anonymoose_au10:32pm: The other assignment that is. Aw, man I hope it's OK, maybe I should have worked more on the conclusion, it's a bit half arsed. Sigh, fingers and toes crossed I don't fuck up too much, I need to get a good mark otherwise I might fail the subject and thus throw $800 away!
That reminds me, I still have another assessment so to speak to do on that subject, to do with forum posts, better not drop the ball on that.
And finally I need to figure out what's the last subject I should pick for next semester. Something interesting and useful!
In other news, I still haven't managed to win a game of Monopoly against the computer yet! :O/ I think I might have almost done it, but the application froze and I had to reboot my phone and I lost my game. Lame.
And I've just remembered you can get scrabble for your mobile I better look into that!
Oh! And this morning was the Big Morning Tea and one of the companies in our building had cupcakes, muffins etc for sale with some of the proceeds going to cancer research. So I brought a very yummy cupcake. Mmmm.
And good work continues in the office, I feel most useful indeed! :OD In another month I think I get a performance review or something and hopefully it'll go well.

Pet Names
Do you have any pet that has a name inspired by your readings?
Nope, but I did name my beloved canary for a canary that showed up in a Looney Tunes cartoon, for some reason instead of Tweetie Bird, the canary in this episode was called Frankie. So that's what I called my canary when I got him.
If not, what would you pick if you DID? Hmmm...well I like the name Polgara from the Belgaraid and Mallorean series so I might use that.
Do any of your friends have book-based names for their pets? (Or their children?) Not that I know of. Although someone famous called their girl Scout which I wonder might be a tribute to Scout from To Kill A Mockingbird, but I'm not sure if that's the case.
