Back to the Books!
Feb. 9th, 2012 11:48 pm11:16pm: No, uni hasn't started up again, but volunteering at the library has, yay! :OD I went there today and quickly got back into the swing of things, good times, good times. Although I was meant to go on Friday, since that's the day Mum has off, but since I still didn't know if I'd be able to do it because someone else volunteers on that day off I went.
As it turns out, the Friday person can no longer volunteer on thta day so I can take it, the thing is I don't really want to because I won't be able to change it once Dad's back on his feet and also the class I enjoy taking is at 12:30 and I won't be able to go to it if I volunteer on Friday. So yeah, quite a pickle there. I'll have to discuss it some more with Mum tomorrow.
After my volunteer work I headed to Chatswood to deposit my wages and these cheques I got from the gas company thanks to Mum (the gas and electricity next dor used to be in my name, but now it isn't since the new tenants moved in). Unfortunately while leaving the trainstation my bag got slightly caught in the gate, and broke one of the zips off D: On the plus side, my mother gave me a $50 voucher to a bag shop up in Crowsnest, which I'll have to visit tomorrow and see if I can't get something good.
Anwya ties moving on, so I better do the Meme!
Bookn Through Thursday
Only Five
If you had to pick only 5 books to read ever again, what would they be and why?’
OMG, that is indeed an awful question! I guess....
1. The Mysterious Affair at Styles my favourite Agatha Christie book
2. Polgara the Sorceress my favourite David and Leigh Eddings book
3. All That Remains my favourite Patricia Cornwell
4. Back to the Future - the novelisation by George Gipe
5. George III: A Personal History by Christopher Hibbert
Well, here's hoping I wouldn't live to regret those choices!
And now I must be off, my mother likes to wake me up at like 8am no matter what so I have to make sure I get my eight hours.
Goodnight all!
