anonymoose_au6:05pm: Do you know how hard it is to get a pair of decent, simply tailored and not hideously expensive shorts in this place? They're too short, or too long, or with frilly bits, or some weird belt things and various shit like that. And even if they are decent looking they cost heaps! I saw a nice pair today, but it was 70 dollars! I'm not made of money!
In other news I forgot to buy cereal when I was at Bi-Lo today, damn! I got half a chicken (yay chicken sandwich for lunch), and junk food (shame on me!), but not the cereal or some new carrots (I've still got some but they taste terrible!). I could go up to the IGA, the carrots cost the same, but I think the cereal is more expensive. I wouldn't mind about the cereal really, but I think my milk is about go off. It seems to have been tinged by some...thing...I don't know how to describe it, you know how if you put a banana next to a sandwich or something the taste of the banana permates into the other thing (tastes terrible!) Kind of like that! I can't figure out if the milk is going off or if it just tastes like shit. Either way I don't want a glass of it. I was going to use it in some of that instant pasta stuff, but...the chicken.
Wow, that sure was a long rant on food... I bet that bored the shit out of you all (why is no-one commenting on my LJ? I is depressed by this :OP)
More work tomorrow...phew! Well I need the money and there's also exciting news re: job situation. This morning M called me up and said she had news (I though it was bad news at first, like Grandpa had died or something!) but no, it was about Mr. Fitzhenry, the friend of my grandparents who offered me a full-time job last year (which I turned down because I'm an idiot) is not happy with the person he originally hired and is offering the job to me again! I have to the end of April to decide. Obviously I'll take it unless one of my library jobs come through. How exciting though! I hope I can hack it. I sure am bad at telling what people think of me though. Also note to self: Don't whine (my father's gonna laugh his ass off when he hears that), that's what the current person does and that's why they don't like them.
