Where The Rich People Hang Out...
Jul. 13th, 2007 08:53 pm7:36pm: I was thinking about Credit Cards this week, what with a dream I had a few nights ago, where one of my bosses chewed me out because I didn't have enough money in my savings account (what with my new budget)to buy something for the office.
The thing is, while I would be getting this card for work purposes and therefore would never be in debt because I get my expenses reimbursed every week, there's the whole annual fee thing going on, also I figured if I was going to get a credit card I'd want to get one with some sort of award scheme, like Qantas Frequent Flyers. But my bank doesn't currently offer a card with that sort of feature...or rather it does, but only in this special sort of separate bank. Sounds like it's for the rich people. The credit card itself even looks expensive!
In other news, I went to Fanfic.net to look at some of the Harry Potter fics, geeze, everyone's been paired with everyone in that fandom haven't they? Percy alone has been paired with Penelope, Oliver, Pansy Parkinson, Draco Malfoy, Marcus Flint, Hermione, Neville, Harry, Barty Crouch Snr, Snape, Cedric, Luna, Tonks, Sirius Black, Fleur, Tom Riddle, original characters and even some of his brothers. What the fuck? Really it's quite odd.
In other news, I'm sure you're sick of this now, but um it turns out my recaculations of the other day with that whole damn Quidditch Cup and Charlie Weasley were wrong...I told you I couldn't count...but whatever, it still does sort of work. Maths sucks, I think we can all agree.
I'm also thinking about new laptops! It would be so cool to have a new green Dell, but alas, under my current circumstances it would take about a year to save up enough. My grandfather said the other week that he may give me a loan, but when he heard how expensive it would be he didn't think it was a good idea. I suppose he's right.
In further news I remain addicted to cheese, and the horror! If I wanted to totally clear my system of it, and start again I'd have to eat no cheese for 21 days! No way! I could barely last a day and a half!
Hmm...well I'm gonna go clean up my computer now, put stuff on CDs and whatnot since I've got way to much crap on this thing.
