Itchiness!

anonymoose_auThis morning not long after I woke up my arm felt itchy, and now I've got welts and itchness, but I have no idea what could have bit me! Plus I forgot to bring anti-itch cream to the apartment with me, and I don't really want to buy another tube because we've all ready got some. But I may have to if it's still itchy tomorrow.
In other news, I may be out tomorrow because it's the election and applied to work at one of the polling places (you get paid for that). I'm on the alternate list so I might get a call up tomorrow morning.
Which also means I have to go to bed shortly because voting starts at 8am so I would probably get a call way earlier than that.

If someone was visiting your town for the first time, what local things would you make sure to show them/have them experience?
The Harbour of course! :OD Most beautiful harbour in the world and if you come in during New Year's Eve you can see the fireworks! Also the best in the world.

1. How picky are you about toothpaste? Not super picky, but I hate spearmint, it burns I tell you.
2. What’s the best cooked dish you’ve had that included mint? I don't like mint at all, so none.
3. How far would you have to go from where you are right now to get a breath mint? If it's mint flavoured I'm not going anywhere for it.
4. Got any gum? Nay, I used to have some fruit-flavoured gum, but I'm not sure where it went.
5. What’s something you keep in mint condition? My books if I can manage it, but I usually can't.

Q1 - Stop and Count: How many cosmetics or personal care products do you use over the course of an average day? Well aside from shower wash and deordourant, nothing else.
Q2 - Deeds: What percentage of good deeds do you feel you do out of generosity versus the ones you do out of the avoidance of guilt? Ummm...I don't really do good deads out of guilt, although I really should donate some money to Pakistan.
Q3 - Find Me: Facebook launched a location-based check-in tool this week called Places. Similar to Foursquare, Facebook Places allows you to share where you are, find out where your friends are and discover new places. Would you want your friends and others on Facebook to know where you are? Well, most of them know where I am, but I wouldn't want the person on the street to know!
Q4 - Happiness: A couple of years ago (on April 18, 2008) I asked "How do you define happiness?" Mixing it up a bit, what do you believe is the secret to you happiness? Not sweating the small stuff too much...or something like that.

1. What's your favorite playing card game? Why? Canaaasta! Because it's a kick arse card game! Even if I can't seem to win against M, even when I'm ahead!
2. Poker: five card draw, seven card stud, or Texas Hold 'Em? I don't know how to play poker, it doesn't really look like my bag.
3. Where gambling is involved what is the highest amount of money you'd bet on a hand of cards? N/A.
4. Have you ever had your tarot read with playing cards? If not would you want to? If so was it accurate, interesting, or just plain lame? Nah, I tried to read my own cards once, but considering I didn't actually know anything I was just making up shit.
5. What is on the back of your playing cards (the swirly red/blue design or is it a specialty deck with photographs)? I've got lots of different cards, but they're none of them are really fancy, at least on the back. The canasta cards M and I use are Japanese themed.

Not much else to report, except I've got a job interview on Monday, fingers and toes crossed yet again!
