Today's quote is for Simmies! I played them tongiht after a long absence and it's so nifty to get into the swing of things! Although I'm having trouble figuring out my timeline which is a bit wonky, I had to delete (after backing up) on of my mooseys_sims update because it has to be tweaked to fit everything. Ah dang!

Anywho I played George's mother's family, which was originally just supposed to have two children in it Delae and Georgio (who has to die...how morbid!), but everyone was hankering from a grandchild, or a child, or a new family member so I've given Delae a sister, Marietta. I figure I'll use her instead of Claire (who was just some friend I made up for Delae) to support George's mother when the going gets tough in later Sim years.

Hmmm...Foxtel tonight seems to be intensely interested in bridges, there were shows on them on both the Discovery and Nat Geo Channels, I choose to watch the one on Nat Geo 'cause it was about a very interesting new kind of bridge in Greece whereas the one on Discovery was about making a new bridge in America.

Hey, somthing on ADHD on Lifestyle, as a sufferer (would you call suffering?) I'm quite intrigued by this jazz, although it's really become quite epidemic and it's hard to know if people are just doing the easy route by giving 'em some kind of label. But I dunno...if the medication works...and it should only work on ADHD kids anyway. Although I was still majorly pissed when I found out what I'm taking is actually addictive, the doc didn't even tell me! For shame!

Anywho! I'm at the parentals at the mo because tomorrow I have to be here so the people who are delievering the door can get in, I hope they don't arrive too late because I've got stuff to do! Interviews and all that jazz! Wrings hands a bit.

Oh I Do Love Temptation!

7:03pm: But I don't love my head right now...this morning, Mum woke me up (as she is wont to do) too freaking early, so as a result I was pretty tired and as a result of that my right eyeball was hurting, seriously...It also ended up making my poor right temple hurt too...I decided to ignore it as I usually do with headaches.

Anywho, the guy game with the door, I paid him and then I decided to head back to the apartment because I much perfer to do my stuff here, although it smells weird in here, I don't know why, I did the washing up before I left and I didn't leave any food out...I wonder what it could be, although it comes a lot less noticable the more you stay in here.

Anyway, I eventually took two paracetamol because I did have an interview to go to and I didn't want my poor head to be aching in that. But they don't seem to have worked, and in fact I ended up with a stomachache! Pain in the ass! It's occurred to me rather embarrassingly as I got home why I might not be getting jobs, my appearance! I mean I'm not showing up to interviews in trackpants, but my hair is well known to be messy and that weird sore on the corner of my lip is still there and it's hard to budge it. I can't believe this has escaped me all this time! But in order to actually look very professional like in my default icon I'd have to spend two hours straightening my hair everyday! Plus wear more makeup that I've ever worn before! :Oo Dear me, what a mess! I wonder if I should tell Mum of my theory, though I don't know if she'll have any good advice, I mean besides from what I've just mentioned.

Oh what a blow the current champ didn't make it! I really liked him, he had a tendency to flich all the time when answering a question...it was a bit of a running joke because it looked like he might have a heart attack! Of course now I've written it out it sounds like an assholey thing to say, but whatever.

Hmmm...my headache seems to be have gone away, but now I'm confused...I hate it when my brain does that.

Well whatever, I'm gonna watch What's Good for You, they're looking into waxing vs shaving...which they've done on Catalyst and I discovered much to my annoyance that apparently it really doesn't make a difference. I've never shaved my legs in my life due to Mum's belief that waxing leads to less hair growth...waxing hurts like a bitch and those epliator thingies aren't much better. Although, I still haven't shaved my legs, so whatever.

Anyway, I'm rambling here, so I'm gonna stop before an idito of myself...although it may be too late. :OP

That's Disgusting!

I'm watching Cold Case and tonights episode features a guy been executed by the state despite the fact that the arresting cop was found to be crooked and at least one big piece of evidence was found to be bogus! Now I know it's just a TV show, but I'm sickened! I can't believe any decent, moral human being would allow themselves to be party to such a depraved act as to execute someone. And as this show illustrates if someone is innocent and you kill them you can't take it back...Not ever, it's one thing to jail an innocent person for years and year, it's another to kill them! The justice system is there to...I don't know how to describe it, but it's not for revenge, damnit!

All I can say I hope that anyone who's ever been involved in a Death Penalty Case will take a good hard look at themselves, frankly I get the feeling they won't like what the see. Somone who killed someone for revenge.

This of course reminds me of poor Van Nguyen in Singapore...I still can't believe they did that, it's bloody sick!

And I know that there are criminals so awful you really want to kill them, but you can't give into that! I mean geeze, take the moral highground! Be snooty about it! But for fuck sakes don't become the very thing that you profess to hate. A killer.
