We're Descending Towards Hill Valley

10:34pm: Yes! The internet and even TV are full of stories and whatnot about Back to the Future, so fabulous! It's a good day to be a Backie! I've set up a post for Tumblr of the scene at the start of the second movie, to show up tomorrow at 8:29am because that's when it'll be 4:29pm in California. I hope it works, I've never used the post scheduling feature before.
In other news, I made a bit of stuff up today re: the skating...I managed to read the session times wrong, so after work today I hurried to get to Macquarie Centre by 12:30, thinking that the lunchtime session went from 11:30am to 1:30pm. I actually succeeded in getting there - despite going the long way and taking a slight detour - only to find...it's only a two hour session on Sundays! The rest of the time the lunchtime session is 1 and a half hours. So basically, there was only half an hour left. Shiiit.
Also, it's a flat rate of 20 bucks with no discount for having your own skates, so obviously I didn't go, I decided to wait for the next session and having expected to spend 20 bucks, I'd go in the first hour instead of the second. Even with those compromising, I had two and a half hours to kill. So I had lunch, ran into someone I used to went to school with - I later realised the shorts I was wearing are my crappier ones with the paint stain that won't quite come out - awkward :OP, then I left the mall - because you only get three hours free parking, and if I didn't I'd end up having to pay 4 bucks for being there 3 and half hours - and went to get some petrol and check out a Vinnies shop in Ryde. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything...except, I checked the purse Lorraine has in the film and it's one of those old school beaded ones and I think I might have seen one of those, but I didn't realise it would be the right one at the time!
But I got back to the mall - and after an hour the three hours begin again - although I was told the ice rink would validate my parking for an extra hour, but eh whatever and got on the ice. :O) Since it was the beginning of the session the ice was so smoooooth, nice! It's almost worth paying extra for that...Oh well, we'll see what the ice is like at the Sunday session.
After an hour I headed off for the Super Centre in Belrose, Mrs S gave me her bedroom curtain, which the other carer had pinned up to sew and I wanted to get matching thread - and also return that bais binding I got. I planned to go via Mona Vale Road (face the fear), but I got a bit confused and ended up having to go via Warringah Road which was a bad choice because the traffic on that thing is just terrible in the afternoons. Eventually, I turned off and took a back route for a bit.
The curtain has been taken up now and it looks great if I do say so myself :OP! Although, I was going to do more with my petticoat, but I haven't got round to it and it's kinda late now.
Anyway, I better wrap this up I still don't seem to be getting enough sleep and that won't do at all!
In closing HAPPY BACK TO THE FUTURE DAY! (OMG, I don't have a BTTF icon available! D:)
Goodnight all!
