4:15pm: Writer's Block continues it's relentless reign, it's driving me nuts! I have stories in my head, I know I do, but I can't get 'em out of there.

In other news, I'm wondering if I should go to my parents' house. I think my mother and father are expecting me and the little bro is probably coming over for dinner, so... plus you know if they've asked me over why not? Except I haven't done all my laundry...I guess I do have enough clothes to be getting on.

LOL right now I'm watching that Family Guy episode where Peter goes back in time, LOL the BTTF references - hilarity!

So, yeah...not much else to report, I think I will head over to the parents' house.

Writing Stuff is Hard...

7:34pm: OK, this Flash Fic has been causing me grief all week, the start of it was crystal clear in my head, but alas, the ending was elusive and wiley. However, I think I've done it!

So I'm over at my parents house, but I didn't go to Church...whoops.

But I do feel not so nervy anymore (which was interferring with the writing process and all), but I wondering if I'm just worried about how I'm supposed to look after the Bosses house while they're gone. I shouldn't be that worried because I don't really need to do anything, the dogs meals will all be prepared so I just need to give it to them and another co-worker will come to walk them.

But you know what I need to do, I need to arrange to see some friends, I haven't done that for some weeks, maybe that's what's got me feeling so edgy. It's like I'm lonely, but not exactly, nervous, but not really and wanting to write but having trouble doing so.

But enough of that, I'm watching this Salute to the Gold Medalists of the Olympics and I found out that the diver who one the Gold Medal yesterday is gay. Dang...there goes my chance ;O)

Hmmm...sooo, not much else to report. Hoping this week goes much better than the last, I'm sure it will since my digestive system seems to be back on track.

Damn Son...You Love Your Hats....

10:29pm: Compass is on, its a documentary about the Jewish people and their various hats (you know, the little cap ones, the big fur ones and the kinda regular looking black ones). It's very interesting, apparently way back when one of the Popes had the Jewish people wear symbols on their clothes and wear certain hats to set them apart. Creepy, that's probably where Hitler got the idea for the star.

But also intriguing is that the Jews have made these hats part of their culture even though they were supposed to be symbols of humilation and such. Hmmm, a resilent group.

Having said that the maker of the docu sure uses the term 'hat' a lot, it gets a bit irritating after a while.

We were watching the Closing Ceremony before that though, complete with oversized drums! LOL, so cute. :OD

Anywho, I'm updating this because I'm in the mood for more of that 5000 q survey....

This man asks "Why do people wear hats", I think he means the symbolic sort of hat, because in general, people wear hats to keep the sun off their heads...they're also cool.

And that's all I have to say about today - work calls tomorrow so to bed I go.
