10:03pm: Seriously now, I've got cable, there should be something worth watching on.

Actually I was watching something on free-to-air tv but my DVD player is doing that switching on-and-off bullshit again so that's a bust. Lucky for me, I download the soundtrack to Tales of Monkey Island so can listen to that instead. Yay! I was going to play The Sims 3, but then I realised that I nee to download some stuff for it before I do, so that'll have to wait 'til tomorrow evening.

In other news, today went rather well, except for the fact I somehow got heartburn from something and seeing as I have two packets of Antacids here at the apartment I didn't want to go and buy more so I sort of just had to grin and bear it. Which was OK except for the firs part of the bus trip home where I felt pretty damn dodgy indeed! But it's gone away now, wouldn't you know it? So, I'll just have to make sure to eat more slowly or something. Oh and bring some of my antacids with me to work, LOL.

Also I'm up to the Vs now with 'Operation File Archive', as well as that I managed to catch up on all the other filing despite the fact that with the receptionist sick yesterday and today I sort of had to fill-in for her as well. Go me! :OD With the sick leave last week, I was pretty worried that the file situation might get out of hand.

Speaking of sick leave, there seems to be something going around the office, my Uncle Sam was away until today, and one of co-workers who sits across from me was away yesterday and someone in the accounts department. And there's the receptionist, although she had a cold, I'm not exactly clear on what the other's had except for the account person who did have a stomach issue. Whatever the case I better make sure I wash my hands before lunch and whatnot. And of course the cold does seem to be going around, I just better make sure I keep eating my mandarins!

Hmm, well this entry is longer than my recent ones, but I think I've run out of things to say now, so I shall Meme and run.

Moving

So … the question is–what kind of moving experiences have you had with your books? (Or, just in general if you’ve got good Moving Day stories–and who doesn’t?) Did having to pack and move your books cause any changes in your book-collecting habits? Make you wish you had everything on an e-reader? Feel free to discuss! (grin)

Well, mostly my books have come safely with me wherever I've moved, however, when I was a kid I had this book I really loved called Annie the Invisible Girl that we borrowed from the library. Then shortly before leaving Canberra for Dubbo it disappeared, completely! My parents ended up having to replace it. Long story short eventually we moved from Dubbo to Sydney and what do you think should reappear? The book! Man, was that ever weird!
Actually, it might have gone missing again, because I'm not sure where it is now. Shame, it was a great book.

Right, better get ready to hit the hay!

Goodnight all!
