10:02pm: I was very much hoping that today would be the day that I would get to order my new laptop (which will probably not arrive until next Wednesday), but alas Dad is at a conference so wasn't able to do it. Also as it turns out Mum and Dad really want me to try and get the laptop through Dad's school so he can get 10% off and also get periodic non-interest repayments.

The problem is this probably won't be able to take place until July since Dad allready brought a computer for school. Which sucks ass because I hate this CRT screen with the passion of a thousand suns. I'm trying to write on a fanfic, but my eyes they be hurtin'.

In other news Style By Jury tonight is rather sad, the woman on this show lost her job because a client made horrible remarks about her teeth. Not quite sure whose a bigger fuckhead, the client or the boss. Is it even legal to fire someone because they have horrible teeth. That's terrible, I hope they're all ashamed of themselves.

And how sad this poor woman doesn't even like to laugh! That's terrible. Although it was seriously funny that they took her to a Laughter Coach (they've got coaches for everything) which made her cry, which you know really brought down the tone of the meeting. (Heh)

Manic Monday

You find that your best friend has stolen money to pay for medical treatment for a seriously ill relative. What would you do?

From me? Or from a Bank? Or from poor people or something, it really would depend. If it was from me, I'd let it go because hello, it's a serious illness. A bank or their job, well I dunno...I mean it's not like they did it for kicks, but it's still wrong. Don't know if I could turn them in, unless they hurt someone during the commission of the robbery.
If they stole from some poorer though, I'd probably have to speak up because that's totally not fair.
I'd offer to lend them money certainly in such a situation so I hope they'd ask first!

The Five Senses

1. What smell reminds you of your childhood?

Uhh...man, I've never really associated smells with memories to be honest. I associate smells with if something is yummy or not.

2. Would you ever consider getting laser eye surgery?

I'm kinda on the fence, I'm afraid of having a laser shone in my eyes for one thing and for another it's not 100% and frankly if I'm gonna have to wear glasses some of the time I'm better off to wear them all of the time because otherwise I'll just loose 'em.

3. What food do you love now, that took you a long time to develop a taste for?

I don't think there is any, because once I don't like a food, I don't like a food (man, I sound like a really inflexible person, don't I! I mean mentally as well as physically!)

4. Do you have sensitive skin? Is there any material that you don't like touching your skin?

Not sensitive as in I get hives and stuff, but I hate scratch fabric, really, really hate that shit.

5. Whose speaking voice is your favourite to listen to?

Not mine I can tell you that! I quite like Kelsey Grammar's (I've been watch Frasier) and Alan Rickman's and Colin Firth's of course (Heh heh that Mr. Darcy).

Well damn me if the chick on Style By Jury didn't turn out to be totally hawt, seriously! Just like those lameo books where the rather mousy looking person is suddenly transformed by a new haircut and taking off the glasses (they don't like the glasses...).

Well I didn't sleep enough so I better get me to bed.

Plus like I said this stupid screen sucks for eyeballs.

9:48pm: I'm watching Style By Jury again because hey there's nothing else really on and this is such a funny show.

Now I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but I just realised something, when the people go in for this show they realise that they're auditioning for a makeover show, hence they're hardly gonna show up in their best clothes or even bother putting on make-up or anything (not that I wear makeup anywho). So yeah...Although then again, you probably wouldn't look completely hideous knowing that you might be going on national TV.

Also, whats the deal with colouring people's hair on this show all the time? That pisses me off, I mean that means you've got to keep getting it coloured, because it'll look really dodgy when you're trying to grow the colour out. Also, what if you like your colour? They also like to cut your hair short, like just above the shoulder, which you can't really do with my hair because then it will puff out hugely, which is really very irritating.

And you know the makeup thing, be damned if I can be arsed to put on makeup every day to look good, especially the mascra, I'm not putting that thing near my eyeballs.

I'm quite sure I've all ready said all this stuff, so I shan't bore you any further with it.

This morning I got a bit of a shock because I forgot to reset my alarm after staying at the parental's place so I woke up 20 minutes late! Fortunately for me, I managed to get out of the apartment in time...well at least so I was only 5 minutes late. More fortunately, neither my boss or female co-worker were there so I didn't get my ass kicked. But I have to reset that alarm lest nasty things go down.

I've just finished making the cake for Dad's birthday tomorrow, yum! I love cakes!

Which is a good segue into my next mission finding a gym to go to since with all this cake eating I'm risking a future of oversizeness. On M's instructions I went and visited the local Curves, which looks interesting, but has the problem of having a kind of contract thing going on. Like if you join it has to be for 12 months minimium. I hate concrete...thingies, especially ones I have to pay for because it makes it a bit of a high pressure situation for me. I feel like I have to go so as not to waste money, hence I get all nervous and stuff and feel like I can't do, but I have to and it's not very comfortable.

Also, it involves working on machines, I'd perfer a stretch class what with my overall lack of flexibility and body strength. Having said this though, they don't have those stretch classes at UTS anymore, which really bums me out, that was a popular class I swear!

My grandmother has offered to pay for me to go to this gym, although that doesn't really make me feel less locked into it.

Hey, the chick on Style By Jury right now works at a Curves gym, LOL, ironic, should I take this as a sign?

Also, I'm rather confused about the test for this particular candidate, like she wants to work in a spa, so they take her to one as a guest, but then judge her in terms of how she would be as an employee. Now, not surprisingly when one is at a spa, one is relaxed and quiet, it's hardly a fair test! Also I noticed that apparently what they want at the spa is talkative staff. Don't you hate it when you go get your hair cut and stuff and the person just talks and talks at you? When you're clearly not interested? Pain in the ass.

Don't really eat Chinese food unless Mum happens to be ordering it, because...I'm just not the sort. But when Mum is ordering I like to have dim sum and rice with the prawns in it.

Well, my own duh! Seriously, who else's would I? :OP But I look into what the candidates are standing for and whatnot.

I've been waiting eagerly for the mail every day since I've started buying stuff on Ebay, in particular I'm expecting a whole batch of stuff to come in this week. This afternoon I went downstairs to see if anything had come. Alas no. And this was rather late in the afternoon so I figurd I'd have to wait 'til tomorrow, so I decided what the Hell I'll go walk up to the Centrelink (I've been rather lax with my exercise latey) to drop my form in.

So I did that and stopped by Coles to get fruits and vegetables and some Cheese Wedges and caught the buses back home where I took a look over at the mailbox and saw a little blue bordered bit of a paper in there. A Post Office Pick Up thing! Apparently the guy had come by very late and since I wasn't there he couldn't leave the package! Now this was at 5pm and you'd think that a Post Office would stay open 'til 5:30, I could have sworn they did, so I leapt into the car and drove on down, but it was closed! I'm SO annoyed! Even more so, because the roads of Newtown can be a bitch you can't turn around easily, so it ended up taking 10 minutes to get back home.

Hmpf! Even more annoying this Post Office doesn't compenstate for closing before most people can get out of work by opening early in the mornings, I told M who I'm going to see tomorrow, that I'd leave at 9am, but that's when the Post Office opens! And I really, really want to get those books. I don't know, though, I'll have to walk up there because it's hard to park, sigh! I'm going to end up getting away half an hour later. Well...on the plus side I think the peak hour traffic would still be kinda bad at nine anywya, so it might all work out.

LOL, now I'm watching Style By Jury about this woman who's a pet pyschic (whatever) the point is, the Clothing Consultant brought his dog along, and it was a sausage dog! Ah, I love sausage dogs! Well, as much as I can like a dog, they're so funny. :O) Plus, you gotta love that name.

Alas, I'm still bummed about my package, what's the deal with the postpeople? They don't seem to have general time when they come, sometimes it's early in the morning, other times it's late in the afternoon! Sometimes I even here and they still leave the little card there. Oh well, it's probably difficult for them to commit to a time and it's not like I'd read those books right away anyway. But I shall get it tomorrow!

Today I decided to put on Albert the Tuxedo Dress because err...I felt like it...but alas I could not take a picture because all my batteries are dead and I don't seem to have a charger anymore, how annoying. Although, I was somewhat concerned by the fact it was slightly tight just under the chest area, it's fine as long as I stand up, but after sitting down for a while it's rather uncomfortable.

Well, I forgot about this entry and now it's almost 6.30!

I better get going because I'm hoping to play some Sims 2, I've been neglecting it for other things for a while now. So onward!
