11:13pm: For tonight's Open Mike Night, whoops...although with my low-heeled sandals out of comission I would have had to wear the high heeled sandals anyway.

Anyway! It was an interesting night, I enjoyed it except for the rock band and that was because the sound was way too loud, seriously, I thought my eardrums would burst! I swear I'm never gonna hear those particular frequencies ever again. :OP

Also I got to meet up with two of my friends beforehand for dinner in Dee Why, since my friend Tina had a buy one get one free voucher for the Dee Why Hotel. We had pizzas, most delicious!

And at Mum's insistence I took Dad's car to drive around in today, which was probably for the best because otherwise I never would of made it to where I needed to be! Church, then back to Dee Why, then to the sports hall where the Open Mic Night was held.

Apart from that not much else to report although I was originally going to take the car back to Mum and Dad's this evening, but in the end I came back here to the flat since it was closer, plus I forgot a hair elastic which would have been really annoyed tomorrow when I went to the gym (and Mum doesn't really have hair elastics since she has short hair). It was a bit annoying when I'd gone to all this trouble to get everything to put in the car, but what are you gonna do?

And I managed to drive at night without major incident - although I volunteered to drive Tina back to her car which she'd left at Forestway so she can go in my friend, Ben's car and I managed to stall at one point, which sure did suck...

Anywho! Now I shall Meme and then wrap this up.

:Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) (2008):

1) Are the majority of your friends married or single? Single, although most of them are in relationships.

2) Rings are one of the items most frequently pawned. Have you ever visited a pawn shop, either to sell or to buy? I have! That's where I got a Beta video player (now gone) and some of my DVD players.

3) Let's say we want to put a ring on it: What's your ring size? I really don't know...I think I bought a size small from one of those jewellery shops you see at Malls.

4) Beyonce does commercials for Pepsi. What's the last beverage you drank? Water

5) Beyonce also has a clothing line. What are you wearing right now? My night gown, an old school cotton one with purple flower print, also it's short because it's getting into warmer weather now.

6) Speaking of clothes, Sam was changing hers this morning when she unintentionally flashed her neighbor. She didn't realize he was working along the fence that runs under her bedroom window. Tell us one of your most embarrassing moments. I went down to the main house a few weeks back to fiddle with router and was just about to go inside when I noticed that Mum's friend's husband was adjusting the thermostat having just had a shower! Crap! Like that wasn't embarrassing as Hell!

7) Rumor has it Beyonce is pregnant again. Coincidentally, Sam needs to check the Babys R Us registry for a shower present. Who will receive the next gift you give? Uh...hmm, dunno probably Christmas presents for the family.

8) But Sam doesn't actually want to go to the shower and is trying to come up a good excuse. Tell us a time you fibbed you told to get out of doing something. Um...I'm not good at excuses, I think I just said I didn't feel like going, so didn't. :OP

9) When did you last go inside the bank and talk to a teller? Umm...not for ages! I might have to do it before the end of the year because my card is set to expire and I want to make sure I get one that's coloured green.
