Well This Is A Bit Alarming...

9:55pm: So this afternoon just before I headed down to the pyschiatrist my throat started to feel dry and scratchy. I drank lots of water, but it only seemed to get worse, so I moved up to lozenges - didn't work either. My poor old throat just started to feel worse and worse, hurting when swallowing and such. Finally I took some paracetamol (because we didn't have an soluable asprin that wasn't expired by 7 years) and gargled salt water, but alas the throat is still sore! This does not bode well at all. I should take some vitamin C before I go to bed, just in case.
In other news, I was saddened to discover the Fit, Firm and Flexible class was more a step class than anything else, thus I don't think it's really right for me. However! There's a class called Stretch and Strength on Fridays and Sundays - I'll try that one out on Sunday at 4pm and see if it's more like I'm looking for. Apart from anything else step classes make you sweat a gallon and I also have this weird problem where I keep doing the opposite leg to everyone else in the class, it throws me off! Plus, you know, not enough stretching in general. I hope my throat won't be bothering me on Sunday otherwise I'll have to wait until Friday to try out the class!
Anyway regarding the pyschiatrist I asked him about my driving over the bridge fear which has come back to haunt me again, especially with Mum wanting me to pick her up next Sunday from the airport. He gave me a few suggestions and I actually had the chance to try them out this evening, except it was kind of short notice, so didn't really work, I'll have to look into though!
The reason it cropped up was because the little bro came by for a visit this evening (good news indeed since he didn't show up yesterday) and he needed me to drive him to my parents bank to get some money for him to pay his rent and yeah driving anxiety! I was going to drive him down to North Sydney close to the train station, but instead we went to the branch in Neutral Bay and he caught the bus instead. Bah! Annoying!
I also got some soluable asprin while I was out and in a quarter of an hour I should be able to gargle it, which will hopefully make sleeping easier.
And now Memes:
Friday Four
This week’s statements:
1. I used to enjoy trampoling but now I don’t really anymore except for when I watch other people do it on TV, LOL.
2. My first job was delivering pamphlets...not much money to be made there.
3. I am a bit obsessed with Merlin at the moment.
4. If I don’t have my proper sheets at night, I don’t sleep well
Friday5
A Stitch in Time
1. What was your first wristwatch like? I seem to recall it being pink, or at least having a pink band, but I can't really remember right now.
2. What lately seems to have been a thief of time? Online tetris! The bastard. :OP
3. What were yesterday’s quietest five minutes like? Pretty fab thanks.
4. In what way have you lately been saving time? Uh, gee, I have no idea...due to a lack of job hours I have quite a lot of time and thus don't really need to save any.
5. We are often charged hourly rates for labor, but we never get to reciprocate in kind when promised completion times don’t match actual completion. If you could bill people for the time you spend waiting, what would be a reasonable amount? Depends what I'm missing, like if I can't go to work because I have to wait for the telephone man and I don't get personal days I'd want the same hourly rate as what I earn!
And now I have about seven minutes to wait before I can gargle that asprin, come on asprin!
For now though, I'm off!
Oh and I applied to that job after some help from my online friend, the fingers and toes are not crossed!
Goodnight!
