Snip, Snip, Snip
Jan. 17th, 2014 11:44 pm11:06pm: Got my hair cut today! And as I washed it before going and didn't ask for it to blowdried straight it only cost me $30! Sweet! Plus it didn't take like an hour and a half like it normal does niiice. I had it cut to just below my shoulders, and man you should have seen all the hair on the salon floor! I almost asked if I could take a photo, but I figured that'd just be too weird a question to ask.
I went down the Marrickville Metro because I wanted to buy that Simpsons boxset at Sanity but for some reason the cost to buy it at the shop was $10 more expensive than on the website! And they didn't price match, weird. Plus there wasn't any postage when ordering it on the net, what's up with that? Anywho, long story short I've ordered in online, hopefully it won't take forever to arrive.
Also I got more cheese from Aldi! Yummy! Also they had these Cadbury Chocolate value packs there too, so I picked up some of those, and some more of those little Aussie flag covered chocolates for my parents to use at their Australia Day party.
Although it wasn't all fun, because as I was leaving the Metro and handing out yet another resume, I started to get a headache, which alas, got worse and worse and time went on. I realised I'd forgotten to take one of my daily medications so I took that, no dice...I took some paracetamol, but that didn't do much either. However it has thankfully abated, I wonder if I haven't been drinking enough water as it has been bloody hot these past few days. I'm not too sure about that because water is pretty much all I drink. Actually now I think on it, it might be a lack of food, I woke up late so only had lunch not breakfast. Must remember to eat healthy!
Also! My Aunt sent me an email today alerting me to an administration assistant position at her place of work! I must apply post-haste. It'd be kind of cool if I got the job because as we know, I worked with my Uncle Sam for a while, imagine if I ended up working in the same company as Aunt Weed!
I did however forget to call/email that place that was advertising for a junior, do'h.

Right, wrapped that up! I really do need to get onto working that assignment, but I'm thinking maybe I should ask Mum about it, because man last one was so bad...
Geeze, Deadly Women is getting creepy these days...I mean obviously it was always pretty bad with the murdering and all, but there's no need to get so bloody with the re-enactments here. This is not educational or providing an explanation of detective techniques used to track criminals down.
Oh yeah! In other news, I was very exciting when I was watching this British gameshow called Eggheads and they had a question relating to Back to the Future! OMG! Fan joy! Sadly I can't remember what the question was. They also asked something where the answer was George III. Heh, niiice!
Oh yeah! And I've been simming it up! It's finally winter in the Von Braun neighbourhood with lots of snow! Really cool stuff - heh pun intended.
And I found another DVD/VCR recorder at Vinnies...with a remote! So I bought it, which was kind of over the top, but it was only 18 bucks. My tapes still seem to play back with a lot of background hissing, but maybe it's because they're old? Dunno.
Okedoke, better be off! Much to do tomorrow including dinner at a friend's house as well as going to church and the gym.
