My Eyes, the Goggles Do Nothing!

4:16pm: You know what sucks? Dry eyeballs, I've got them now and I don't know why. I've also got a headache, except it's most centred on and around my left temple. I've taken some paracetamol, two this time, so hopefully it'll kick in sooner rather than later.

In other news, when I got up this morning I had a serious pain in my gluteus maximus, otherwise known as the butt muscle. I ask you who pulls their butt muscle?

But on the upside my wrist has recovered and with that new program telling me to take a break every three minutes I can type without fear of reprisal.

I will say though, that today on a whim I went to the Glebe Street Fair - since I heard about it on the radio and I found out that the Chaser Boys - or three of them would be signing copies of their new book! I brought said book and got it signed! How exciting! :OD

Right I need to rest my eyes, so I'll be off now.

Hey, I Don't Remember That Scene....

10:12pm: My mother watched A Room With A View which was on the ABC tonight - we did that book in English at High School and watched the movie (which was a good thing because I never actually finished the book and hence would not have been able to pass the test otherwise), I was busy working on the NaNo, but I went down for ice cream during the ending scenes and it was total 'let's get it on' French movie on the SBS stuff! I remember the scene where all the guys jump in the lake naked, but I didn't recall that.

Of course having checked the Wikipedia page I realise why, it was a new adaption, from the guy who adapted Pride & Prejudice starring our own Colin Firth. Can't say he took such liberties with that as he did with this. Room With A View was written in 1908, when books didn't have sex scenes...well not respectable ones that is.

Anywho, I'm rambling...it's bed time, so I shall post my NaNo Wordcount and hit the hay.

Go me! Although like I might have mentioned before I think I'm going to run out of story before I get to 50,000, I may have to pad it out. This will definitely make editing harder, since I want to put it up as my first lenghty BTTF fanfic. But eh, who knows, the padding I stick in might turn out to be worth keeping!
