That Horse Just Gave up the Goat!
Aug. 8th, 2012 11:10 pm10:57pm: Actually, I think the saying is gave up the ghost, but the horse isn't actually hurt or anything and I thought that sounded better. Anyway, the point is I'm watching the Equestrian (Aus has a medal hope in it!) and one of the Dutch rider's horse's has decided "Screw you guys, I'm going home." So off he and his rider go, LOL. I discovered the horses get little rosette things but not medals, but hopefully they also get a lot of hay and yummy apples too!
Speaking of horses, I went to Big W today planning to buy some new swimmers, but I couldn't find them, I probably should have just asked, but yeah, that didn't occur to me. I did however find the My Little Pony toys and decided what the Hell I'll get me a Pinkie Pie :O), which I did. Only problem? The mane and tail are all wrong! Fortunately I found a tutorial online about how to get it to look right. I was going to try it out tonight, but I have no straws so it'll have to wait 'til tomorrow. I'll post my results!
Which reminds me, I'm supposed to put up those pictures of the drawers I saw at the Antique fair, but I've kind of run out of time again oops. But I haven't forgot I promise!
And finally our fifth gold, whoopee! I watched the event, a sailing one called the 49, I couldn't figure out how it works, but yeah, gold whoo! :OD Watch out Kazikistan (seems the weightlifting really brought them through).
And on that note I better be off, bed calls! I stayed up a bit too late last night with the USB recording stuff and all, but I can't do that tonight!
Oh I almost forgot, no gym for me today because I had to trek all the way to Newtown to get the money for the carspace and the traffic just sucked! But I got the $600 for six months and I also picked up the mail so that was good.
