anonymoose_au11:19pm: That's a good rule, because right now I'm one sleepy Moose, but then I did get up at 7:30 today and went to the breakfast, the gym and the Dee Why Library for my volunteering. o it's been a busy day for me!
In other news, a weird-ass ad has just come on for a care-alert thing? WTF, apparently it's for Mother's Day, because everyone's Mum is getting old? LOL, cheerful. :OP Fortunately neither my mother or grandmother need one because they have those buttons in their places of residence since they're in the old folks home.
Right, yes I just let myself get distracted there. Returning to real life, alas gluing the spring didn't work at all. :O/. I really don't know what to do now...I don't think the idea with the u-shaped nail is going to work because the wood is soft and eventually the broken end of the spring digs a groove. Although...if I could find where I put my sandpaper I could grind the sharp edge down. Or maybe I should just try and find and buy a new spring. Not that I actually know how to attach that sort of thing.
In news unrelated to chairs, I've decided to make another body for my Plushy plush because I messed up the one he's got now by trying to glue the dang skates on. Hopefully, this will work out, because right now poor Plushy plush is skate-less much like the real Plushy.
And finally, I must have kicked up some dust while I was moving chairs around and it's got up my nose, so now I'm all sniffly. Just great.
Oh! And good news, breakfast this morning was extremely delicious and very fun - hanging out with my co-workers with the added benefit that I was asked if I could do a shift tomorrow afternoon. I said yes, of course, so yay! More money.
On that note I better hit the hay, my eyelids are drooping.
