anonymoose_au: (Ants At a Picnic)
11:30pm: I don't know what I've done to myself...I mentioned last night my shins were hurting, well this morning I woke up and they were fine, but as soon as I moved my feet I had terrible pain across the top of them. Moving them in any direction it's really painful and walking is horribly painful unless I do it for a while, but then when I stop my feet hurt worse than ever.

What the fuck? I've never had anything like this before and I have no idea how it could have happened, I mean I know I didn't a bit of walking in the City on Monday, but you'd think after been laid up for about week, hardly doing any walking at all that I'd be well rested. Unless...oh dear...my feet have become too well rested and now they're weak! Oh man...I all ready have weak wrists and outer thigh muscles, do I have to add feet into this equation? Well, at least I have a real excuse not to work in any field where I've got to stand up for extended periods.

The net however is been strangely unimformative about what exactly this is...there's articles on arch pain, shin splits, and so forth but I'm talkin about actual pain on the top of my foot just where it joins to the rest of the leg. You'd think someone would have buggered up that at some point...alas I have no idea what to call it so I can't get any advice on how to prevent it. Man this will probably result in me returning to the doctor's...I've also got a problem, I'm meant to go back to the Job Find place to redo the contract...but do I really want to go walking? I mean even if I catch as many buses as I can, it's still gonna be uncomfortable...Maybe I should call it off if the feet still really hurt tomorrow. 'Cause I'm not kidding they hurt like a mofo if I try to extend my foot or pull it back. It ain't fun.

And Now It's That Time of an Evening! Memes! )

Ahh, so close to posting before midnight...ah well, what can you do? But now I must sign off and get my ass to bed, I've been staying up too late lately, it's is not to continue! So to you all, I say, goodnight!

anonymoose_au: (You Get a Job!)
7:00pm: You know, I really should have known when to quit reading that website, I mean my eyes were feeling grainy and everything, but oh nooo I just had to keep going and now they really hurt like a mofo! Stupid red text on a black background, I'm surprised people haven't complained yet...I can't barely see now my eyes have teared up so much. Of course, this is probably just a testament to me spending waaaay too much time on the computer...ah alas.

Moving on, when I said on Monday "Oh man. I think I have shin splints..." once again that wasn't a challenge, but the feet were still exceeding painful this morning, so I drove down to the doctor, who I'm sure is sick of seeing me to ask her what was going on. She diagnoised tendonitis and told me it was probably my new shoes causing the problem. Well, fuckety fuck...I spend ages trying to find a decent pair of shoes, I returned two other pairs in my hunt for that pair. What the Fuck is wrong with shoes these days? Or are my muscles and tendons really that fucked up? I demand a refund! Not from Myer, from God damnit! I'm 22 years old I should be able to walk unmolested by muscle pain. Bitch! }:O(

In other news...I have something that my parents are not going to want to hear...the Land and Marine people called today to see if I'd recovered, I said I had and we discussed the taking of the job and they called my bluff. I can't deny it..I can't deny that I can't do that job...or at least I feel I can't. So...I'm not gonna get it. And I have no other job prospects. Fuck, fuck...was this a stupid idea? Should I call the place back and try to convince them to let me back in...I don't know what to do! On the one hand part of the reason I don't want to take the job is I'm as afraid of letting them down as I am of been stuck there. Beyond that when I had to work in the urine-soaked Hell hole that was Coles Supermarket I actually came close to having a mental breakdown...no joke. So, with a job with SO much more pressue and so many hours will surely wear me down. But my mother is going to kill me, she's really going to kill me...I may have to chuck a little bro and well...lie, until I get a job elsewhere. But if the job doesn't pay as much I'll be fucked...(gee lot of swearing going on here) because Mum arranged my rent at the apartment with the idea that I'd be getting like $40,000 a year or something.

Damn you all!

Mum just called up actually, she wants someone to pick her up again, Burg can't do it and I am in pain...pain! It's not so much driving a car that's the problem it's the walking to where it is and getting in, it hurts, it really really hurts...This is so damn (for the last time really) fucked up! Oh hey! I know I can call up that woman my mother went to about her leg problems, I've been meaning too but now that I'm in pain I can probably get an earlier appointment and you know actually demonstrage how my problem is affected me. Or is that effecting?

Anyway...Quiz

JFK
You scored 17 Positive, 4 Negative, 14 Active, and 7 Passive!
A gifted orator and confident leader, like JFK, you have what it takes on the surface to lead.

Still, you may have some personal or political reservations about
actively involving yourself in making sweeping changes to what is wrong
and needs to be fixed.

Bill Clinton may also fit this category.

I wonder what Bush is? Backseat Passenger perhaps? He doesn't seem to look into stuff when it's passed on to him, like Iraq or the Hurricane Katrina situation, our government appears to be the same, at least that's their claim, but I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. But I actually don't think I'd be anything like JFK! I answered those question more like I thought I would act in an ideal situation.

Well, I'm expecting Mum's call any second now, so I better sign off here and put my shoes on.

Ta ta for now.

You know, I've been thinking about how my eyes are hurting after reading that messageboard and I'm beginning to wonder whether it's really the red on black that's causing it...my old X-Men Fan Page had that colour scheme and it never used to bother my eyes. However, I have noticed I've been squinting a lot more lately and things don't seem to be as clear anymore. Furthermore I don't remember the last time I went to the Optomotrist and I'm sure you're meant to go every two years. Long story short then, I need to make an appointment! But for when...I'm thinking Friday because I have to go into the city anyway to the Job Find Cente...I wonder, should I tell them I'm not taking the job after all? Hmmm....what a schmoozle! Anyway, I shall call up the Optomotrist tomorrow and see what the say, I may have to wait for a week or something!

Sigh, the Optomotrist and dentist...damn.

Anyway moving on, picking up my mother was a bit of an ordeal, I shouldn't have taken the manual car because my left leg developed the shakes whenever I had to push in the clutch and it wasn't the least bit pleasant. On the plus side Mum still has lots of cake from her 10 Year Party, so we had that for dessert tonight, yummy!

And now because of the late hour:

Wednesday Mind Hump

Cinco De Mayo

1. ¿Como Estás? Do you speak English?
No just that sentence and this one explaning it...
You're...you're kidding right?
Que?

2. Ever been to Mexico? If so, where? What did you do there?

Nope, but I did write a very involved story where George McFly and his father go to Mexico...they go and see some sights, avoid food poisoning and what not.

3. Do you like Mexican food? What's your favorite Mexican dish?

Never tried it...but it sounds like it'd be too spicy for me.

Well..I'm tired as Hell, all this early waking by Mum is taking it's toll, I need to catch up on my sleep! So off to bed I go.
