anonymoose_au11:41pm: My mother has sources (who I'm not sure) who have alerted her to some job opportunities related to libraries and there's a big one! A part time Library Assistant job at my old school!
This is rather exciting because as a nerd I rather enjoyed my time at school, and the school library was where my friends and I used to spend our lunch time. Plus I got on well with the librarians - I wonder if they're still there? Plus, since they're my alma mater that's sure to give me a leg up...I hope.
Anywho! I must apply directly tomorrow! Once I call the other library I volunteer at and see if I should come in.
I had a it of an unpleasant surprise tonight after work when I arrived at Town Hall to find the trains to North Sydney weren't running! Thanks for mentioning this on Friday, guys, fortunately I was able to recall that one of the buses that comes from Town Hall goes by the station a few minutes before my usual bus home so I caught that and got home in good time.
