Well That Was A Cock Up!

anonymoose_au11:27pm: It sure was! This evening Mum came to the apartment to drop off some stuff and also pick me up. However, a series of events resulted in me locking us out of the apartment with all my stuff still inside!
As you can imagine I was horrified by this entire thing, I'd left all the lights and TV on, not to mention I'd left my bag in there! The problem with the building is there are two different types of keys needed to get in, one for the main door and lift and one for the actual apartment itself.
Now, as it turned out my big bro had a spare apartment door key and I had a buzzer to get in the garage it was just a matter of waiting for someone to come by who lived there and get me into the lift.
This can be a dodgy prospect, but luck was on my side and no sooner had I parked my car (I had to drive back there after Mum and I came home) then a fellow apartment dwellered pulled into the underground garage.
So a big PHEW! Now remember kids, always keep your keys on your person at all times.
However, all this has meant I'm still 1,014 short on today's NaNo goal, which really does suck! I should have worked on it more, but I was busy today running around Centrelink. Apparently, I don't qualify for special assistance and have to wait 7 more weeks to access any services such as interview techniques. Hmpf, sucks!
Still I get writing now and see what I can do!
Right OK, didn't make it...and I also missed an LJ day too! Whoops.
Although now that I'm sitting here looking at the table and everything on the offical website maybe I'm not behind after all...It's kind of hard to read.
In that case, oh good!
Anywho, here's where I am.

Well today's over, but for Thursday that I've got a job at a library! That'd sure rock.
Ah well, one can dream.
Righto then, goodnight!
