anonymoose_au10:31pm: Back to the Future! Samoa skips a day! Yes, in Samoa right now it's Thursday, but when they wake up tomorrow it's going to be Saturday! They've decided to cross the the internation dateline to join us eastern hemispherians. Although I have no idea what the deal with Kiribati (pronouced ki-ra-bas for some reason) is, apparently they jumped over in 2000 to be first to ring in the new millenium and just never changed back. How weird is that? You can just rock up to the UN and announce you've changed your timezone no matter how ridiculous that is?
But fun fact! I heard on the news that even though Friday is being skipped, all workers will recieve their Friday pay :OD LOL, how cute.
Speaking of Saturday, it's a work day for me, so I should get myself to bed earlier than later tonight. Although I hope I'm still starting at 10 rather than 9:30am, I guess I will be because tomorrow is a huge Lotto day ($31 million dollar jackpot) so there's going to be people everywhere! Gotta have a clearhead.

Happy New Year to all of you!!! And...here we go!
1. Wait, wait it's the end of 2011 all ready?! Bloody time!
2. I like my way of thinking, even if it is a little different.
3. In addition, I need to do my laundry.
4. The best fireworks display in the world is the way we do it here!
5. At the end of the year, I like to see above fireworks display, good times, good times.
6. Getting my Masters degree is one of the things I'm looking forward to in 2012.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hanging out on the net a bit, tomorrow my plans include working for the MAN and helping my father at church and Sunday, I want to take in the firework display! :OD!

Closing Time
1. What business establishment’s recent closing was the most disappointing for you? Well, I was really sorry to see Borders go - that was this year I think? - they had a lot of choice there.
2. At what place of business or service are you most likely to be the day’s last customer out the door? Gee...I dunno...I could say the newsagency, because on Monday I work until closing time, LOL.
3. What place of business or service seems to be closed at times inconvenient to you? Well, prior to swapping banks, those - some of them closed at 4pm on a weekday! Bloody ridiculous, how are you supposed to get in and do your thing if you don't have time during lunch?
4. Where in the real world (not online) will you most likely spend your last 2011 money? Coles and/or Franklins, because they're supermarkets and everyone needs food.
5. What business or service has been the biggest blessing to you because it is always open? Well, in Newtown places often stay open late, which is great because sometimes I forget to go out until after 9pm and you need eats.

Holiday Presents
1. How much are you looking to spend on holiday gifts this year? I dunno, I'm kind of a cheapskate, especially this year what with the lack of a full time job and all.
2. If you have a pet, will you be buying them anything? N/A
3. What is the most expensive item on your holiday "wish list"? Eh, I'm not picky.
4. Does you or your family have any special Christmas/holiday traditions that take place every year? Well, usually we have a family Christmas dinner, but as Grandpa and my mother are away on a cruise that didn't happen this year. Dad made a kickass Christmas lunch for himself, me and a friend of mine though! :O)
5. What was the best Christmas/holiday gift you ever received? A Christmas is England! It even snowed, that was totally cool! Although it was also the Christmas I found out Santa wasn't really, which was quite upsetting, but still I wouldn't change it for the world!
Right, not much else to report, except I went to Chatswood to use some Myer gift cards I got in order to buy a new bra. They've gone and changed colours so any beige ones wouldn't match the underpants I all ready have, and there was a complete lack of decent green ones. So! I settled for purple, which I think makes me look pretty sharp LOL.
After that I went to visit my friend and we had to help some people with an old lady who had fallen down. She was OK in the end, which is good!
And that's all I have to say for today!
