anonymoose_au10:36pm: Well I have to get my ass to bed, I have to help Mum tomorrow and she wants to leave the house at 8:30am, considering I didn't get a very good night's sleep last night I'm all ready tired so I'll have to turn in early so I can catch up!
Not much to report, although my poor stomach seemed to be sore (which was why I couldn't sleep well) I thought it might have been from the disgusting sight of my parents' dog having left a mess on the floor. But I dunno...
So I was feeling icky this morning but once I got to the library things were pretty good, more book covering to be done. Although I was only there for three hours. But that gave me plenty of time to get my application for the Lane Cove Library.
I've also got a job interview on Monday at Manly Council in the record department, exciting stuff!

1. "I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." When are you are at you’re best?
Umm...I guess when I feeling happy and in a good place, which could happen at all sorts of different times. Probably mostly in the afternoon - I'm an afternoon type of person.
2. "Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." Do you ever think that you are boring?
Well not to myself, but other people probably think I am! But to Hell with that.
3. "A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left." Did you ever break off a relationship because you wanted to be the one to do it?`
N/A.
4. "It's better to be unhappy alone than unhappy with someone." Do you feel that she is correct?
Hmmm, well...neither's very good at all, but I can't really judge which is worse...they're both equally bad in their own way. I suppose with the latter it's possible that you might be have an ally, but it depends.
5. "Ever notice how 'What the hell' is always the right answer?" What was the last thing that you didn’t plan on doing but then thought, “What the hell!”?
LOL, for a minute there I thought she meant it as an expression of surprise like "What the Hell is this shit?" But in terms of how she actually meant it...hmmm...I'm not very adventerous...but I applied to that Record job at Manly Council after going 'What the Hell' because I wasn't sure I was right for it.
6. "We should all start to live before we get too old. Fear is stupid. So are regrets." Do you have any major regrets?
Major ones? Nah, although...I really wish I'd gotten another job line up before I got my arse fired.
7. "What do I wear in bed? Why, Chanel No. 5, of course." What do you wear to bed?
Depends...either my Homer fannel pjs or boxer shorts and singlet, although I've taken to just wearing a t-shirt in the Spring and Autumn.
8. "It’s better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what your not." Have you ever pretended to be someone you are not because it was easier?
Nah, I suck at that sort of thing.
9. "I am invariably late for appointments - sometimes as much as two hours. I've tried to change my ways but the things that make me late are too strong, and too pleasing." Are you usually on time for events or appointments?
I'm generally late, because I lose track of time or underestimate how long it will take. But when it comes to job interviews, you have to be on time so I try very hard to make sure I get there on time.
10. "Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about." What makes you smile?
Lots of stuff! Writing, surfing the net, reading, comedies, talking with friends, a sunny day, etc. etc.
It's sad Marilyn said that though, since she was often so unhappy and died so young...shame

What silly bands shape do you WANT ??
I'm not even sure what those are, but from what's written in the intro I assume it's some sort of bracelet thing that comes in various shapes. I'd like a dolphin shaped one and a penguin one, that'd be niiice.
What else do you want this week? Share it all.
Um...hmm...well a good night sleep and also I have to get my mother a birthday present (shower cap) and Dad a Father's Day gift (not sure what...)
In other news...terrible news! The Bill is coming to an end! How lame is that? I love that show! For shame, BBC, for shame...

Day 09 – Your beliefs, in great detail
Ooo! I've been looking forward to this one! My beliefs are a bit of a mismash.
I'm a Catholic and I enjoy going to church every week when I can. There's a lot of things the Church says that I agree with, but then there's two big ones that I don't, which are:
Women not being able to be priests
Homosexuals and other members of the GLTB community not allowed to marry or adopt
The first one's a bit of a no-brainer, there's no reason women shouldn't be priests, it may not have been viable in Jesus's time because of the lack of equality, but one hopes we've progressed a lot further than that! I think there's a lot of women out there who'd make great priests.
The second one is rather important to me, I think it's something the Church has to change its mind on, because if you're going to say it's an unforgivable sin based on what's in the Old Testament there's a whole lot of things that are a sin - including bizarrely enough wearing polyester! I mean most sins in the Bible have some sort of reasonableness behind them, but being against homosexuality is just plain intolerance and unfairness. You can't control who you love and love often leads to people bettering themselves and those around them, so to deny the GLTB community that opportunity is wrong. People deserve to be happy.
So I'm not conservative in that sense, but in other ways, I am, I'm not comfortable with embroyonic stem cell research or abortion, not because I want to punish people but because I think embroyoes are unique life and need special consideration because of that. I wouldn't judge, but nor would I be able to advise someone to get an abortion or have embroyonic stem cell therapy if they asked me for my opinion. (Why they would I dunno, but fair warning to them!)
I'm also not big on the whole 'converting the unbelivers' thing, I mean, one time these Jehovah's Witnesses came to the door and I didn't really appreciate them telling me I wasn't Christian because I'm Catholic. Plus, I really REALLY believe that God will judge people on their actions, I mean if a truly repentant murderer can get into Heaven, someone who doesn't believe but has been a good person all their life should as well. I mean damn, that's harsh.
In closing, I like to follow the main instruction of Jesus: 'Love your neighbour as you love yourself.' True facts.
