ooo that is a toughie...especially since I'm feeling rather poor right now. I'd probably take the money and give half or three-quarters to my friend and keep the rest.
That's right I remembered another important and not so good news I received today...my rent hasn't been coming out of my account! No wonder I've had so much money lately! And now my savings are horribly depleted. Son of a bitch. Good thing I had it though... still that sucks. :O(
Right, work tomorrow then the psychiatrist so off I go!
