9:39pm: As I'm sure you can guess from my subject heading, the internet is still stupidly slow! WTF?! Telstra is just fucking us around now, N from the main house called them about it, at least I think he did. As I mentioned there's been discussion of moving to a new service provider, which seems to be happening soon, but I can't believe Telstra would be so petty as to keep our connection throttled. That's just bullshit to the highest degree.

Anyway, N was supposed to ring them back and see what the hell was going on, but I'm not sure he did, since he gets up pretty early so it's possible when he went into the house he fell asleep and never got around to it. I'm wondering if I should request to be put on the new account as a registered type person so I can make inquiries and what not.

And...I've just realised that I mispelt 'inquiries' wrong in my application to the library job at Ryde Council, fuck I sure hope that doesn't prevent me from getting an interview. Shit...

Speaking of jobs and what not, there was a report on 4 Corners tonight about the Job Networks here in Australia that are supposed to help one find a job after you've been unemployed for three months. Anyway, these Job Networks replaced the helpful system of before when Centrelink would actually help you find a job instead of just palming you off elsewhere. According to 4 Corners (a reputable reporting show, by the way) there's a lot of evidence that many of these services undertake shonky practices like taking credit for finding a person a job when it never did so (which gets them money from the Government), 'parking' people who aren't likely to get a job and not bothering to put them forward for any positions at all and making people take courses that aren't all that helpful. Most shocking of all sometimes signatures are forged and documents literally pasted together to meet Government criteria.

Well! I certainly hope my signature has never been used for forgeries of this nature! Hmpf! Typical, when I stuff up with payments I end up owing $400 that I have to pay back at a really inopportune time but these guys just get away with this shit?

Well, I suppose I can be comforted by the fact I do have a job and tomorrow will be my first day alone, gulp! I'm more concerned about Wednesday which will be bathroom day again, this time all by myself. Praying that I'll do everything right so it doesn't end badly.

Anyway, due to the internet still being a dick, memes are on hold so I guess I'll wrap this up here, I should get to bed at a reasonable hour since I'm still catching up on my sleep.

I bid you all goodnight!

9:36pm: It's certainly not loading a damn thing now...not even Google! Unbelievable. And still three days to go until the new billing cycle begins, ugh. So now I have to update from my mobile phone and you know how that is...

Hmpf, on the plus side I was pretty much out of the house most of the day what with volunteering at the library, reading in the library, going to Vinnies, then to Centrelink for an appointment. Oh and I had to get some milk and what not at Coles so I didn't get home until nearly four.

Right typing up stuff on this mobile is irritating so I shall wrap this entry up with birthday wishes to my father. Happy Birthday, Dad!

God damnit

10:43pm: It seems the people in the main house have taken to turning off the modem when they go to bed, leaving me with no internet connection! Son of a... I can understand why we seem to be using bandwidth a lot faster since N got the new wifi booster, but it's immensely irritating to me. I'm considering offering to pay extra so we can get 50gb or something. And now I'm not sure what to do if N forgets to turn it on before he leaves - early - for work. I can't really just go into their house and switch the modem back on. What an ass!

Anyway I was going to update you on all of my shenanigans today, but updating on a mobile makes that too hard so you'll have to wait for tomorrow.

I've got quite a few job leads lately - but managed to miss out on applying for a library job Mum showed me last week, fuuuuck.

But I've got that interview tomorrow morning so fingers and toes crossed.

Also Centrelink is going to put me in the more intensive job getting help steam, so that's nice. But more info on that later.

For now, goodnight.
