11:10pm: Yes! I finally got around to doing my laundry, which I've been procrastinating on all week - however I haven't actually hung it up, which considering the late hour is poorly done by me.

Anywho, I'll make this quick, I had my first Saturday shift of the year today - fortunately, my foot is much better now so I didn't spend all three and a half hours in pain, well mostly. Me being me, I now have something else going on, which is rather embarrassing so I'm not gonna go into it, suffice to say I once again skipped going to the gym - I guess I'll go Monday afternoon. Which I can do because much to my disappointment the furniture repair man is out of town this week, so no couch fix yet. I'm a bit concerned that he might not be able to give me much notice and work does not like it when you ask for time off with minimal notice. If the parental units were here I could ask Mum to let the guy in for me, but unless I want to wait until June to get this fixed nothin' doing.

So there was something I was going to say yesterday, but I forgot what is was at the time, then I remembered, but now I've forgot again, LOL, typical me.

Incidentally, the Doctor's Referral saga continues because I didn't realise my Doctor's office closes at 1pm on the weekend, since I dilly-dallyed this morning I didn't get a chance to go there before I had to start work and by the time I finished at 1:30 they were already closed. I could try tomorrow but I'm doing archery in the morning and I don't want to have to rush around. I may have to leave it to Monday. Which I guess isn't a big deal as it's not like anything can be done until then anyway.

On that note, I better meme and run!

The Friday Five

1. Do you like to spend time outdoors? Hmm, depends on the weather and time of year, I do enjoy it on a nice summer day that's not too hot! But I'm not a walking in the rain kind of person.

2. What is your favorite flower? I've always been partial to red roses, to the extent that I actually tried (and succeeded!) in catching the bouquet at a cousin's wedding because it was a rose one. :O) Suffice to say I was not the next person to get married :OP.

3. Any favorite warm weather activities? Swimming, taking a walk, sitting inside in the air conditioning :OP

4. Have you ever kept a garden? If so, what did you grow? Sadly no, I'm not much of a green thumb, I've even failed at keeping cactuses alive! I do have one plant that my father saved from death some 20 years ago. It's very hardy and is still alive today and even flowers in the summer time!

5. Do you know how to swim? Having been born in Australia I do! Swimming is a very important skill here and as a five/six year old I went to swimming lessons at the local pool, where you had to reach certain skills to pass the course. I wouldn't call myself a strong swimmer, but I did pass and can keep my head above water.

Right on a final note, I went to church this evening and worked the PowerPoint, so although there was no singing at least the words were up there, which I'm sure was appreciated.

On that note, ta-ta!
