Playing Catch Up...

Opps, I got distracted with the Superhero Hype Messageboard, so didn't post any memes yesterday, but when I went to check it just now I discovered shock horror the Wednesday Weird Ones aren't up at the mo! Porque!
I think I remember something about this been mentioned last week...but I don't have the page link so er...I won't bother with that.
And I'm not going to bed yet so I'll do that Whisper on a Wednesday thing a bit later.
But for now Thursday Threesome
::Reading, Writing and Aritmetic::
Onesome- Reading: What's on your reading list this fall? Are you one of those people that has a stack of books waiting to be read on your nightstand? Or do you prefer to savor one read at a time?
Ummm...well it's Spring over here, but I don't really have a reading list...in fact I should get myself one since I tend to reread the same thing over and over again (I get obsessed with things, you know ;O) I should get some new stuff!
I also tend to read more than one book at a time, even though I don't intend to because I'm scatterbrained like that...so at the mo, yeah I've got heaps of books and comics around that I'm reading...
Twosome- Writing: Do you write letters anymore? Or do you prefer the ease of e-mail? Do you keep up with your correspondence? And what's your stance on writing thank-you notes?
Yeah, to my "Uncle" David over in England, but only twice a year. On the whole I perfer the ease of AIM or even calling, because sometimes e-mails go astray and all.
Regarding thank-you notes, I find them a bit of a pain since in M and Mum's Book of Ettiquitte saying thank you doesn't count, you've gotta write a note! Also, you're apparently supposed to write a thank-you note in return to a thank-you note, which is just bloody weird...I think I must have misunderstood...
Threesome- Arithmatic: What school subject did you do the best in? Which was your worst subject? Which subject did you like the best?
My best subject was History...I did Ancient, Modern and the History Extension in my last two years of school and I got in the 90s for all them. :O) I'm rather proud of that!
My worst subject was Maths...but funnily enough I discovered I was by no means the worst at in my school when I was put in the lowest Maths class and got an AWARD (twice!) for topping the class! :Oo I almost didn't go up on the stage to recieve them, I was so sure it was a mistake. Needless to say, I hate Maths and didn't do it for my final year of school (thank you, Monte for giving us a choice between Maths and Science! I did Earth and Environmental Science, it was fun.)
My favourite subject was English, particularly in the last two years when we had a cool teacher, who a lot of other kids didn't like, but I really did. Probably 'cause I was such a suck up! :OP
My English Extension teacher was the biggest bitch though, I actually dropped the class 'cause she was such a shit. Heh, my father told me that some students of his had her for a teacher and they called her 'Frog Face!' :OD
Hmmm, well there's usually more than that on Thursday, but that's how it is.

the_h_o...geeze, I'm so pimping this guy! But what do you expect, his best friend is Pimpin' Pete! ;O)
In other news, I'm watching Unsolved Mysteries right now, I'm so glad they've put this on instead of Profiler or whatever...I don't much care for fictional crime shows as I've mentioned, excepting Diagnosis Murder and Quincy. And it would seem that the long ago theory of my brothers and I that bad people always seem to have pick-up trucks... I mean Ted Bundy was fond of the VW Beetle, but whenever you see someone on Unsolved Mysteries, it's always a dude in a pick-up truck! Creepy!
Sadly it's occured to me I've made no mention of BTTF this week! Porque?! Well, franklyBTTF III's never been my favourite, total lack of George action :O) but let it be known that it has crossed my mind "Ah, Marty and Doc in the old West" sort of thing and I've enjoyed reading what everyone says about it. But my time to shine is in November, BTTF I!
In fact, Uni finishes the day before November 12th...or November 11th US time...I wonder...if I planned it well enough I could actually leave right after class on a plane bound to the US and arrive in time to visit some of the BTTF sights on the Historic Day! :O) But alas...I don't think I'd have the guts...plus my New York friend wouldn't be in New York for a number of weeks after that...where would I stay?!
Nope...I think I'm gonna order a BTTF cake instead...YES! I'll make a 50th Annivesary collage...and they can put it on the cake...I'll look like a total freak but what the Hell, it'll be fun! And a great excuse to get my favourite chocolate sponge cake...mmmm...spongy!
You know...now I really want some cake...
But I've got to go on UTS Online and try and do this stuff I haven't done for tomorrow's class.
Ta ta for now!
