Uh-Oh....Late Nights Equal Sore Eyes
Dec. 13th, 2012 10:42 pm10:43pm: Yes indeed, due to my inability to go to bed at the right hour, my eyeballs were very rebellous today. At first I thought it was my new glasses causing the problem, but fortuantely I realised it was the lack of zzz's doing it.
Actually I was a bit concerned my glasses weren't working right this morning - they've got transition lenses in them now so in the sunlight they darken to prevent squinting, but when I got into the office this morning things seemed quite dim...I finally realised though it was just because most of the blinds in the office had been pulled down, LOL.
Anyway, due to my lack of planning Memes continue to remain elusive, although I am at least keeping on top of Thursday, in fact here it is now!

So … you’ve just finished reading a book. For the sake of the discussion, we’ll say it was everything a book should be—engaging, entertaining, interesting, thought-provoking. The kind you want to gush over. The question is—do you immediately move on to your next book? Or do you take time to contemplate this writerly masterpiece and all its associated thoughts/emotions/ideas for a while first?
I usually go on to the next one, but admittedly I often read books that are part of a series, so it makes sense too! If it's really good I probably will think about it a lot, imagine what the characters got up to afterwards, stuff like that. Sometimes I might even go and re-read some of my favourite parts of the book, just to relive the fun. Also now that I'm on Goodreads.com I'll make sure to leave a review for it :O)
In other news, I was going to app Arthur to a new game, I even reserved him, I got one extension because NaNo left me so busy, but I think I missed the deadline again, whoops. I suppose I could try reserving again, or you know, just get off my ass and write the actual app, LOL.
And finally, I'm so annoyed, my finger slipped while I was looking at something on the My Little Pony game and I accidentally spent four gems. Rude.
And now I really am off to bed, goodnight!
