Making it Snappy

anonymoose_au11:28pm: Because I have to get to work at 8:30am tomorrow because I'm on opening, so I need to get a move on!
I had a busy day today! Firstly before work I went to my podiatrist to pick up my new orthodics, they've very swish and feel a lot more secure on my foot so I have a good feeling about them :O) Unfortunately, I juuust missed the bus that would have got me to work on time and as it turned out I was on the first shift of the day, embarrassing!
After my shift I spoke to my supervisor about the Classic Bike/Classic Bike Guide mix up, but we'll have to wait until the Branch Manager gets back because I'm pretty sure he's the one who made the original order, although I was still supposed to check it. Still not sure what we'll do, but I guess if all else fails we'll just have add the new magazine instead and hope people have some interest in restoring bikes.
After work I decided to head down to archery for Monday afternoon practice, people we're doing the shoot that we'll be doing this Saturday and I joined in. Alas, my success rate is still super low :O( I did get a few 9s and 8s which to me indicates that I can do it, it's just that consistency is not a strong point of mine. I'm wondering if I should go on Wednesday afternoon as well, although I'll be going to my parents place and they usual have dinner early. Perhaps I'll ring and ask tomorrow.
On the way back from archery I went to Aldi to check out the laptop desks, I decided to get the portable laptop table one rather than the actual desk one. However I have run into a problem, namely I don't think my laptop gets enough air when placed on the table. At the moment I have this lap desk thing that has an extra fan in it and has a sort of vent thing going on, I don't actually have the fan on at the moment because I'm not sure where I put the cable for it, but the vents still provide a very good cooling effect. The table doesn't have that benefit and if I put the lap desk thing on top it'll be too tall. I suppose the desk has a height option, but I'm not sure if I have the space for it. Of course, now I have to take the laptop table back which is kind of annoying, but I got the receipt so it should be OK.
Finally, I got some good Sims 4 time in this evening, Julien is getting on very well indeed, although I will confess to fiddling a bit with the ages of the other Sims in the family because I don't want them to shuffle off this mortal coil to soon. It's hard to let 'em go though.
Righto, as I mentioned I gotta go because I need to be all systems go tomorrow morning - and not forget my gym gear for my workout after work.
