Well, Beans...
Aug. 31st, 2006 12:11 amI've stayed up too late again! Considering I have work tomorrow, this is good because I didn't think it was going to happen, however I didn't get around to calling my Work for the Dole person so I'll have to do that tomorrow...They were supposed to call me though...so I don't think I'm scheduled to go anyway. This reminds me though, on Monday at the meeting the person told me about this interesting position, at a newsletter, actually writing stuff for it! How exciting! The only weird thing is it's for a prison. I'm not sure if it's a high-security prison or what, which kinda makes me wonder what excatly I'm supposed to write! Not a romance story evidentally! LOL!
Anway, let's bring on the Meme!
Wednesday Mind Hump
Geeks Of the World Unite!
Hey apparently it was National Geek Day, well kiss my grits! I'm glad I played some Sims 2! :OD
Star Wars or Star Trek?
Eh, I don't really care, although I love that song about Captain Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise, so Star Trek wins.
Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter?
Harry all the way, baby! I can't wait for the last book, the movies were much better then LotR which I never did read because they were just too boring...sorry Tolkien, Rowling pwns you. :OP
Internet Explorer or Firefox?
Firefox! Yay! :OD I love it now with the tabs and everything.
iPod shuffle or iPod Nano?
Neither, I have a bias against Apple.
Camera phone or mp3 phone?
I'd rather have an radio phone, so I can listen to it at work (particularly since I discovered today my earphones from my walkperson are broken). However, if my phone had a really good camera I'd be all over that.
Dilbert or Jon from "Garfield"?
Jon! LOL! Poor Jon! He has to deal with Garfield, he can't get a date and his family is pretty shocking! But he gets some great lines still. :O)
And the Big One: Mac or PC?
PC, baby! As I said I have a bit of a bias against Macs, I mean they're pretty, but they just seem so hard to use! The programs don't seem to be straight forward and I still haven't got over the mouses we had at my Uni, with no buttons. WTF?! You need buttons! Plus...I like Bill Gates, I don't care what anyone says (that man gives a lot to the poor).
Yawn! Well, I better turn in, although I must tell you I made some eyes for Sims 2 today, I tried to do it once before but I had a blank on how to do it really, but I realised how to use the Lasso tool to my advantage and so I made the eyes. They're blue-green, and look very nice if I do say so myself...whoo! I've got mad computer skillz. Indeed my statement about being a fast learner is true, which is good stuff since I put in my resume, along with "attention to detail" which I'm still not sure if I should have put in. I mean, I sort of am...but in the work environment I seem to make so many mistakes...
Well, anyway, gotta be off now! Night!
