It Burns, It Buuuurns!

8:56pm: By that I mean heartburn. I must have eaten way too much chocolate and stuff over the past few days because not only did I still have a headache when I woke up this morning I shortly began to suffering from this terrible heartburn that's been with me all day long. On the upside, my digestive system was also irritated this morning, but that seems to have calmed down a bit at least. But the heartburn remains, I swear what's with that shit? I took an antacid, but I guess that stuff doesn't really work (at least according to the internet sites I've read). I suppose I could have brought some Gaviscon, but all that stuff is mint flavoured, ewww...I shudder at the thought!

Of course, despite all this I'm still craving some chocolate, which can only be a very bad idea...Resiiiist, Moose!

Moving on, I'm here at my parents house even though my father is here, because he invited me over to try some of this potato pie he made up last night, and well...it started rain etc. etc. It was some damn good potato pie, let me tell you, I should learn how to make it. :OD

And I managed to track down a tape to record Cold Case on (I'm not exactly sure what was on it, though...hope it was nothing irreplacable...anywho, tonight's episode is about some super-creepy white extremist group. What the fuck is with those types of groups? They need to grow a brain or something.

Oh shit, my attempts to tape it have gone awry, why does this happen...bugger. Oh well, I suppose I can wait until it shows up on Pay TV. Dunno if it'll ever show up on DVD because it uses so much music, that's probably cost the bomb in royalties or whatever.

Don't have a significant other, but I do lust for Mr. Colin Firth, otherwise known as Mr. Darcy, aaah Mr. Darcy.

Chocolate and cheese!

Ummm...chocolate I guess...stay away from it, Moose!

4. SLOTH: What is your plan for an ideal day of sloth?

Hanging out on my laptop and and writing a story and watching Foxtel. Or hanging out with friends just shooting the breeze and whatnot, good times...

5. WRATH: Describe a time that you let out a can of whoop ass on someone.

Well, my brothers and I have got into some pretty hardcore fights in my time, although the time I totally trashed my father's Father's Day card and called him some really nasty things was pretty bad...

6. ENVY: Who or what do you envy? Why?

Hmmm...well, people with normal digestive systems would be on that list, what's with this crap?

7. PRIDE: Have you ever had to swallow your pride? What are you proud of?

Swallowed my pride? I don't think I've ever done that... As for what I'm proud of, graduating Uni, go me! :O)

1. Disneyland California!
2. Christmas in England, it wasn't a White Christmas, but close enough.
3. Loch Ness (I swear, I saw the bubbles of Nessie!)

5. Going up Victoria Mountain in Hong Kong, I mean yikes, that tram went almost 90 degrees, it was scary as anything!
6. Travelling around Great Britian
7. Writing one of my first stories at Uncle David's house, where the family and I stayed while in Great Britain. Ahhh, the start of it all.
8. When it rained really really heavily in Bali and flooded the yard of the hotel. I just found that funny, especially when we went out with umbrellas, but our pants rolled up so they wouldn't get soaked.
9. Family holiday to Noosa, at least I think it was Noosa.
10. Trip to New Zealand and going around in Grandpa's yacht, good times.

Summer Fun

1. What's the current temperature outside in your area?

10 degrees Celcius or 50 degrees F otherwise known as frickin' freezing here in Aus, it sure ain't Summer here!

2. Have you gone swimming this summer yet?

It's not summer, but I never do get to swim as much as I plan too, I really must change that, it would be some good exercise.

3. What other plans do you have for the summer?

It's not summer dang it! But as for what I plan to do this summer...I can't say I've planned that far ahead, it's not my strong suit

Well, Cold Case is over and it's almost time for me to go to bed so I can finally catch up on my zzzzs. Also this heartburn continues to bring me down. Also, I don't think the Tour de France is on today, an outrage! I suppose, they do need their breaks though...

I don't have my memory stick with me, so no Sims thing tonight.

It's not gonna taste good but a good cure for heartburn is baking soda in the coldest water you can get (the colder the water the less you taste of it). The box usually has a measurement for the antacid.
