Dude, Where's My Cache...

Usually people want to get rid of their cache so it doesn't keep popping up webpages on the address bar when they don't want 'em, but I do! I'm lazy and don't want to type out the entire address. Ah well, what 'chu gonna do.

Anyway! I was talking to missnickers tonight and she mentioned how she wanted some Drawn Together (see Website for info on it) Sims. I have no idea how you'd make Spanky Ham, or Ling-Ling, but I figured I could make a Princess Clara, so I did!

In other news I'm watching this unbelievable doco about the Pro-Gaming circuit! There's even an olympics of sorts for it called The World Cyber Games, I think I may have mentioned wanting to see this doco yesterday. Anyway, I'm sorry to say Sims 2 isn't one of the games they use. In fact they only seem to use one and it's one of those Dungeon and Dragons lets-fight-each-other and take-over-the-world thingies. Shame.

But wow you wouldn't believe how big these guys are! In South Korea that is, the world champions of this game are like the Poster Boys of the country! The girls go nuts over them! They can earn 100,000s of US dollars a year! Wow! And it looks like it may be widening in viewers, Microsoft is a sponsor now, so it looks like we could see it on TV like with Celeberity Poker. This would be much more fun! They've even got commentators and everything! And sound-proof booths so the players won't be thrown off by all the cheering.

Indeed! And the funniest thing...well, I bet a lot of the mothers of these kids are like "WTF? Games? Get off that thing!"

But it's not all good news...there's been several deaths...like these guys have literally played themselves to death! Deep vein thrombosis from not moving...which is a lesson to me not to sit on my ass infront of this laptop all day, yikes!

Before this though, I saw something that was utterly bizarre, this couple decided to use a surrogate mother to have a kid...but not just anyone, the wife picked her own mother to be surrogate! So, the babies' (they were twins) "mother" is their grandmother. That's totally weird! Well, it all turned out OK, but man that's so weird!

Annnyway, I better get going because it's after midnight and I have to be up early tomorrow for an interview in the city!

Hey! It's A Green Man!

11:09pm: I'm watching this program about Pyschic Detectives (they seem to have success, so it's not all bogus) and they're trying to find a missing fellow at the moment, but this is the cool part, the man is obsessed with green. Everything in his house is green! Green bathroom mats, green bedsheets, green clothes that are even on green coathangers! LOL! I love green! I'd totally want to meet this guy. Hmmm...I should try and get more green in this place...alas the chairs (except for my office chair) are blue, and so are the napkins and the couch-bed is blue and red. Ah, well I suppose if I made everything shades of the same colour it'd be creepy. Which reminds me though, I must water the plant tomorrow, it's looking a little droopy.

In other news, it's been raining on and off, I hope the roads aren't too slippery tomorrow, because I've got work at Preview and it's at a new location, which is a bit of a bummer because it looks like its a lot further away than before and driving to new places suck. Also I'm not sure if they'll be any food places nearby for lunch, so I'll have to bring a sandwich along, but alas, I have no ham or anything. I really want a ham sandwich since I saw someone making one on TV this evening.

Oh no! The Green Man is dead :O( That totally sucks...I guess he must have had an accident while going out for a walk...as it turns out he had a heart attack...what a shame! Oh well, at least he wasn't murdered or something, that would have sucked.

Anyway, having said all that, I suppose I should get to bed, after I check on the net where exactly the new offices of Preview are, because I might have to leave early to get there...Damn hope the traffic's not really bad...
