Making A Couple Of Purchases

anonymoose_au10:44pm: For the cosplay, ribbon, some lace and white fabric. I need to find a pink skirt though, I'm thinking of going to the Vinnies in Leichhardt because I was there a few months back and they had lots of formal type skirts there. I hope I can find something...I don't really want to go through eBay, who knows how long it'd take to arrive or if it would even fit properly!
And alas I've had trouble finding a circular box to make the hat from, so alas no progress on that. But what are you gonna do?
In other news, most of the Friday Memes seem to have disappeared! I wonder where they've got to. Ah well...at least that means I can wrap this entry up before midnight.
Well before midnight because I don't have anything else to say, the weather is still really crappy, which I hope is better tomorrow because I've got places to go!

Warming (or Cooling)
1. As the weather in the northern hemisphere begins to warm, how do your days and nights change? Well, it's getting cold down here, which means it gets dark almost as soon as I leave work, hmpf! I also had to get a blanket from my parents because it's too cold at night for just a bed sheet, but too hot in my apartment for a doona. And of course time to bust out the long pjs, scarves, Beanies, coats and gloves!
2. In what way do your dining habits change as the weather turns warm? Not all that much actually, although in winter I do tend to boil my vegetables rather than just have a salad.
3. What’s the best thing unrelated to weather about the warm-weather months? Daylight Savings, bitches!
4. What are some strategies for dealing with those especially unbearable warm nights? Luckily I've got a kick ass air con here in the apartment and my parents have air conditioning too, so I'm pretty much covered there. Also lots of cold water, light summer pjs and no doona
5. What words of encouragement do you have for the you of six months from now? Um, keep up the hard work and be social with the friends.
And...now I shall be off! Wish me luck tomorrow with my skirt hunting, the weather and my resume.
