9:43pm: Regarding the newspaper route...I mean the pay for it is a total joke, frankly I think it's pretty low even for a 12 year old kid.

On the other hand, it is a job and if it's still available...uh, I guess I should call tomorrow and see, for all I know the other person who inquired about it has all ready rung back and taken it. Frankly, I don't relish the idea of walking the streets at the crack of dawn, but I guess it's exercise. Have to find myself a good bag to carry the papers in if I'm going to do it, otherwise I'll be walking back and forth every ten minutes.

In other news, I had a very busy day today, firstly I had to stop by the Medical Centre to get that script, however, they only allow bulk billing from 10am to 4pm, which was a bit of an ass, because I had the IPL appointment at 10...However, in the interest of saving money and the fact the IPL doesn't take long, I made an appointment with a doctor for 10:30am and headed down to Mosman, via the Officeworks to see about that Router Booster.

As it happened, they didn't seem to have the one I bought last time, instead I ended up picking up one that you plug directly into your laptop rather than into a power point. It cost $29 and I'm using it now, but I'm not entirely sure it's actually making a difference, because it still says the signal is weak from up here in the Granny Flat. There's still been the odd internet drop out, but it seems to fix itself, which is far preferrable to having to send text messages to Mum's friend asking her to turn the router on and off.

Anyway, I wanted to buy that on the gift card I got from the newsagency as a Christmas present, but the cashier at Officeworks seemed unable to get it to work - or at least split the payment (since the card had $20 on it), so I just paid in cash.

I got to the IPL place some 15 minutes before 10 and they were nice enough to see me early, which was a good thing too, because with the eyebrow waxing it ended up taking longer than I thought! Then I missed the bus that would get me back to the Medical Centre before 10:30 and I had to wait for the next one. I ended up being a bit late, but fortunately they hadn't given my appointment away and I was able to see the doctor and get my script.

But wouldn't you know it? My other script has expired! This is bad news, because it's stuff only a pyschiatrist can prescribe and as I said yesterday, I don't have one. Shiiit. And I'm not sure how to contact my old one, I mean I sent him an email but I've only got about a weeks worth of tablets left... Eek, why do I cut these things so close?

But on the upside I didn't have to wait long for my bus back to the Granny Flat, and it was a relief to be able to unpack my heavy bag. Man no wonder I have sore shoulders...

Then I planned to go back out to do my shopping, which I did...only to discover when I got to the checkout at Coles that I'd mananged to leave my wallet back at the flat! WTF, I don't even remember taking it out of my bag! So there was a brief bit of worry that I might have left it at the Pharmacy or on the bus or something...But when I made it back to the flat (taking a different bus route because it was quicker) there it was on the sideboard. Hmpf! So back out I went and enjoyed a lunch of $5 fish and chips at a shop - which is a good deal, I also got a can of soft drink, which I don't like but I got Pepsi Max for the next time I see M. Then I did my shopping at Coles and Aldi and headed back to the bus stop, where I discovered despite my lunch I still had nearly half an hour to wait for the bus that would drop me off just a few doors down from the flat. But I couldn't take the other one because the shopping bags were damn heavy, but I guess it wasn't too bad because I had my book to read.

So yeah, a productive day! Although I realised I forgot to get my Terrakyi sauce from Mum and Dad's do'h! So I've got chicken legs in the fridge that need to be cooked tomorrow and no yummy sauce to put on them. I attempted to find some Terrakyi sauce at Aldi because it'd probably be cheaper there, but no luck and the bags were too heavy for me to drag myself back up the travelators to Coles.

I suppose, with my Weekly Bus ticket I could ask Mum to bring the bottle to her work tomorrow and I could just go and get it, but...maybe I'll just cut my losses and buy another one. I have to go out tomorrow to drop off resumes and whatnot anyway.

Hmmm, I feel like I've forgotten to do something, but I have no idea what...so hopefully not anything important. Although I do have a library job to apply to! My mother found it in the weekend paper, I have no idea why it wasn't sent to my inbox though...that job searching mailing list sucks.

Also...there seems to be a complete lack of interest in the apartment! What the fuck? We're going to have to start paying money to get it on the first page if no-one replies soon.

Anyway, I better be off, I should start practicing going to bed earlier in case they want me to start delivering papers on Wednesday morning or something.

I bid you all goodnight!
