Back to the Grindstone...
Mar. 10th, 2012 11:39 pm10:59pm: If you could call it that, it has to admitted I don't work much. Still, standing up for all that time does make my knees a bit sore. But they'll be OK tomorrow I'm sure.
In other news, tonight was the last of the Summer Gatherings at Church, Mum had gone to an afternoon tea or somethiing yesterday so she had some cake left over. I'm not sure where it came from, but it was gluten-free and was quite a hit with the people at the gathering. :O) There was also some yummy chips there along with watermelon and grapes and some rather interesting sweet things. I don't know how to describe them actually, I think they were coffee flavoured, which I can't say I liked them all that much. :OP
Anyway, not much else to report beyond that, so I better catch up on those Memes!

Do you finish every book you start reading? What would cause you to stop reading a book?
I usually do, although sometimes I admittedly skip to the end, because I find it dreary and lacking, but I do the best I can to finish a book once I start. Sometimes though you just have to give up on a book that's just complete crap.

1. What’s a film that always tugs at your heartstrings? Well, the last part of Back to the Future III always makes me a bit sad, no more BTTF films! Although we've got the games now...so...hee.
2. How long would it take you to come up with a six-inch length of string if someone needed it right now? Depends if we've got string in the kitchen drawers or not, if we do, probably a couple of minutes, if not I've got nothing at all.
3. What are your thoughts on string cheese? Ugh, I tried some of that once, and maybe I didn't take the plastic off properly? But either way that tasted like CRAP! Ugh.
4. Among people you know, who’s the best guitar-player? My father! Go Dad! :OD
5. What memories do you have of Silly String? None, I've never used it, I don't think it was really a big thing here in Australia.

Bedtime!
1. What do you wear to bed? Usually, boxer shorts and a tank top or t-shirt. In the middle of winter if it's quite cold I'll wear my Home Simpson themed fannel pj bottoms and a t-shirt. I used to have a Homer Simpson fannel pj set, but I'm not sure where it's gone!
2. What side of the bed do you sleep on? Well, right now that I've got a double bed, I sleep on the left side. At the apartment I only have a single bed, but I tend to move across to the left.
3. Are you back, side, or stomach sleeper? Both! I usally go to sleep lying on my left side or my back and I usually wake up on my stomach.
4. How many layers of bedding are on your bed? Two - sheet and doona.
5. Are you a bed hog or a covers-thief? Dunno, never shared my bed with anyone.

1. Have you ever had a romantic breakup that was easy? N/A.
2. When was the first time that you felt betrayed? When my best friend originally thought that I had called her a bad name based on rumour. :O(
3. Do you feel religious beliefs should have a role in politics? Not as a sole basis, like if you can't back up your feelings on an issue with something else as well, you should probably think twice about bringing it up or at least expecting others to follow your reasoning.
4. Are you doing anything special this weekend? Nope, unless you count RPing fun, in which case I hope for serious fun! :OD
5. Oreo cookies turned 100 years old this week. How do YOU eat an Oreo? I twist one of the biscuit thing off, eat the cream filling and then eat the two biscuit bits.
6. If you could change something about yourself, what would it be? My hair! It can be awfully dry and/or oily. Pain in the ass.
7. Describe a time when you should have tried harder. Uh...a lot of times! Probably during my full-time job, man...I totally got my ass fired on that.
8. What is your favorite baseball-related movie? A League of their Own which is pretty much the only baseball movie I've ever watched. It's a damn good one though. :O)
9. What is one lesson you have learned in the past year? Um...gee, I dunno. Make sure to show up on time for all interviews I guess?
And the other two memes aren't up, which is a good thing because I'm playing Words With Friends here! Not to mention it's closer to midnight than not!
